My boyfriend and I sat on the patio, and it was nice and quiet for a Sunday afternoon. The outside atmosphere was very relaxing, and our server was attentive throughout our visit. The food was good, and this was actually our second time here—it lived up to our first experience. We would definitely come back!

Okay not one to give 'negative ' reviews but this really made me cringe. It's a blatant disregard for good customer service and this is coming from somebody who owns a small business in the area. I ordered the shrimp mediterranean salad...I don't eat shrimp but I liked that this salad had pie nuts in it. So I asked if I could get it with chicken....sure.... salad came all good, I start eating and notice no pie nuts, ask the waitress, she comes back with 'sorry didn't have any' okay no biggie I continued to eat. I asked for a bit more feta cheese... sure... all good. Bill comes and they charged me 3 bucks for the feta. I asked where's my credit for the pie nuts, they don't give credits. To find out they haven't had pie nuts in a long time but it's on the menu... I'm okay with paying extra for extras that I ask for, but when you don't advise the customer that you no longer have an item BEFORE serving, I think there should be some leeway. No manager site The guy who addressed me didn't see my side and just keep saying we haven't had those nuts in a long time, you have to pay the extra for the feta.... I paid the bill in full tipping over the top and told the hostess to tell the owner they lost 2 clients.

Must go here if you are muslim! The food was delicious (we got the lamb & beef kabeb) & you truly forget you’re inside willowbrook! Our waiter Fatih was very kind & attentive! will return :)

I feel like this place is a missed opportunity. The food is great, you can’t beat the prices and the staff is wonderful… but the atmosphere leaves something to be desired. The indoor space specifically is so cold, bland and uninviting. I feel like putting something, anything on the walls would go a long way. My wife and I generally do take-out from here and would happily dine-in more often if the atmosphere was more warm, cozy and inviting.

My hubby loves Mediterranean food, and the fact that this is located in the mall was very convenient after a day of shopping. The moment we arrived the ambiance was so appealing and relaxing. We ordered the lamb and beef kebab and they were cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, my favorite were the well seasoned mushrooms, I honestly wish they served more of it!!! Our server Ali helped us w the menu selection and was pleasant, attentive and very charismatic. We are very happy we decided to dine here, it was a delightful experience!!! 1st experience here and I liked the small plates. I was looking for something different decided to go elsewhere for dinner. But the appetizers, ice tea, and water was good. They did not have the blood orange tea though. The cherry BBQ sauce wings were decent as were the steamers. Pricing was alright. The outdoor seating was nicer with some lights.

A nice, casual sit down and dine restaurant in New City. The ambience is really nice, and the outdoor seating is spacious. The night lighting is also quite beautiful. The food is decent. Some of it can be bland, like the shrimp scampi pasta, but for the price everything there is decent. The staff are also attentive with water refills and the service is fast. Would recommend for a nice dinner if you're in New City!

This place used to be a lot better. Some ingredients are missing when you order takeout. I ordered a salad that was supposed to come with pine nuts and olives. And this is not the first time. All I got was 2 olives and no pine nuts. Very disappointed.

Reunion with my girlfriends and we found this place. Food and service was fantastic! Definitely the place to hang and catch up to nosh on good food. Will be back the next time I'm in town!

Never a bad meal at Blu Fig! I'm an nyc gal and whenever I visit my friends in tarrytown we go here. The prices are unbeatable! The pizza and sandwiches are the best but today I opted for the chicken entree and the whole thing was good but the rice was above and beyond! Best place!

My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday evening and it was nearly completely empty. We were greeted immediately upon entry, but overall the place just looked sad and smelled of disinfectant. Some other reviewers mention the same, but the empty restaurant plus the lack of decor and the super old flat screen on the wall really just made it feel like a cafeteria. We didn't want entres, so we ordered pizza and starters to share. We had coconut shrimp, Imam Bayaldi, Spanakopita, and a bianco personal pie. The imam bayaldi (baby eggplant) was good. The eggplant was super tender. The pizza was just ok. The description of this pizza included roasted tomatoes. The tomatoes on this pie were fresh cut and cooked on top of the pizza. Not really the same thing in my opinion. The Spanakopita and coconut shrimp were pretty good Service was attentive and friendly. Despite all the positive reviews from people we know in the area, our experience lackluster and we probably will not return.

