I love this venue. The way it’s set up is so nice, if you pay for premiere parking like we did you won’t have to walk too far to the stage. Also getting out didn’t take too long since we had the parking upgrade as well. Another upgrade we splurged on was the blue moon party deck! If you’re on the fence about spending the extra money do it! We were at a sold out show and the party deck was so nice. There’s comfortable couches to wait on and then when the artist comes out you have plenty of room to dance, there’s also a private bar and the walk to the bathroom/water/food isn’t very far. I will definitely upgrade to the party deck again in the future…. So now I gotta talk about why I gave four stars. It stormed pretty hard before the show which left the cement slick, there was a wet floor sign but from our seats I saw AT LEAST 4 people slip and actually hit the ground and I can’t even tell you how many people slipped but caught themselves before falling. It worried me because I didn’t want anyone to get hurt. Please consider installing some drains or maybe finding some type of floor covering to help protect your guests when the cement is wet. This is my only complaint, I will definitely visit Blossom again!

I LOVE BLOSSOM. This is by far one of the best venues for concerts. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the lawn like I was here or in the pit which I’ve also done at this venue. The vibes are amazing. Tons of places for food and drink as well. The only thing that needs some work is the parking. You gotta walk FAR for the free parking and it takes forever to get out after the concert. Other than that it’s a 10/10 for me :)

I went to the Staind and Breaking Benjamin show. Overall, its a great place to see a show. I sat in the lawn which is fine with me. I prefer sitting out of the way from the crowd. The price of the beers and other canned drinks is $19 which is ridiculous. They did advertise a $2 hot dog all show long which is a good price compared to the rest of the concession prices. The problem was both times I tried to get one they were either making them, or completely out of them. The other problem is the parking. They didn't have all the lots open, so everyone was pushed into the same lot and then it was a long wait to get out after the show. Overall, still a great place to see a show.

I LOVE Blossom Music Center! Ive been attending concerts of all kinds since I was a kid (a few decades ago). Great Music under the stars! The Cleveland Orchestra plays every summer for Independence Day. My first time seeing this concert. Absolutely fantastic! Every summer all summer there are always great musicians performing.

Google
Excellent Customer Service. Friendly and fun staff. Intimate Amphitheater setting WITH SHADE and trees (as opposed to frying on gravel) Clean and Professional. I'll always go back

Google
Outdoor concert venue! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Be ready to walk! Saw James Taylor and the sound was beautiful, and even on lawn seating we could see him and the big screens gave the full experience. They sell/rent anything you could want need and have water refilling stations.

Google
Depends on the weather and the event. Sometimes it's 5 stars, sometimes it's 3 or 4. Really wish we had the ability to bring our own chairs still, the rentals are nice, but they should be treated like a offering if you forgot one.

Google
Absolutely beautiful venue.. it's gonna be hell on your legs if you're parked in the far lots.. They really need some kind of shuttle service. But man, once you get down into the bowl, it is absolutely a phenomenal place.

Yelp
Time for the yearly update. This one is going to be short and sweet based on this seasons crowd. NO CHAIRS Please stop yelling at us about the chair policy, it's not our problem. Yes it's stupid, no we will not let you have one in for concerts becuase you cannot sit in the low ones. STOP COMING HERE AFTER MAJOR MEDICAL PROCEDURES. You cannot expect the staff to bow to your every need and desire after choosing to go to a place you know requires walking and heat. Go home and rest like the doctor ordered. COME EARLY (3-4pm) IF YOURE HANDICAPPED. You have to think, you're not going to be the only people using a handicapped placard, and if you don't pay for parking and the ada parking is full, you're getting put in the overflow in the grass. It's not illegal, it's not their fault the lots get full. Every kid with a grandma is going to take the placard for easy parking and there is nothing we can do about it. FOOD/DRINK IS STILL EXPENSIVE, NO CASH This is nothing new, nothing has changed for 10 years. Overall, still a great place! (If you plan before you come) Have a great rest of the season

Yelp
amphitheatre nestled in a scenic setting, but the traffic and parking situation is a complete disaster--and has been for 50 years. It's honestly unbelievable that they still haven't figured out a functional system for getting guests in and out. Whoever's responsible for managing traffic, including the sheriff's department, should be held accountable. There's a shocking lack of lighting at key intersections, no real lane organization, and barely any direction from deputies--who often look like they'd rather be anywhere else. No flares, no clear signage, and no urgency. It's a total mess. If you're planning to attend an event, be prepared to either leave 30-40 minutes early or risk sitting in a gridlock for two to three hours after the show ends. That said, the VIP lounges are a bright spot. They offer decent restrooms, cover from the weather, and a relatively comfortable space to wait out even severe storms--like I did during a lightning delay. The service in VIP was fantastic, and the food, desserts, and drinks were all high quality--but very expensive. Be prepared to spend a good portion of your paycheck if you plan to eat or drink here.

Yelp
They no longer offer draft beer. They only serve cans. And what's worse is they no longer accept cash for anything. You are forced to use a credit card, which is ridiculous. I always loved Blossom for concerts growing up. I just moved very close and was planning on going there a lot. But until they accept cash they can go to hell and I will not support them.

