BLUE BAY HALKIDIKI

We booked this hotel as part of a package deal through jet2. This hotel is brilliant. So relaxing. A bit quiet for me, but staff are so amazingly friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and lots to choose from and on certain days they cooked fresh pancakes or omletes as you waited. Cleaners are so thorough and the room was always spotless. The poolside bar and meals, well, the staff were waiting on us with our drinks and the snacks were really good. Did have an issue with the kettle but that wad sorted out. Steps from the hotel take you down to the beach. The views from the hotel are breathtaking. Such a lovely relaxing holiday, thanks to the staff at Blue Bay.

Absolutely lovely hotel. Staff couldn’t do enough for you, very friendly. Beautiful views from our room. Situated a short walk from Afytos which is very pretty. Lots of lovely restaurants and little shops. Very quiet and relaxing. 2 large pools (which weren’t heated!) with comfy loungers, and a short walk down to the beach where it was nice getting in the clear sea for some great snorkelling. We also used the spa for some relaxing treatments, which was amazing!

Wonderful boutique style hotel just outside Afitos (only about 5/10 minute walk into Afitos) lovely quiet atmosphere with outstandingly attentive staff. Everywhere is spotless neat & tidy. |Breakfast is super, you would find everything and anything you wanted. No rush to be moved on, we would happily spend an hour over breakfast chatting to the staff. Special thanks to Teo & Maria who introduced us to Greek coffee and always had a welcoming smile!|Lunches on the veranda overlooking the sea were also lovely. HUGE portions of salads, burgers, local dishes etc with gentle ‘recognisable’ music in the background. |We ate out in Afitos most nights. The town is busy and has a broad variety of restaurants catering for all tastes & budgets.|The Room we had was spacious and spotless, the housekeeper was lovely and looked after our space impeccably.|The 2 pools are regularly maintained and are crystal clear. There are also a good number of sun-beds around said pools, without being crammed on top of each other. |The hotel also has a well appointed gym, games room and wellness centre.|The beach is below the hotel, accessible by roughly 160 steps that are not too demanding. The beach itself is a small strip of sand leading into crystal water with a restaurant and beach bar that are separate to the hotel.|A real gem that is definitely worth another visit for sheer downtime & relaxation.

We have just had the most amazing stay at the Blue Bay Hotel in Halkidiki. The staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. They always go out of their way to make you feel special and welcome. Halkidiki is a fantastic place and if going to Afitos then the Blue Bay hotel is the only place to stay. The rooms are clean and the food and facilities are great. We will definitely be coming back again soon!!

A fantastic hotel. The views are truly spectacular. Stayed for 11 nights end of August/beginning of September and had a brilliant stay. The room was clean, the view from the balcony amazing and the location superb. We went to the beach most days, using the steps from the hotel -the water is clear||We stayed B and B -the breakfasts were great and we ate most evenings in Afitos but also had some excellent meals at the hotel, where the prices are competitive. The staff are friendly and helpful with a specific mention to the bar staff - Anna, Dimitros and Tasos, who made us feel so welcome.||The pools are fantastic - only gripe is running out of sunbeds -at busy times, suggest hotel has 5 or 6 more to put out, there is certainly room.||Highly recommend visiting Afytaion winery, only 20 Euros for a 2 hour tour/wine tasting/snacks -booked it through the hotel. Also, enjoyed the Thessaloniki day tour through jet 2

Great hotel with amazing views. Located only a short walk into Afitos (1km) the hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were all excellent. The small nature of the hotel made it feel very personal which meant some days you could be in the swimming pool by yourself. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and the bar was reasonably priced as was the snack menu during the day. And as you will the see from the picture the view from the bar is something else. Very chilled atmosphere and extremely relaxing holiday travelling with our 2 daughters aged 20 and 17.

This hotel is stunning and we will definitely return. I'm so glad we chose to stay at Blue Bay Hotel during our trip to Afytos. It's close to the town, just a 15 minute walk. The hotel feels luxurious and the vibe was truly relaxing. The room was lovely, cleaned really well every day. The breakfast is really good and the restaurant food is also excellent, not to mention the incredible cliff-top view of the ocean whilst you eat. We both had massages in the spa, and were blown away at the experience - really wonderful! All of the staff at the hotel are truly lovely. Each and every member of the team we met could not do enough for us and exceeded our expectations. Special mention to Maria and Anna, who always greeted us with a warm welcome and went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Perfect spot!

A perfect place for couples- quiet, peaceful and clean. Our rooms is spacious, luxurious and comfortable. The staff is very polite and almost invisible while doing their job. Breakfast is tasty and can satisfy even picky eaters. The location is great for sea lovers.
