Overall: 4.2/5 - very impressed with this place. Came here for a Winterlicious and it was better than expected for a decent price. I’d come back. Food - 4.2.5 Buratta salad 3.5/5 - I had a bit higher of expectations for this but it wasn’t bad. Just not the best buratta I’ve had and didn’t feel like there was much of it Salmon - 4/5 - the salmon was a nice large piece, filling, and really tasty! I enjoyed my meal. Shrimp risotto (not pictured) - 4.2/5 - this was really tasty and something I’d come back for. Enjoyed every bite; was subtle but flavourful. Pistachio tiramisu - 4.5/5 - this was excellent. So fluffy and light but the flavour was amazing. I would come here to get this again Ambiance - 5/5 - again, for the price, this place was really good and the ambiance was so upscale Service - 5/5 - some of the most high quality service.. stuff you’d get at the most fine dining restaurant. I’d recommend this to friends and family for the overall value.

We booked Blu’s private dining room for an intimate dinner celebration after our City Hall wedding, and it was everything we had hoped for and more. The entire experience was seamless from start to finish. A special thank you to Kamila, the event coordinator, who was incredibly thorough, responsive, and organized. She answered all of our questions promptly and made sure every detail was perfectly arranged. From menu selection to customizing the setup and allowing us to decorate the table, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. We chose a three-course meal, beautifully plated for each guest, and every dish was spectacular. Our personal favorites were the spinach ricotta chicken, beef tenderloin and the roasted pear with honey crumble dessert — absolutely delicious! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed every course. The service was exceptional as well. A big shoutout to Nasir for taking such great care of our guests, providing attentive and efficient service, and ensuring the evening ran flawlessly. We highly recommend Blu for private dining events — they truly made our celebration unforgettable!

Blu Ristorante on King Street offers a calm, quiet atmosphere that is ideal if you want a relaxed dinner without excessive noise. The setting makes it easy to enjoy conversation and take your time with the meal. The risotto was cooked perfectly, not overdone, and well seasoned. Dessert was a highlight as well. The tiramisu was excellent and moist, not dry at all. Overall, it was a solid dining experience with well executed food in a peaceful setting.

my friends and I ate at Blu during Winterlicious this year and it is a great restaurant choice to try some things on the menu at a higher end restaurant. I don’t know if I would go back for a regular dinner, but that doesn’t mean that our meal wasn’t up to par. Most of us got the Burrata and Beet salad appetizer which we were mostly pleased with, there was only a quarter slice of burrata and the big chunks of heirloom tomatoes overtook the salad, but the beet vinaigrette was great! We also shared the mushroom arancini and that was definitely a highlight! The salmon was very generously portioned along with the butternut squash purée. The chicken involtini was not anything very special, but the piperte sauce was very well done! The pear, crème anglaise dessert was a hit at our table. The combo of this dessert dish was very well thought out. Our server for the night was Don. He was super kind and very witty! He did his best to accommodate for our friend who could not have anything with heavy acid. He was able to modify her drink as well as bring out some extra bread for her (which is to die for by the way). Overall, a very good Winterlicious experience and a great restaurant to participate in this fun Toronto-wide event!

Great atmosphere in here. Very friendly staff with excellent service. All 5 of us enjoyed the food which was beautifully presented, well prepared and full of flavour. Whilst the restaurant was busy, this was the pre-theatre show time, it was still quiet and easy to hold a conversation. The team made sure we were looked after recommending the best way to order so we could make our show and ensuring we all had a continuous supply of drinks. Next time we’re off to the TSO we will definitely be in here again. Make sure you try the beef carpaccio it is not to be missed!

The valentines dinner was wonderful! I would say a tad expensive but you are paying for the presentation and experience as well so it’s justified. The food was fantastic and as we wanted it to be! My tenderloin was a little underdone for medium rare but things happen as it was a busy day for the restaurant. Micheal, our server for the evening was absolutely fantastic and super kind! Extremely knowledgeable on all menu items and helped with allergies and dietary restrictions! Service was quick and attentive! I didn’t catch the name of the other staff member at the door but he had a slick bun with a navy button down. He was extremely polite and mannered and held my coat for me to put it on. Gentleman in this establishment! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality and service 💌

7 ladies celebrating birthday of a cousin. Great choice for a restaurant to celebrate. We did the tasting menu which was excellent. Just the right amount of food properly phased serving. Brian our server is attentive and funny. Loved the live music we got to sing along with the performer.