Yelp
Great music venue (if you're under the pavilion). The journey inside the venue can feel a bit wonky and long once you get off the highway. Parking is tough. The GA lots are about a 20 or so minute walk to the venue and it can take a while getting in. There is preferred parking for $79/car at a few of the closer lots and $199 for VIP parking. Once inside. It's a fun music venue, especially on a nice day. I doubt I'd ever really opt for lawn seats, especially if it was an artist I really wanted to see. The open air pavilion is nice and although it is pretty big, it felt like an intimate concert.

Yelp
Super excited by the info: Totally Tubular Festival In a thrilling throwback to the vibrant 1980s music scene, legendary bands Thomas Dolby, Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey, Modern English, Men Without Hats, The Tubes, Wang Chung, Bow Wow Wow, Tommy Tutone, and Eddie Munoz of The Plimsouls have united to announce the 'Totally Tubular Festival'. This sensational lineup promises to deliver an unforgettable journey through some of the most iconic hits of the decade." This venue is amazing. The crowd is super chill. Bring lots of cash though, cause the prices are high. :( The food decent. Most of the concession stands are closed, so options are limited.

Yelp
I'm what some would call a music junkie and I've visited a lot of different music venues all over Ohio and beyond. Blossom has been on my list to check out for a while now and I was finally able to make it happen this summer. I sort of had an idea of what it's like, very similar to Riverbend in Cincinnati, mainly due to the stage and the lawn. That being said, my experience at Blossom was totally different and definitely better. My friends and I had VIP parking, which was certainly a plus. We were a short walk from the entrance and even the bathrooms right outside. Getting through security and scanning our tickets was easy. The fact that you're completely surrounded by nature is obviously the best part about this spot. I said at one point that I didn't feel like I was in Ohio, but more like a small town in a fairytale. Our group went with the lawn seats and we were lucky to find a great spot right in the center of the stage. While we were far from the stage and couldn't see much, the giant projectors helped. I didn't like how the cover of the stage points downward into the crowd. It makes it so much harder to see anything. The sound quality wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst either. The facilities were clean and stocked during my visit so that was good. One thing that did suck was leaving. We were funneled into such a small space that you could barely walk. It was like we were zombies trying to get out of there. I would come back for another show but I'll likely be very particular about who I would see. And I won't forget how nice the VIP parking was.

Yelp
According to Setlist, I've been to 3477 concerts to date. Kinda slacking since COVID-19, now that I reflect on it. Should be over 4000 by now. I have more experience than any of the yokels working at this venue. That's a plain fact. Like anywhere, this business has good employees, decent alright employees, and the bottom-of-the-barrel. It's the latter that will earn this venue the one-star and keep me from coming in the future. Each time I have come here I've had problems. They have the most concepts of what to give directives about. You can take pictures with cameras. What? There is a prohibition on PROFESSIONAL cameras, just as in most other music venues. On the other hand, this is not musical theatre. It's not Hamilton. I can take pictures if I want. It's not Jack White. Each time I have come here -- for rock shows -- I've been told I cannot take pictures with a camera. Mind you: it's more considerate. I am not holding my camera high above my head and thus bothering other patrons. I'm not using a bright screen like those using phones are. Another: you can't record entire songs. What? You can only record short clips, that's fine. Who are you talking to? I paid an inordinate amount of money to cover VIP Early Entry blah blah blah for this show. I can record the entire thing from beginning to end. I can wear those Rayban recording glasses and record the long ass drive from Cleveland if I desire. I am a patron. There is no posted prohibition either on the ticket or in signage about not being able to record a full song or take pictures with a point and shoot camera. They also stole my tiny tote bag from The Killers Manchester show at doors. It was for being "VIP" at those shows. Here, a minute later, Live Nation would give me a gigantic backpack for being "VIP" at this show. I don't typically even bother reviewing places anymore. If an artist is performing there, the patron is going regardless. This shitty venue is among the worst in the nation, down there with The Anthem in D.C., and M Pool in Henderson, NV. Skip the show and drive to the next stop instead. They need more training. They need more common sense. They need to just start over: fire everyone and rehire with new administration. That is all. You've been warned.

Yelp
I like Blossom because it's a large area for outdoor concerts. I have sat on the lawn and in the pavilion and I always have a good time. Food and drinks are expensive. The food is ok. Big portions. The staff is always nice. I do not like the parking there. I usually buy an upgrade for parking, which is expensive, and it's great when you arrive, but trying to leave is ridiculous. It's takes a long time to get out of the lot. Other than the parking I like going to shows here. You can tailgate before a show too. If you don't like crowds, I do not recommend it, otherwise go check it out.

Yelp
I have been here several times for shows. A lot of factors determine whether a venue is good or not. As far as this outdoor amphitheater goes, it's fine. Neither good nor bad. Just ok.

Yelp
I have been to Blossom for several shows in my life. I have always just purchased lawn seats, but this past weekend, I had tickets underneath the pavilion for NEEDTOBREATHE and it was SO nice. The amphitheater is built in a way that most any seat has good visibility. I sat just behind the "box seats", which was so nice because the folks in front of us actually sat a bit to enjoy their food and drink, which meant I had ever better visibility. The facility was very clean. It's changed a lot over the years and there are now tons of food trucks and drink stands. One con though is that the prices are truly higher than I've ever seen at a concert or fest-- $19 for a can of beer was pretty insane, regardless of inflation. The other con is that the walk from the parking lot is superrr far. However, it's free and the walk is an easy one. Will definitely return for more shows.

