Blue Bottle Coffee - Shibuya Cafe

Very chill place, esp to people watch. Not a lot of seats indoors. We were here for winter so indoors seats are good. But I can imagine people will be out in the park with food and drinks. Good coffee good waffle. It was really helpful that the staff at the cashiers spoke English. It made our ordering much easier.

Loved stopping at this Blue Bottle in Shibuya. This location has a beautiful interior that lends itself well to creating a relaxing spot where you can enjoy a nice coffee in the heart of Tokyo. We were lucky enough to get a spot by the window to sit and enjoy our coffees and pastry and it was so nice. The scone and jam we shared were delicious and as always, the coffee was perfection. This location also has lots of very nice merch you can purchase for souvenirs or gifts.

Blue Bottle is on another level when it comes to interior design and atmosphere. This location has a second-floor seating area with a clean, stylish setup that makes the space feel really comfortable. The coffee and the small breakfast plate we ordered were well balanced and enjoyable. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in Shibuya.

Regular-tasting coffee but quite pricey. We paid ¥4,422 for 3 coffees and 1 waffle. The shop only has around 8–10 seats, and when we arrived there were no seats available. Despite clearly seeing this, the female staff member (see picture) making coffee in the corner told us “this area forbidden for kids and dangerous” and asked us to find seats while she must clearly see that no seats left. Only 8 in first floor. The attitude felt unfriendly and not welcoming to families with children. If children are not allowed, it would be better to clearly put a sign in front of the shop stating “No Kids Allowed.” Also, the Wi-Fi was slow, see pictures.

I went to this famous coffe shop after having my lunch. There was queue but it was moving fast and they also prepare the drink quickly. You can pay by cash or card here. They have indoor seating (2 floors) and outdoor at a small park. On the second floor, a lot people working with their laptop, although no power outlet available. It is nice to work on a coffee shop sometimes, to change the mood.

Finally found really good coffee in Tokyo 👍👍. It is full body chocolaty, rich of flavour. The ambience and service are the best as the coffee does 👍

I like how accommodating the staffs and open for chatting. Food and ambiance is good. I would have given it a five if not for the coffee (gibraltar) I got as it was a little burnt to my liking. Overall, I will still be coming back and trying more food and their other coffee when I visit Tokyo.

Coffee was very well prepared and tasted good. Barista was able to bring out the flavors properly. I had an orange cake on the side, it was a tiny bit dry.
