Nicest breakfast ever !!! Lots of choice to suit everyone's tastes. Rooms cleaned every day. 2 pools a small one and a larger one. Nice comfortable sun longers free pool towels. 1 euro for a beach towel. Beach is located down some steps need to be pretty fit!!!. Town of Afitos is gorgeous about 15min walk. Taxis are 5 euro. Lots of lovely places to eat /drink and great shopping. Take some beach shoes if going to the beach. All staff are really lovely and friendly very helpful. Had the best 2 weeks holiday.

2nd Visit after a 5 year gap and we were not disappointed. Amazing views, super clean in all areas, hard working happy staff at the whole hotel big shout out to both Maria's in restaurant and Maria in the wellness centre is amazing at treatments highly recommend spoiling yourself and having a treatment. If I had to find a niggle it would be the usual people putting towels down at a ridiculous time in the morning and this is not a criticism of the hotel . Lovely to walk down to the beach sea super clear but beach bar is a rip off and nothing Todo with the hotel. Afitos is a lovely village masses of lovely places to have a drink and food . We will come back booked direct with the hotel and that was very easy Todo .

The hotel is beautiful! Situated on a cliff, you have an amazing view of the sea. The staff is gentle, polite and helpful (and fun!). The a-la-carte restaurant has enough different dishes to choose from. We dined there 8 times, and every time is was very good. The grilled octopus was very soft, the meat tender and mom's pasta indeed made you feel at home. ||The bar has a small list of cocktails, but they can whip up just about anything you fancy. Every cocktail we had was good and plenty. ||We booked the stuite (side sea view) which was situated next to the main pool. It's squaky clean and maintained that way by the room help ladies. The room is spacey and very modern. The bed is huge and very good (I hardly ever sleep on vacation, because I need my bed to be just perfect... I slept like a baby here). Only downside is that my lady was so far away on the other side of that big bed. ||The pool is clean and warm, and there are plenty of sunbeds around it. The staff makes frequent rounds to check if you need or want anything. At the small pool everything is even more calm. ||The massage from Maria is a must! We both took a massage of about an hour, and it really revived us. Maria is very strong, and seems to feel exactly what you need (and can take). ||Cat's are (for us) an integral part of a holiday in Greece. The owner of the hotel now had 4 cats that explored the hotel. They are all very sweet to guests and look happy, so the owner must take care of them well. ||Afitos is the sweetest little village. It's about a 15 minute walk and there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to visit.

This was our 2nd stay at Blue Bay after previously visiting in 2018. Everything about this hotel is FANTASTIC. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and work so hard day in, day out. They are an absolute credit to this hotel. We stayed in a Junior Suite with Panoramic Sea View (room 520) - it was over the restaurant overlooking the small pool and it was BEAUTIFUL. I have never seen views like it from a hotel. Many an evening was spent on the huge balcony before walking into Afitos. I would highly recommend this room. The only slight niggle with it was the flush on the toilet - it wasn’t the best!|We stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast was lovely with a great range of food and was never chaotic or overly busy. Be careful if (like me) you’re vegetarian though as sometimes the ‘vegetable omelette’ actually had chorizo type meat in it.|Our days were spent by the small pool which was quiet and relaxing. We never had a problem getting a sun bed. There are steps down to the sea which are fine if you have a reasonable level of fitness. The sea is BEAUTIFUL so I would recommend tackling the stairs at least once to be able to swim in the water that could rival the Maldives!|Afitos town is about a 15min easy walk. There is a great selection of bars and restaurants there which are full of character and are not at all ‘tacky tourist’ type places.|Overall I would HIGHLY recommend Blue Bay. It is an absolute gem of a hotel. We would definitely return for a 3rd visit.

The review of this hotel it's pretty hard to make as the view is so magnificent and overall we had a great time. I would give a 3 star for the dinner service as we waited 30 min to order with the restaurant almost empty, but the food was excelent at Veranda. The breakfast was ok but everyday the same thing, with most of the table are in the sun(inside). They have a coffee machine in the room, which for me was excelent, if you want more than the 4 capsules, you have to pay a fair price. The cleaning service is the best that I have seen (thank you!). The beach is a little far, if you take the steps or if you take the road which is not paved and steep, we got there by car on another road. Not many activities for the kids, an old playground, pool table and 2-3 games there. Room was renovated, except the floor which is old and squeaks, the bathtub I find it innapropriate in a hotel that you shower at least 2 times a day, it is hard to get in and out, so maybe you'll find a way to replace it by simple shower. |Loved the view ❤️ every single day! And the super friendly staff!

Very nice hotel Witz excellent staff very nice rooms and very clean. Only minus is the breakfast quality, which doesn’t come close to a 4 star hotel in Greece quality, and selection wise. A la cart restaurant is very good.

We stayed here for a week at the end of July in a Superior sea view room. The room was lovely a huge bed, modern bathroom with walk in shower and a balcony with beautiful views. Breakfast was plentiful, a nice menu for lunch and snacks and a cocktail menu for us to work through each evening before dinner. We used the smaller pool everyday as it was quieter and we were able to still get a sunbed at 9:30am. ||It's about a 15 minute walk into Afitos town along a straight road (no pavements), taxi's are fixed at 5 Euro so we often got one back. There are steps down to the beach directly from the hotel or if you turn right out of the hotel and walk down for a few minutes there is a slope down instead (which leads to a lovely restaurant you can have dinner overlooking the sea). Beach is very narrow and packed with sunbeds so we preferred the pool area. They also charged 15 euro per person min spend at the cafe to use the beds (this must be spent on your first order and not order the day). ||Reception were really helpful on local knowledge and told us about a local winery (Tzikas family) which we got a taxi to to do a tasting which was a nice afternoon out. ||Would definitely stay again if we returned to Afitos.

We spent 12 nights here and loved every minute. Great room with a good sized balcony. Spotlessly clean throughout. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. We used the smaller pool with a fantastic view over the sea, even spotting dolphins one day. Breakfast was really good, one minor criticism is the hot food could be hotter. Some days the eggs were cold but loads to choose from every day.|The team here are extremely friendly and helpful. Always have a warm welcome with a big smile. The housekeepers work very hard in the heat and it shows in the standards throughout the hotel.|It's a ten minute walk into Afytos from the hotel but only €5 for a taxi. We went to the beach via the steps which weren't as bad as expected. |Overall a fantastic holiday