My cousin and I stopped by Blu Fig for dinner. Upon entry we were greeted and directed to a table. At first glance the dining room doesn't really seem appealing aesthetically speaking. It was clean but the decor was lacking. A super basic set up. The server came over and greeted us, took our drink order and gave us time to review the menu. We decided on calamari for our appetizer and I ordered chicken parm for my entree. The chicken parm normally comes with spaghetti but I asked for linguini instead and they were able to accommodate me. The calamari was seasoned well and fried to perfection. My entree was by far the star of the show. They topped the dish with fresh mozzarella, the chicken was seasoned well and they had just the right amount of sauce in the entree. The meal was all around tasty. The portion and price was right. I will certainly be back.

Tried calling to order but was hung up on 3 times and then put on hold the last (no one said anything just straight to a hold line). terrible service, don't put a line to call in takeout if no one is going to help

Went back for lunch with a friend. The service was good. Still love the fried zucchini chips! The salad was delicious too, perfect size for lunch. Venue has beautiful natural light with one whole wall being glass overlooking their private patio. Glad to come back.

I enjoyed a nice lunch this afternoon at Blu Fig. The establishment is relatively spacious; it has lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The place is clean and well maintained. The decor is simple and very low key. I went during the day and sat outside which was decorated plain as well. A recommendation I have is to change the outdoor seats; the metal seat is uncomfortable and it sinks so far back that you're far away from the table making it hard to eat, so you really have to scoot up all the way to the front of your seat. Ambience rate 7/10. My boyfriend and I ordered the... 1. Hummus and Tzatziki Spreads with Pita Bread as an appetizer: Both spreads tasted like your basic greek spreads, nothing special. However, they do give a good amount of pita bread and spread for both. But I wouldn't say it's worth $7 each, maybe $5 at most. Rate 6/10. 2. Portabella Ciabatta Sandwich: The pesto flavor they use is the best pesto I've ever tasted. You can tell that it is definitely home made. It pairs very nicely with the melted mozzarella cheese and yummy mushrooms. Rate 10/10. 3. Buffalo Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich: The chicken was delicious, crunchy, and plentiful. The gorgonzola cheese made the sandwich very flavorful. The buffalo sauce was just average, nothing special. The overall sandwich was good, but I've tasted better buffalo chicken before. Rate 8.5/10. *The ciabatta bread used for the sandwiches is the best part. The bread is perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and such a generous portion which leaves me satisfied. *The side salad they include in their sandwich dishes is alright, it's just lettuce with balsamic dressing, nothing special. The prices for their sandwiches are very fair ($12) considering the big portion size and how good the food tastes. The staff were nice and the service was moderately fast. Service rate 9/10. Overall, Blu Fig is a great casual restaurant for friends and family!

I've been hearing amazing things about this place over the years and it was just meh. First the decor: it is the restaurant equivalent of a young dude in his first apartment where all he has is a futon for a couch, a cheap table, and nothing on the walls. In other words VERY sparse and uninviting. Food was fine. I had a good eggplant appetizer. Friend and I shared the vodka pizza. It was tasty but the description said it had prosciutto. It was literally about 10 tiny cubes of prosciutto. I tried a friend's zucchini chips and they were tasty. The one positive is that it was dirt cheap. Most likely will not be back.

worst service ever! I called and asked one question and got a nasty snarky response after waiting on hold for over 10 minutes. Will not be coming back here ever even if the food is good lost my business..

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Rockland County. Always great service and delicious food. They have a great outdoor area that is great when the weather is nice. We were there recently for a late lunch. We started with fried zucchini chips, which are always delicious. We shared the Greek salad, which was great. We also shared a mushroom flat bread, which is scrumptious. You can also get great beer as one of the associated restaurants is the District 96 micro brewery, which makes excellent beer. As always, the service was excellent. The weather was nice, so we are able to sit on the outside patio to enjoy our meal. Can't say enough about this place. I am so glad they are here.

Giving Blu Fig an aspirational 4 stars! Picked up lunch for 5. Service was attentive and pleasant. Restaurant itself was busy for lunch. Fried calamari was very pale, but surpringly crispy and tasty. Not much after the initial crunch though. While I enjoyed it, there was no moisture or chew to 90% of the calamari. My pulled pork sandwich, while a bit dry, was tasty. Bread to pork ratio was way off. What seemed like house-made focaccia was good but way too much of it for the amount of pulled pork. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Always such a staple when in New City. Can't go wrong with any of their salads (my favorite is the strawberry chicken salad.) My go-to order is the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce subbed instead of tomato. I've yet to find a better vodka sauce than at Blu Fig!