Yelp
I've been to Blossom Music Center twice now. The first was in 2015, and the second was yesterday, in 2024. Yesterday's experience would be enough to make me not visit ever again. Overall, the show and artist were great, and I don't have any complaints about the inside of the amphitheater. However, everything else was a disaster. They had us park on the lawn which is a very average amphitheater experience, but what we didn't know, is that we would have to walk over a mile just to get to the venue's main entrance. Aside from that, there was no signage to direct us to the entrance--just a lot of car traffic and people. In addition, the mile walk had to be made on the grass (there weren't sidewalks anywhere), and the amphitheater employees were constantly yelling for everyone to walk on the grass and not on the paved road so that the cars could drive through. It was uneven ground and could have been a safety hazard, especially considering the thousands of people that had to make the walk. After the concert ended, the walk from the venue back to the car was obviously just as long, except everyone was walking out at the same time, which made the lack of sidewalks, lighting, and signage even more hazardous and apparent. Once we finally made it back to our car, there was no one to direct traffic, so that was a mess in itself and it took forever to leave. Honestly, the part that was the most aggravating was the lawn chairs. We had looked up the venue's FAQ page and confirmed that we were allowed to bring chairs (and got an event-specific email telling us that chairs were allowed), as long as they met the 9" or under policy. We followed the rules and brought our compliant chairs, only to get there and have an employee tell us that we're not allowed to bring them in. It turns out that they had adjusted their rules to not allow personal lawn chairs, and when we got inside, we realized the venue was renting them for $10. It was so frustrating!! Especially since we took the time to verify beforehand, and their website and emails were not up-to-date. It's so unfortunate to give this venue such a negative review because the amphitheater itself is great, but there are just so many details that add up and made the experience so horrible. I definitely would not recommend.

Yelp
In comparison to other amphitheaters that I've been to, Blossom music center is a nightmare in ways I was not expecting. Upon booking tickets I was already aware that Blossom's parking situation is unpleasant, however, I was definitely not aware of the mile walk from the car to the actual entrance of the amphitheater. Normally I would say it's not tooo bad, but with the lack of sidewalks and signage to direct traffic, I would say it was dreadful (especially when it rained all day). Good thing I wore sneakers! We ended up renting lawn chairs (for $15 each). Got a small bag of cinnamon roasted cashews for $10, a small can of red bull for $7 and a large frozen margarita...for $27!! Crazy, but expected. I honestly have no complaints about inside the venue and the lawn was bigger than I had expected. We also left the show a song early, like many other people, so getting out of the parking lot could've been a lot worse!

Yelp
This venue is a little hard to get to, but it rewards you with a great experience nestled into an outdoor environment. Lots of food and drink options, though the drinks are crazy expensive. Lawn seats are cheap and fun and is my preferred experience.

Yelp
Had such an awesome time at the Blossom Music Center this past weekend! We went to see the Cleveland Orchestra perform The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and enjoyed every minute of it. The music and the orchestra were amazing but I also have to give props to the Center itself. We purchased a parking pass ahead of time and both parking and exiting were super easy. All of the staff were helpful and knowledgeable, clearly eager to ensure that everyone enjoyed themselves. They had a lot of great food and beverage vendors and the whole area was well-maintained. The grounds are beautiful. I can't wait to go back to see another performance!

Yelp
The workers could not have been better, the walk is what any logical person would expect when trying to fit 8-10 thousand cars in one location, and the gates were efficiently run, considering all the security. What was NOT good was the sound mix. We were towards the top of the hill and we couldn't even talk to the person next to us because it was so loud. This was not some headbanger's ball, either. This was Steve Winwood and The Doobie Brothers, HoF artists who do not need their music to be over 120 decibels to be enjoyed. The whole point to listening to great artists is to be able to hear the mix, the individual instruments, and the vocals. Isn't the music the main reason to got to a concert? The people and atmosphere are great but there are plenty of other places to go if I just want to sit in a crowd. Once a guitar solo was played, nothing else could be heard. The high ends were deafening and I watched numerous people grabbing their ears throughout. The best sound was when I walked into the bathrooms over the hill because those high ends couldn't reach so the mix sounded decent. Unfortunately I was not interested in hanging in the bathroom all night. They need a sound person that understands that volume alone does not make for a better experience, and actually can ruin one, like it did for us. We had to leave early because we couldn't really hear the actual music anyway over the screeching and (now I sound like an old geezer) it was more irritating to the ears than enjoyable. It's a shame, to be honest. If I go to another concert here and it hasn't changed, I think I'll stick with the other venues.

Yelp
We've always had a great experience at this venue. Staff is very helpful. Clean and easy to get to bathrooms and concessions. Parking for the bigger shows does require a bit of a walk. Arrive early and tailgate!

