Secret spot next to the beach. So original. Service very friendly! An authentic place to watch the sunset. In love with this island !

Good for the aperitif, but they need to increase the cocktails’ quality. Especially the strawberry mojito which was a bad-made mojito with just strawberry syrup inside

Perfect place to enjoy a beer and a nice view! Good prices! Didn’t eat there so cant say anything about the food though!

The Blue Bar is a well-known spot in Formentera, but in our experience it felt a bit overrated. Yes, the location is fantastic right on the beachfront, but it gets very crowded—especially on show nights. We caught the alien show, which was only about 13 minutes long and fairly mediocre, but the live music on another night was much better and definitely more enjoyable. Service was decent overall, though the staff seemed a little disoriented at times, mixing up tables. Drinks are on the pricier side, but that’s to be expected for a beachfront bar. All in all, it’s not a bad place—we did enjoy our time there—but we had higher expectations given the reputation of the famous Blue Bar.

Spectacular Mediterranean restaurant to enjoy with family and children. Enjoying the sunset and its spectacular view of the Mediterranean beaches was something unique. In addition to its very original and entertaining Alien show for children to spend an unforgettable afternoon, they have different amenities within the restaurant. Very varied and entertaining live music, good food, and good service from the staff make this restaurant a must-stop in Formentera.

Lovely beach restaurant. The food tasted very delicious, but the good overall impression was unfortunately overshadowed by the fact that we were charged 50 cents extra for the Parmesan cheese without being informed. With prices of €16 and €18.50 for a plate of pasta, this should have been included.

It was our last night on Formentera, thank you for making it unforgettable! Very delicious food, great cocktails and very attentive service. We made a reservation for Monday to listen at sunset to a musical band playing. It was amazing! PLEASE NOTE❗️❗️❗️ It is better to book a table in advance, otherwise there may be no seats. The bar is popular.

When Chaos Meets Fine Dining So, we came as a group of nearly 20, expecting a fun night out at what is supposed to be one of Formentera’s upscale spots. Spoiler alert: it was memorable, but for all the wrong reasons. From the get-go, the staff made sure we knew we were an inconvenience. Friendly service? Nope. Instead, we got rushed along with a side of attitude, almost like they couldn’t wait for us to leave—except we ended up staying way longer than expected. Why? Oh, because they forgot to bring our main courses! Yes, after the starters, the waiter asked what desserts we wanted. You read that right: desserts… before the mains. It felt like we were stuck in some bizarre restaurant parallel universe. After a leisurely 1.5-hour wait (and a few hangry conversations later), the main courses finally showed up. Plates were practically slammed on the table, and there was a guessing game about who ordered what. And don’t get me started on the food. The €26 burger? Let’s just say, the price didn’t match the quality—it felt like a fast-food joint was moonlighting as a luxury venue. Oh, and the highlight reel! My friend’s salad mysteriously disappeared while he was in the restroom, cleared away like they were on some kind of mission to make room for… well, I’m not sure what, because no one was rushing to bring us food. But the pièce de résistance? The €18 plate of Bolognese. It was tasty, I’ll give them that. However, the portion size exactly matched the kids’ menu version, which costs €10. For science, I ordered the kids’ version after polishing off my “adult” portion and surprise, surprise—it was exactly the same size (see photos). A true rip-off moment. So, if you’re looking for overpriced food, forgetful and arrogant staff, and a side of stress with your meal, this place is calling your name. Otherwise, take your euros and your appetite elsewhere.

Yelp
Awesome sunset bar (or as a final stop for the after party on Formentera). Atmosphere here is amazing! Very Spanish, so prepare to sing out Enrique Iglesias. They also have great food and drinks, but it is a dirt road to reach and it will be busy there late at night.

Yelp
Wonderful place on the island to grab and drink and watch the sunset. They have live music on Saturdays starting at 19:00 and it's a whole lot of fun! You can't miss an evening at Blue Bar during your stay on Formentera. Also the waiter Fernando is super sweet and will take great care of you!

Yelp
Great place !! Must go ! The food is surprisingly good which makes it normal that it should be a bit pricy. Plus they are all real nice and the view is.... Magical. Check it out you won't regret.