After 15 years of being a loyal customer at Blu Fig New City WE ARE DONE!! They got our order incorrect and we kindly asked that they replace the wrong item with a corrected one or to give us a credit for the wrong charge. We spoke with the female manager, she REFUSED, SCREAMED at us, and told us we were LIARS. When we reminded them that we were long time customers who live in the community, she HUNG UP ON US!! DO NOT PATRONIZE !!!!

Food is great but the service is awful. The restaurant also needs some TLC. We keep going back because we love their food and prices.

Outside seating was nicer we thought than inside. Great on a sunny day. Chicken was tender and soup wasn't salty. Pulled pork sammy was ok. Bread to park ratio was average. Service was a bit lacking, but where isn't it these days. Had to flag them down about three times.

The wings were good but everything else was VERY greasy, and table service was poor. One of the dishes we had was eggplant, and zucchini chips. Very greasy, and both tasted as though they were fried in the same oil. The waiter was polite but after he took our orders, he disappeared. The ladies in this place are doing everything while the male waiters are standing around, talking to each other, and not paying attention to their tables and the customers they took food orders from. No water refills without calling them over after you've waited awhile. It took over 10 minutes for someone to go to another table where a kid was trying to get his waiters attention. It wasn't just my table. If you like very good food, and service this IS NOT the place to go. Do better Blu Fig.

We came with some friends for lunch. When we showed up it was pretty empty. As the time went on it started filling up. It was a spacious area plus there was outdoor seating. The waiter was friendly as they seated us. There were 9 of us and they quickly pulled some tables together. I have been put on a low sodium diet. I asked for the grilled chicken to be prepared with no salt over an arugula and strawberry salad with the feta cheese and dressing on the side. My friends got the tilapia with rice and vegetables (they have the mash potatoes for dinner only). My husband and daughter split a large sausage pizza. My friend's kids split a large Margherita pizza. Everything was delicious. My friends praised their tilapia. They said it was well seasoned and very moist. The kids polished off their pizza. My friend said they use the fresh mozzarella. The crust was thin and crispy. They were very accommodating with the kids, giving them cups with lids. They were willing to alter the menu to suit my needs.

We been here a few times. Good is usually good. Today we came here to eat and it wasn't as good as I remembered it. I tend to over order things. We got the family size margarita pizza, zucchini chips, crab cake, 2 salads, and 3 sodas. The wait staff and server were very friendly. As for the food, do not order the crab cake, totally not worth $11. It was a little mushy and does not taste freshly made. The pizza could have more cheese and the crust kind of fell apart. The cheese did not break away from the pizza, the whole cheese on the slice would literally just fall off the pizza. Not the melty yummy way. My kids either way liked the sauce on it. The salads are usually good so nothing much to say about it. Not sure why but today it wasn't anything special. I'm usually very impressed by it. Zucchini chips were very good. The decor of the place is simple and they have a nice outside sitting area. The bathrooms does need a little bit of a facelift. They were clean but had flies flying around. I would come back here as it is a nice scenery and food is pretty good. Maybe it was an off day today.

Overall it was good! We did outdoor sitting and the service was great. Recommended place for Italian food.

Don't know what happened to their once great margarita pizza, but this ain't it! Tasted more like cardboard with sauce and a shinzy bit of cheese and basil: Super disappointed, as will be my daughter who specifically asked for it as she comes home from Florida... I only gave it 2 stars for the nice staff member. Will not be back!

I have eaten at the Blue Fig for over eight years. Love their food love & their servers. Take out is a problem. This is the fourth time over the year that I have ordered. My food and part of the order is not there. I called up, spoke to the manager and he said they were training a new woman and unfortunately, this just happens. I said to him, no I'm a customer I paid full price. I expect to receive what I paid for. He was dismissive and if the owner is listening to this, I would love for you to give me a call. because this happens quite a bit not not sure if people complain about it, but I am a loyal customer who is probably not going to because the manager was so dismissive and rude. Food is a solid 4. Manager is a 1.

A solid Greek/Italiano hybrid that does a very good job of covering all the bases whether you're craving a pizza or a kebab and can't decide whether the mighty Caesar or Lord Hummus will answer your pre-entrée cravings. All were well prepared, tasty and worthy of a return if I lived a bit closer. Service was bit scattered and slowish but as we are reminded everyday in the new restaurant normal - patience is a virtue. And besides, as long the food is delivered at the right temperature, I'm good. Four very Tru stars for New City's Blu Fig.