Yelp
This experience is one I hope to do every year! The 4th of July had the Cleveland Orchestra perform at this beautiful outdoor amphitheater! My son had the best time, and although you can purchase drinks and food , for the live orchestra events you can bring your own wine and food in picnics style to enjoy while watching the music! so nice! I can't wait to attend another summer concert here at Blossom

Yelp
. Sat through a thunderstorm and some rain. The lawn was a wet muddy mess. I had to park what seemed like a mile away. Had to walk through grassy area and large gravel paths. Getting out of there was an absolute disaster to an hour to get out. But for the show it's self the Cure were fantastic the sound was good. Thankful for that. Had no interaction with any ushers because I didn't see any. Took a long time to get in extreme security. Taking this venue off my list of places to go back to.

Yelp
I cannot believe that I never did a review for Blossom Music Center; I have been attending concerts both Rock and Classic at Blossom for at least 50 years. So glad that with the pandemic under control we can once again enjoy this phenomenal venue. Owned by the Cleveland Orchestra Blossom is a wonderful place with a pavilion that seats about 6000, and then the lawn which can accommodate about another 15,000. Nestled in the middle of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the natural setting is bucolic, the sound is wonderful and since the lawn is shaped into a large semicircle hillside it allows nice, although distant views from almost everywhere. The concert experience will be different depending on which concert you are going to. The classic concerts are much more relaxed and allow you to bring full picnics including food, beverages and wine. For the Rock, Country and other Popular Concerts you are limited to a clear gallon bag of food and a bottle of water, any bags you bring must be clear and there is a security check before the entrance area. In either case Blossom provides a beautiful setting in the woods, there are extensive concession, although they are a bit pricey. The concert schedules are extensive and varied. The orchestra does a nice mix of classic music and special events such as the orchestra playing movie soundtracks with the movies screened, Broadway and Pop concerts, all of which are great date or family events. The Rock, Country and Popular concerts will run a wide mix of styles usually featuring some of the biggest and hottest concert tours of the summer. The large stage has a couple of large video screens on either side that provide a better view including to those on the lawn. Sitting in the pavilion gives you a great view of the stage, wonderful sound, comfortable seats and protection from the weather. Seating on the lawn is more affordable and seating is pick your own spot with the vast majority of people on blankets or in low folding seats. There is a vendor where you can rent blankets or chairs or you can bring your own. I prefer the low chair, since it is more comfortable and gives you a better view. About the only downside of Blossom is the parking; getting in and out can be difficult and time consuming, although it has improved significantly over the years. General parking is free, there is paid in close parking available which makes for a better experience if you feel like paying extra. One workaround is if you ride a motorcycle you will be directed all the way around the parking and end up parking very close in. Depending on where you park you can have a bit of a walk. Also you need to be able to find your vehicle after the show; I would suggest using the GPS on your phone to mark the location where you parked, it will look different after dark. Over the last couple of years I have seen The Who, Sammy Hagar and the Doobie Brothers at Blossom and had a great time. I would highly recommend seeing any concert that interests you out at Blossom. If sitting on the lawn check the weather forecast and be prepared if there is a possibility of rain.

Yelp
I'm not going to put the entire blame on Live Nation, as this venue was probably horrible even before. I likely won't bring much new to the reviews, but driving 2 hours to get here I expected better. Prices are ridiculous but on par with most venues - I didn't have anything to eat to provide feedback on. If the show I went to wasn't oversold, I don't know what qualifies. The walk to the grass parking lots quite frankly, is not safe. You have decent odds of rolling your ankle, slipping off a hillside or being clipped by a rearview mirror. I would recommend coming to a symphony show or any event that isn't sold out. I was luckily on the pavilion seating as the sound in the lawn seemed horrible.

Yelp
My son bought tickets for me for Mother's Day to see Loverboy, REO Speed wagon and Styx. We arrived early. The weather was grey, a bit of thunder. A rain delay, but they assured us the concert would go on. We sat in our car. There was a golf cart of two people going up and down the aisle. They advised at 6:40 the gates would open at 7 ( versus 6:45). We grabbed our rain gear and seats and started toward the gate. The line was long. People went around on the parking lot side. Was tough to know where to go. It took over an hour to get in. Causing us to miss the first act. We'd brought a water a piece in a see through plastic bag. No purse or other bag. We had a tarp to put on the ground for our seats to be on. They said no blue tarps and kept it. There was nothing on the website or around the bag policy to advise no tarp. Once in, we did see people with navy tarps. Only light blue tarps not allowed perhaps. The music was awesome. The Venue even in the rain was just as I remembered years ago! Be aware no tarps and the ridiculous wait after a 15 minute weather delay.

Yelp
This place is a joke after my experience last night I will not be returning, got tickets for dave mathews for lawn seats as usual every year he comes tradition, was emailed about vip green room meet and greet seats for 80 more per person so as a surprise to my wife I got them for her, little did I know that was the worst decision I have ever made for this place, so we get there at 530 they have blocking fences up and won't let anyone go to the lawn which was odd, finally they open up at 635 to go to one stand to get the ticket scanned and wrist band we then go to the next stand to get in they say it's not here you have to go back to the first stand and ask them we go back they say no your good to go walk back down there with the lady who says oh I didn't know what the ticket was, um ok, they get told to go to the other side of the theater to another stand we go all the way across there the lady says you have to go up to the stand at the top to get the sticker, I'm getting beyond pissed, we go up there and the lady says your ticket has already been scanned im like yes by the lady who sent me here she goes oh um i dont know what to do, what the hell do you mean she goes well you have the wrist band and ti ket so we can just let you in, mind blown so now we have the sticker we hed over to the little back porch looking room its jam packed and they have cheese and lunch meat on a table with what i think were dyno nuggets not gonna lie made me laugh, we get in line thinking we get a drink it's 45 bucks for 2 beers and is now 745 and we hear the band come on the stage so no meet and greet no premium experience and now we have to find a spot on the lawn to watch the concert, very poor on the half of live Nation and blossom I spent 500 bucks for the worst experience iv ever had, thanks dave for putting on a great show and still keeping my wife happy after this bs, but after this recent event u will not be supporting live Nation or blossom events ever again, beware of the scam

