Blue Bottle Coffee - Shibuya Cafe

This is the best Blue Bottle location I’ve been to in Tokyo. It’s not too crowded and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The coffee is really good—I tried the latte and americano, and both were great. The atmosphere is lovely, surrounded by a garden-like area. The staff can speak English, which is helpful. They also sell some snacks and pretty cups. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice coffee spot around Shibuya. I’ll definitely come back!

Located in a beautiful place, Blue Bottle Coffee is pretty, with nice colors, a nice plaza, and a nice style. There was no waiting time, which is wonderful, since you have to wait a lot in many places in Japan. The menu is small, and you can see it before arriving to help you decide. The food was served quickly, with beautiful presentation and temperature; only the avocado was not the best. The taste was good. The coffee was really good. The staff was really nice and kind, as are most people in Japan. My experience was good. The price/value wasn't the best, but overall it was good. I would return for coffee and muffins.

Found this hidden gem on our way to shop around the neighbourhood. Love their coffee which is equally good comparing with where we are from: Melbourne. Tried their single origin which is well balanced. Nice place to drop by for a cup of coffee. Love the vibe of the decoration as well. My personal rating is 4.6/5

When I lived in California, I would visit the SF and LA Blue Bottles sometimes, i can see myself going weekly if i lived in Tokyo! This is my favorite location. Wish i had come here during my first tokyo trip in 2024, finally did in 2025 4 times during my stay. There are sometimes pop up events in the courtyard too. I will be back! Honestly the best coffee, if you like it how it’s supposed to be: caramel, dark chocolate notes. The food was good too!

They were super helpful with the ordering process and and the cherry blossom Sakura hot latte is the best latte in the world. Their waffles are delicious, the white sauce and guac was soooo good on the waffles. Very good breakfast place for coffee, espresso, desserts and breakfast options.

We visited around 2pm and there was a queue for ordering. Good thing it didn't take long to get our turn. There are 2 levels but it didn't have a lot of seats provided, so I guess you have to try luck if you want to dine in. We ordered a latte, matcha latte, and a strawberry waffle. Food was ok and the latte is food

We had breakfast at Blue Bottle in Shibuya and really enjoyed it! The waffle and matcha were delicious — simple, fresh, and satisfying. The space has a clean, modern vibe and is a great place to start your day in Tokyo.

The place is quite big, at first i thought i had to order first the find a seat. But we can find a seat first then order. Somehow the coffee is a bit too watery than the coffee of blue bottle in Seoul branch. But still ok. Spent around 700jpy for ice coffee here