Very great food love their pizza and pene vodka with chicken , service is great all of the time. Ambiance , also great felt so classy for such great prices.

It used to be nice. However now it's like walking into a funeral home converted into a restaurant. The staff are the undertakers with very little emotion and the food is like being served stale finger sandwiches just because. There is no decor and everything smells of a decaying once homey and livable place. Our waitress literally served us showing no interest in our attendance and halfway through the meal went outside to sit down and eat while leaving us to another server never to be seen again. Can you say "nothingness" because that's exactly what we experienced there.

Great food. Love the chicken skewers and strawberry salad. This is a regular place for us in that we order from here at least 2/3 times a month.

I've been to Blu Fig plenty of times since it first opened, but last night I went back for the first time in years and I really enjoyed my food. The imam bayaldi appetizer is delicious, and my chicken kebob meal was filling, healthy, and tasty (plenty of leftovers.) My parents had the coconut shrimp and the penne vodka (added chicken) and they loved everything (my mother is hard to please.) The prices are hard to beat and our server was great. Overall a great experience. Will be back soon!

The pizza is absolutely fantastic & the vibe is great too! Outdoor seating is in the cut under nice foliage and secluded from the street. Plenty of parking in the street and parking lot as well. Pricing is fair and plenty of options to choose from as far food goes. The reason I wouldn't give this establishment 5 stars is due to slow service. I've been there a few times and usually need to wait about 15 minutes just to have someone take my order. Seem to be short staffed.

Worth the wait In our case, the wait was months. My wife had picked out this restaurant on our last visit to the area, but we never made it. On this trip, we made it last night. When we walked in it was already busy and we scored one of the last open tables. We were seated and given menus but didn't see our server for a noticeably long time. I was concerned this visit was not going to go as well as I had hoped, but I needn't have worried. Once we got connected service went very well, I liked the guy, and the pace of the food was good. The short delay at the start simply gave us time to work through the menu. They offer a nice selection of items, everyone got something different and everyone not only liked their food but were also impressed with the amount of food for the cost. As for me, I had their Penne Vodka. My entrée had plenty of penne noodles, as you can see in the photo. I've had better sauces in the past, but the sauce last night was a nice mild no problem sauce. No complaints here. As we were walking out there were lots of people waiting in the entrance area for tables. Popular places are often good places, which is the case for Blu Fig. It was worth the wait for us to finally visit and hopefully worth the wait for those looking to be seated as we left.

Absolutely terrible food, super oily and not made well at all. Got the chicken pasta and the chicken ciabatta sandwich. The side salad is literally just lettuce and balsamic vin. , no cucumbers or tomatoes added. It's like eating grass. I still feel super sick the next day, super oily food for something that promotes it to be "healthy". Will not be returning. Paid 50$ to feel super nauseous and dissatisfied. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

This place needs a hug. It's basically like eating at a diner, with far less capable food. Yeah, it's cheap... but...totally passionless, Pros: zucchini chips, cheap wine.

Good news that food at lunch was good. The bad news was the service sucks. Sat at a table for 10 minutes before anyone come over for a drink order while 4 young people acted like children at the front joking looking at their phones and had some kind of wrestling going on.After the food came the server was never seen again. This is such a nice spot if you're looking for a casual lunch or dinner. There's an outdoor seating which is super nice and well lit. During lunch, you can seat yourself and order at the counter which is super convenient. The margherita pizza is delicious. If you're a buffalo chicken fan, I definitely recommend the buffalo chicken sandwich. The ciabatta and bleu cheese that comes with it is delicious! The prices are pretty average, nothing too crazy.

I used to love coming to blu fig, it was my go to place to eat. I came here this week and was frustrated and left feeling like it was no longer the place I remember it to be. Within the last year I've had to eat gluten free. I've eaten at many places and none were as unknowledgeable as my server at Blu Fig. I asked what on the menu could be eaten gluten free and if they had any gluten free substitutes and the waitress just responded "oh I don't know" she didn't offer to ask the kitchen or more knowledgeable wait staff. She spent most of her time talking to the table next to us and barley checked on us or was around to even ask for a drink refill. Granted our server was a teen, but still, the staff should train her better or at least teach her how to handle food sensitivities or allergies. I was very disappointed because I had no clue what I could eat. I didn't enjoy my experience like I used to.