Yelp
I have never been to this facility and had my doubts based on the photos. We were 2.4 miles away and was in a stand alone line for a good 45 minutes. When we arrived we parked immediately. What was absurd was the walk. It's literally a mile walk into the facility. It's not a good walk either. It's a rough terrain. I'd recommend wearing tennis shoes. I wore flip flops and damn that was dumb as shit. We arrived and damn lots of people. You can't see anything unless you are center of the stage. Sides are blocking from all angles and terrible views. Unless you walk near the front and they do have a standing location which isn't bad. Let's talk about the service. We have Verizon and all that I received is SOS. They need to have better service in the area. How in the hell can you do a Uber or Lyft with 0 service. The food and Drink location is everywhere but same ole drinks at any concert.

Yelp
Ugh, don't sit in the last row of the pavilion. The floor slants away the stage, and oh it's uncomfortable. The food choices are not great, maybe if we ate at the fancy restaurant here it would be better. We had Trejo's Tacos, they were so dry. And I left the pavilion to get ice cream, asked where to get it, came back with two cones in my hand and they still made me show them my ticket to get back to my seat and deliver the ice cream to my boyfriend. The parking is so far from the venue. At least the fourth time I left the pavilion and came back the lady recognized me...

Rachel H.

Yelp
Honestly I don't know why this any positive reviews at all. The artists being good at performing isn't relevant to the complete inept mismanagement of the venue. If you want to see anyone remotely popular, you should expect to spend WAY more time waiting to get into the parking lot than you will see them performing. And that is on top of the lengthy drive to get into the parking line as this place is no where within 20 miles of a highway. Add on another 30 minutes each to walk from and to your car and another at least another hour before the incompetent parking staff allow you to leave the parking structure. Sure I expect there is going to be some traffic but similar venues are nothing on this scale, as they have it set up here so both entrances have to drive around the entire venue and merge before parking (even though this merge / driving around is completely unnecessary), and wait for a person to walk you to your spot as slow as possible (since somehow this process confuses them). I don't have a lot of faith in my fellow drivers, but I think we can manage parking in general rows unsupervised versus having them get you perfectly parked which makes it take 10 times longer. Each time we go here, we drive past a dozen workers pretending to direct but they are literally standing their playing with their directing stick - sometimes in the middle of the road, slowing everything down even more. Definitely a management problem that these people are not trained at all. I personally suspect they don't bother to improve anything to be able to charge over $100 for less terrible parking. Although not sure your $100 parking even helps you get in any faster (but hear it is helpful to get out). On the way out they hold the GA people in the parking lot from leaving at the road until everyone from the VIP lot has exited (the public street I mean, which is paid for with our tax dollars). Also generally not enough bathrooms, I was at a show recently where they didn't even have all the restrooms open. The result of this combined with the parking situation - being that you see public urination EVERYWHERE- in the last hour waiting to get into the parking lot, I'd estimate that I have seen 20 people urinating in the woods and 2 in the middle of the street behind our car ( this isn't an exaggeration, I think it may have been more). Hard to blame people given the timeline to get in. It is a well built / beautiful venue, so I guess management has done a decent job not burning it to the ground - although perhaps that would be preferable so we can get an outdoor venue in Cleveland that doesn't suck. My god what a mess. For context, we have season lawn passes so this isn't just a single instance but reflective of many experiences. Tonight was particularly bad - with a final tally of 2 hours waiting in line to get into the parking lot (1 hour, 57 minutes to be exact, we timed it on our phone); and nearly 40 minutes to get out since we left partway through the show to "beat the traffic". So 2.5 hours to get into show that is 1 hour and 45 minutes long (since we missed both openers waiting to get into the parking lot). Based on where we live, we could have gotten up to Detroit to see a concert in the same amount of time it took us to get into the venue (since other similar venues are not nearly as bad as this one). Or we could have walked the last 4 miles in about half the time it took us to get in. Also will try to include some actual helpful tips - Wear comfortable shoes - it is about a mile walk each way from the parking lot -There is no cell service in the venue so I usually take a picture of anything I want to be able to access (like the set list if we are trying to get out early, the map on how to get home, etc.). The free wifi doesn't usually work. - We pack food and drinks to eat at the car before we go in. Given how crappy this place is run, I consider it a personal challenge to give them as little money as possible. - They let you bring factory sealed water bottles which we have done with no issues. They have also not really looked at them closely at all, so do with that what you will.

