100% recommended!! Incredible location, very sweet and accommodating staff. Breakfast was good with a personal omelet every day. Room service every day, sheets get changed every few days. Clean but lots of ants because of the tropical climate. Didn’t bother us much. You can rent snorkeling gear and beach chairs for free. We stayed here for two weeks and really enjoyed it. I only take a star off because it was very expensive for what it was (simple guesthouse). Loved every single person of the staff.❤️ People are saying it’s the perfect snorkeling spot but the reef is unfortunately completely bleached. Still some fish around.

The location makes up for any shortfall with the rooms. The rooms are basic but they have aircon and ours had a good view. They are just a bit tired. But the location is better than even the best 5star resort. The snorkelling is within 20 meters of the gate and is some of the best. The coral is alive and beautiful.

We had a lovely stay here despite booking a transit room for a night as the hotel was fully booked. The room was basic but totally fine for a nights stay and still had a window with an ocean view. For this reason I can imagine the normal rooms you could book would be excellent. |The breakfast was SO good! Freshly made omelette/eggs your way, hot croissant from the oven, good selection of fruit and good coffee. Great wifi. Great location right near blue bay and two restaurants opposite. Would recommend staying here and I would stay again!

Thank you for a perfect stay in Mauritius! I really appreciated the kindness of the staff and the great location of the guesthouse, right at the beach! The terrace of my room was the perfect place to relax, read and listen to the waves! I hope that I can return soon!!

The location is perfect. The beautiful Blue Bay beach is just round the corner. I chose a room with the sea view and it was magical 🥰. The sunrise was amazing!|The room is little bit old but enough for my holidays.|Taxi driver Jaun (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g488102-d24135502-Reviews-Jaun_bocus_Taxi_Mauritius-Blue_Bay.html) is the best. You must call him +230 5254 1975, he’ll guide you everywhere with lots of explanations. He’s clever, smart, with a big smile, knows a lot about history and botanic and tries to serve you the best. I’m sure you’ll love him.

Right next to the beach. My first room was amazing. Great breakfast. I loved that they gave me a check out room for the last day (I had my flight in the evening) for free.

Blue Beryl was just perfect. The location on the bay was spectacular. The staff went above and beyond in getting us taxis and helping arrange a day snorkeling trip. They had beach chairs for us to use and the breakfast was excellent. Starting every day with a croissant - WONDERFUL! Our room was cleaned every day and the wifi was smoking fast. Just past the front door is a great little restaurant and two others down the street. Perfect stay, perfect location.

We upgraded to a beach view room (best advice), as the wind came up but we could still enjoy the ocean from our room and balcony. Room is small, common space has picnic benches to sit at (not comfortable to lounge in) but fine if the weather is good. Solar geyser which sometimes leaves the shower tepid. But this was only probelm on overcast days and they were able to switch over to electric on those days. But you have to ask for it. The best past is that you can walk straight onto the beach from accommodation and go snorkeling, and see amazing ocean life, even when it is windy or cool. and after you are meters away from your room.