Found this spot randomly driving through this area and so glad we found it! Prices are SO reasonable, you get a decent amount of food for such a great price- and it's great food! We got the sesame tuna and zucchini chips. Then split chicken kebobs with rice and veggies. Zucchini chips were really light too which I loved. I'm a hugeeee sushi finatic and am really picky with fish and what places I get it from- so I can honestly say the sesame tuna app blew me away. Will definitely come here again!

I ordered the Chicken pasta dish for take out and I have to say it was the worst dish I've ever had. It had zero taste what so ever. Very bland and no flavor. I'll never go here again

The food was very good. I had the tuna arugula salad, delicious! My husband got pizza. Yum! It was a bit over priced for the environment. Good food, fast food environment.

Probably the most underrated restaurant in Rockland. The pizza is good, the chicken parm is good, the fried zucchini chips are good, the Calamari is good, the Salmon is good. All in all a very good place to grab some dinner.

Blue Fig is just consistently a great restaurant. I am never disappointed. The menu has variety, service is always good and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend the tomato soup, zucchini crisps, all salads, pizza, chicken kabobs, and spanakopita.

Food is great. Delivers fast! I ordered Mediterranean shrimp with spread hummus and freshly squeezed lemonade. Shrimp entree is also fantastic!

I ordered pizza and chicken parm!! Pizza flavoring is very good but cheese was all over the place though unfortunately. But chicken parm and pasta are in some serious need of seasoning! This has happened a lot recently :/

Popped in here last night to pick up take out for myself and a girlfriend. Had never been before but had been hearing about it for years. We got an assortment of things: Tzatziki, Hummus, Roasted Beets, a pizza and she got Chicken parm and chicken pasta. The presentation of everything was pretty great. Didn't love the hummus or tzatziki as they were both not as flavorful as I hoped. The beets were tasty but served cold when I expected them to be hot. The pizza was excellent - I went for the Vodka one. Vodka sauce and prosciutto! Very tasty. My friend thoroughly enjoyed her chicken parm and the chicken pasta. Had also ordered the zucchini chips but they were apparently out. Will definitely try to get those next time.

Always one of our go to place to eat. They made a nice arrangement post Covid to serve the community Can't go wrong with the food.

Last night I went to Blu Fig with my two girlfriends. I've been there in the past and had a great experience as far as I can remember. Last night I ordered the Mediterranean Shrimp Salad and two of the main ingredients were left out. One of which was the reason why I ordered the dish. If you don't have all the ingredients for a dish you should tell the customer so that they have an opportunity to order something different. I hate it when restaurants serve you a dish that is missing ingredients and hope you don't notice. The service that we had on the other hand was excellent. I unfortunately won't be going back though because of the dish I was served.

Ive been a Blue Fig fan for years! It's always my go to spot when I'm in Rockland because of the causal atmosphere and they have something for everyone on their menu. I would recommend their pizzas and salads. Usually I end up ordering a pizza to share and one of their salads. Their pizzas are all thin crust and delicious, you really can't go wrong with any of them. My favorite is the vodka prosciutto pizza- the sauce is to die for! All of their salads are crisp and generously portioned. I always go for the mediterranean shrimp salad. It comes on a bed of romaine lettuce, topped with grilled jumbo shrimp, red peppers, thinly sliced onion, pine nuts, sprinkled feta cheese, and served with a delicious balsamic vinaigrette. It's so yummy! I can't recommend this place enough, can't wait to go back!

7.5/10 I went there for the first time with a few of my friends. It's a cute set up but we were sitting close to the door and everytime someone opened the door we got a chill it's a cute place t just g a grab a bite. Food wise i had the penne and it looked like soup they had to much sauce :( the buffalo wings are great but what it comes down too is us sitting close to the door so maybe as soon as someone came in and out our food got pretty cold fast. Overall seating could be different in there and not but as much sauce. Would I go again? Yes

My family and usually I pick up food from here rather than eat in, but we have sat in a few times. The restaurant is situated in a pretty convenient location, with lots of parking in a huge lot. The place itself is pretty spacious with indoor and outdoor seating which is super nice during the summer). Our favorite thing to order from here is their Vodka Pizza- it's just the right amount of creamy and savory when it hits your mouth. Their wings are also pretty good- not overly saucy like some buffalo wings tend to be. The Buffalo Chicken Salad you can never go wrong with. A few things that could use a bit more flavoring in my opinion would be the Zucchini Chips and Calamari. The calamari has a bit of a rubbery feel to me when you chew it. But the tzatziki that comes with the zucchini chips is very nice- cool and refreshing. I'm one to trust in the pizzas from this place above all else. Those absolutely never disappoint.