Yelp
Directing traffic into your venue needs ZERO stars .. having to purchase chairs when I have my own ZERO STARS ... no it's not a safety issue it's you making money .. every single venue I've been to this year other places I brought my own chair . I should NOT BE WAITING 20 minutes to go .2 miles because you have no one to direct traffic !

Yelp
I don't have to say much. It's already been written by plenty; just read the reviews. Every red-blooded patriot should boycott Blossom because it is an absolutely awful concert venue & the people of Ohio deserve way better!!! Especially with Cleveland being the supposed "Rock & Roll City" and the Cleveland Symphony supposedly one of the best in America why then such a lousy terribly executed place to hold concerts!?!? I'm not saying it doesn't have potential as the surroundings in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park are absolutely amazing, but someone with some brains needs to take over because Blossom should be burned down to the ground and completely re-thought! Including bringing it into the 21st century! Get rid of that dumb roof that blocks the view for so many, the terrible sound, the price-gouging, the hours long time wastes with the total clusterF--- parking & walking situations that Baby Boomers in 1970 probably didn't mind walking miles in UNSAFE conditions, but Boomers in the 2020s don't want to put up with it...and neither do Gen X, Millennials, & Gen Z either. What was fine for hippies often doesn't fly with hipsters...or those worried about breaking their hips! Should've learned these lessons already with Woodstock 1 vs. Woodstock 2. Oh, and hippies of any age HATE the place now too cause it's all corporate & price-gouging & at this point really should have WAAAAY better PUBLIC transportation options. Cars aren't cool anymore man! How much gas is burned for every concert at this place just to idle & idle speed "move" for HOURS! -But even back when internal combustion vehicles were cool, what did they have to do with NOT moving on 4 wheels for hours, and then having to walk on 2 legs for hours!? It's just awful. And while I've managed before, I don't go there now far more out of both principle and in protest, and also some measure of JUSTICE for ALLLLLLLL those people that Blossom Music Center makes suffer! Giving them your business at this point means you're a sucker doesn't mind paying 2070 prices for a 1970 rural county fair experience...with the associated rigged carnival games! Oh, & apparently you don't mind others suffering either. Curses on you then in our economy post 2008. That I'm sure few of the Owner/Donor class who own Blossom are "suffering"-with thousands of us rubes paying hundreds of dollars apiece night after night after night!

Yelp
Live Nation The new management at Blossom Music Center needs to be fired. I can't tell you how difficult they have made it to attend a concert. They no longer allow paper tickets in favor of electronic phone tickets which don't work while 10,000 fans are trying to get on line at the same time. I have needed help 2 out of 3 recent concerts, where I've missed part of the show while they sorted out my problem. It needs to be said that in neither case were they able to get my tickets on my IPhone, they just gave up and printed me paper tickets which I'd have preferred all along. This is a mess, I can't understand why this hasn't been abandoned yet. I can board an air plane with much less hassle. Live Nation is Messing up the concert experience. Please Please let's get rid of these idiots.

Yelp
Customers bought a premier parking pass with tax for about $100 online. As we pull into the venue, they make us stop at the guard shack and whack them for another $80 for oversized limo parking?????? $180 to park for concert that wasnt even sold out? Comon! The cash grabs gotta stop! Why weren't they just charged the difference? They COULD of swapped out the pass from the premier to an oversized vehicle pass. But no...... GREED GREED GREED.......Cant stand this venue.......Buyers beware.

Yelp
Parking is horrendous. Stopped letting people bring their own chairs and then raised the rental price from $5 to $15. WiFi is really bad if you are lucky enough to connect. Food choices and quality are atrocious. Don't waste your time going to a concert here.

Yelp
First concert at Blossom in a long time for me! What an awesome show. The staff were all very pleasant. The acoustics are awesome there. The Wi-Fi under the pavilion is clutch!! I really appreciate the not plastic and recycling throughout the venue. A very fun atmosphere, a great concert venue. Will be returning for me!

Yelp
you need to update your website if beach chairs are no longer allowed. in a shitty economy, give us a break instead of renting a chair. also, your parking attendants need training if we are asked to move from a spot that you put another car at, that we just moved from one minute earlier. ridiculous. we will go to burgettstown going forward for a concert.

Yelp
We came for the Sammy Hagar show on Thursday night and had a blast. There is a picnic area with portapotties outside the gate for tailgating (not allowed in the parking lot). You are allowed to take sealed or empty bottles of water inside whee there are filling stations. My spoiled girl rant: The parking was a bit confusing since we had special passes, and then had to walk a bit to get our wrist bands for the VIP area that we paid extra for. There are no cup holders in pavillion seats. Great concert venue!

