2/5 stars - Deeply Disappointing Experience at Bloom Hotel, giving 2 stars for Mr Rahul and the food else it deserves 0.
I regret to share my extremely unpleasant stay at Bloom Hotel, Arakashan Road. Despite its convenient location, the hotel fell woefully short of expectations.
Upon checking in, I was assigned room 116, where the AC malfunctioned within 10 minutes. Given the freezing temperature (8°C), I was shifted to room 221. Regrettably, the AC issue persisted, with the unit blowing cold air despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue.
The staff informed me that the maintenance staff was unavailable and it would take 12 hours to fix the AC. However, my issues persisted for 22 hours, with no interim solution or alternative accommodation offered. The suggestion of an extra blanket was woefully inadequate. I emailed the grievance officer, Muskan, at 11 pm on the night of arrival, but received no response. They ask you to chat on the link they provide while checking in and if you call from the telephone then basically things don't ever reach your room for example my blowdryer. To get the AC fixed during the first night I made 4 calls & a visit to the front desk only after which the receptionist himself showed up to tell it was not going to get fixed that night. The shower didn't have hot water for a whole day until I returned back at 6pm to know about some autotrip which they didn't bother informing when I called in the morning to ask if there's some geyser switch that I do not know of since there's only lukewarm water coming out of taps and they said it's 24/7 hot water - which is a joke.
The hotel's women's kit was a small comfort, but it didn't compensate for the lack of basic amenities. The food was satisfactory, and Mr. Rahul was helpful upon knowing how much inconvenience i had been through he quickly addressed all my concerns but these positives are overshadowed by the hotel's failure to address my concerns. No compensation or resolution was offered, leaving me deeply disappointed.
I strongly advise potential guests to explore alternative options for far cheaper and better prices than this.