Yelp
I have been going to amphitheater shows for about ten years now, and Blossom is one of the worst I've ever been to. I do not suggest anyone come to the venue unless you're a diehard fan of the musician. My best friend and I traveled 2+ hours to Blossom for Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill reunion tour. This show was beyond subpar. First, we walked over a mile from our parking spot to the gates. I know amp parking is usually a nice walk from the venue, but this was a lot. You also cannot upgrade parking the day of- I would have paid to upgrade to VIP or something. The parking fields have a very limited number of porta johns as well. We were told low chairs below a certain height were allowed. We opted to bring outdoor blankets instead of beach chairs and I'm glad we did; on the walk in, we passed SO many people walking BACK to their cars to return their beach chairs since they were too high. Prices are high, which is as expected for a concert. Thanks Live Nation; two domestic beers were over $30. Didn't even look at food. I do appreciate that they let you bring a sealed water bottle in. What's with the clear bag thing everywhere? It's annoying. If you're going to make people walk through metal detectors and be searched twice, I should be allowed to bring a drawstring bag inside. Now for the concert itself. First of all, the lawn is small in relation to the number of tickets they sell. I've never seen a lawn so packed with people ever. No room to move around at all. The sound quality here SUCKS if you're on the lawn. We were in the back of the lawn and there are trees up there obstructing your view, and we could hardly hear the concert. We tried walking down the walkway closer to where the seats where, but we were dismissed by security from standing on the concrete and were told we had to be "on the lawn." We ended up leaving early since we couldn't really hear. Luckily, that saved us from the nightmare traffic upon exiting. This place needs some serious upgrades for the price of tickets. I wouldn't pay $30 to see a show here with the way it is now. The Cleveland area deserves a better place for live music with equipment from this century.

Yelp
CONS: I've been going to blossom music center since the 80s and back then to this very day in 2022 the sound system is horrible. They should just knock the entire place down and start over or give us another venue in Cleveland doe those that truly appreciate good music, where you can hear the actual lyrics and not a bunch of mumbling. There were 4 different bands in attendance and every band produced the same issues, you couldn't hear the lyrics - just bunch of mumbling. Also, There's no way to actually get a hold of a real human being at blossom music center. They only communicate via Ticketmaster or live nation. PROS: The one thing that blossom did do EXTREMELY well is the restroom traffic. I was at a music festival with tons of people and I never had to wait one for the bathroom and I was there all day. The bathrooms are extremely Clean. FINAL THOUGHT: $22 drink prices + a terrible sound system = Not worth it. Stay home and watch YouTube instead.

Yelp
Traveled here for a Halsey concert and we absolutely loved this venue. We got seats in the pavilion. The pavilion itself is beautiful and the music sounded great. Parking is a nightmare getting out but just prepare for that and everything will be great.

Yelp
The Blossom Music Center is located in picturesque Cuyahoga Valley National Park about 30 minutes south of Cleveland, Ohio and two hours north of Columbus, Ohio. It is the summer home of the Cleveland Orchestra considered one of the 5 best orchestras in the U.S..Beside being a venue for Beethoven's 4th piano concerto and 9th symphony, Blossom Music Center also holds rock, country and other concerts. Last weekend" Nine Inch Nails" performed to a crowd of about 20,000. The concert area is in the shape of a semi-circular hillside amphitheater with pavilion seating for 6,000. The pavilion seating affords protection from the rain, a great view of the stage and comfortable seats. If you sat in row 20, it would have cost you $160 for the "Nine Inch Nails" concert. There is a lawn area which holds 15,000 and it gets very crowded. Acoustics on the lawn area can be a problem. Bring a lawn blanket or low chair. Beach chairs are too high. Security does not allow you to move from a lawn seat to a pavilion seat. A large video screen on each side of the stage helps those who have a lawn seat. The food and drink policy for the symphony allows food, beverages and even wine. Concession stands at the music center are pricey. Cash is accepted only at the food stands. I have not seen these kind of prices since Yankee Stadium. The policy for other concerts does not allow for food or drink except for a bottle of water and one clear bag for food. At the security gate the check-in is serious. Parking is mainly in a field with free general parking. From the parking area to the stage is about a 20 minute walk to the security gate. Getting out of the parking area and onto a major highway after the concert can be an hour plus. There are a few porta johns.

Yelp
We went for the Cleveland Orchestra's LOTR concert and had a wonderful time. The venue is beautiful. Parking was easy and quick thanks to all the people directing traffic. There is a gravel walkway from the furthest parking lot, so if you can't handle that I'd recommend getting there a little early. There are also trams that take you right from the parking lots to security! Leaving the venue was easy too, which was great cause we were tired from the concert.

Yelp
I've always wanted to go to Blossom since I grew up in Berea in the 70's, but I'm sad to report that I was disappointed. Visually the center is beautiful, with the richly designed and constructed theater, but a few points cut my desired expectations down to size. Food and drink prices fell into the realm of Price Gouging--- to the point of actual definition: prices at a level much higher than is considered reasonable or fair. Sound design: I considered the volume to be excessively high, to the point where it could be damaging to ANYONE'S hearing. The high and mid level frequencies were mixed well---but, I was very surprised to find the bass frequencies muddy: too much going on in the 200-400 hz frequency range - resulting in a loss of low-end definition. On a positive note the video quality and coverage was close to excellent. But a lemon-aid at $10.00 ....come on people?

Yelp
If I didn't know better I would have thought Blossom had never dealt with a concert before. That is how bad things were. No traffic control so you will sit in traffic for an hour trying to get to the venue. So even if you think you left early enough, you didn't. Employees don't seem to know what they are doing or don't care and are just doing whatever. I'm surprised people don't get run over all the time with the lack of walking paths for parking to gate. Inside the venue the bathrooms don't work half the time. There isn't clear signage on where you are going. It is just a mess. I would highly recommend going to a different venue if it is an option for you.

Terri L.

Yelp
It's a mess. Very unorganized and impossible to get in and out of efficiently. They have to do better.

Sandy B.

Yelp
Worst concern experience ever. The people Live Nation hires to manage the facility are CLUELESS. Had a wheelchair with us and were put in one of the furthest lots from the gate. When we asked how were were supposed to get to the entrance we were told to get him over the grass hill and travel down the street with the cars!!!! Really!! I'm pretty sure the concert was oversold as people were even behind the vendors at the top of the hill. NO signage and no one knew where to guide us back to our lot. No issue with the performance but WILL NOT attend anything here again. Music Center, Cleveland Orchestra, and Live Nation should be ashamed of this treatment.

Nicole C.

Yelp
Very disappointed by the venue & access to the venue. It took 2.5 hours to drive the last mile into the parking lots. Once we arrived (1.5 hours after the concert start time), since the lawn was so full, we had to sit all the way at the top, which usually I don't mind at similar venues, but this one has TERRIBLE sound and we was unable to hear half of the concert. I visit a lot of music venues each year, multiple outdoor amphitheaters (Camden, Hartford CT, Pine Knob, etc), this has by far been the worst experience I've ever had. I know there probably isn't a remedy to the entrance issue, but I would highly recommend updating the speakers for the lawn.

Yelp
Alright, this review is long overdue. While all of the complaints on here about parking are unfortunately true, seeing a concert at a venue like this is a truly awesome experience. It's a great amphitheater sitting right near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. What could be better?! Here's the deal: you just have to really be prepared to either leave before the encore of your concert or sit in traffic for over an hour waiting to get out of the lot. Pro Tip: put on your walking shoes and park in the lot closest to the street/entry.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Saw Chris Stapleton. well we listened. no way can you see the band unless you sit right in the middle of the lawn. no monitors and the stage is blocked by the sloping roof. The worst part is the 2 hr line of cars just to get into the venue. be there no later than 5 to avoid the traffic. I would never go back.

Yelp
Poorly run, putting patrons in danger. We had turned up after a 2 hour drive, being aware of the forecast for storms, just hoping it might turn out otherwise (midwest weather being as unpredictable as it was). When it started raining at 6.30pm or so, people were told to stay in their cars. This would be one of only 2 or so sparse communications. Attempts to talk to the young staff were ignored - too busy driving around looking important in their golf cart apparently, and much confusion ensued. Shortly after, torrential rain started, along with close by thunder and lightening. The venue was eventually opened, with no real explanation. I would learn later that they had in fact consulted local weather forecasts and come to a different conclusion about what would happen with the weather than was obvious to everyone else from the forecast. But this rationale was not communicated to anyone at the time. At that point, we had to leave, as obviously the situation was overly dangerous - rain is one thing, but I don't need my family struck by lightening - which would incidentally continue for another hour after they opened. So, shame on BMC for poor communication, shame on them for putting people in danger and shame on them for bad organization and shame on them for putting profit over anything else. Yes, I understand that the tickets are "rain or shine", but to stretch that to a dangerous situation due to lightening is disingenuous. And then as a kicker, I understand that our seats were given away anyway, to people who would have been on the lawn. Sorry, you don't get to have your cake and eat it too. I have reached out to LiveNation/BMC center for a credit, but have been rebuffed and ignored. I certainly won't be going back to this location, and will be very hesitant about using LiveNation again for anything.

Yelp
We went to see Tears For Fears this past weekend. They delayed the start of the concert for over an hour because of weather, which hadn't arrived yet. Had they let everyone in, none of us would've gotten soaking wet in the torrential downpour that came right after letting everyone in. Nobody made it to their seats before it started raining hard. People were running to get to the pavilion, unfortunately I use a walker and I'm also on oxygen, so there's no running for me. By the time we got to our seats, I was completely out of breath and soaked to the bone. Everyone was very accommodating, but I'm just going to say that this venue isn't disability friendly. If you have a motorized scooter you'll be fine. But if you have breathing or walking problems, I wouldn't go here. It's a long distance from where you park (even close handicapped parking) to the pavilion where you sit down. Very steep hills, that I barely made it to. I actually wanted to turn around and go back to the car. In order to go to the bathroom, you had to show your ticket. My husband had to take my phone every time he went to the bathroom. Really ridiculous. We were already in. Use wristbands or stamps if there's a problem. Beer was $17 a glass! Seventeen! WTF?!! Really outrageous. I had to find an employee with a golf cart to get back to the parking lot. There was no way I could make it back. I wanted to love this place, but because of it being so difficult to manage with my disabilities, I won't be back. Also, there's no reason to rip people off on beer prices.

Yelp
Really large lawn seat area where you can lay out blankets and low lawn seats. You are able to bring in food and drinks - they do take a look through your bags before entering. We went for the Lord of the Rings show with the Cleveland Orchestra which was lovely! Lots of shade available in the back of the lawn area. Food trucks are there during events. There are real restrooms that are pretty clean. Parking could be more clearly marked though since we had trouble finding our car. They only mark the Lot (A, B, etc) but no row numbers/letters.

Yelp
You should only come here if it's for an artist you REALLY want to see. Don't come as a casual listener. You will be walking a mile from the parking lot to the venue, and getting out of the parking lot is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Prepare to wait an hour with no movement.
