Blue Bottle Coffee

Blue Bottle Coffee at Lumine Singapore continues to impress me every time I visit, and this experience was no different. It easily earns five stars for consistently delivering some of the best coffee you can find. The moment you walk in, the calm and clean layout sets the right mood, and the service feels both attentive and genuine. The staff are well trained, polite, and happy to explain the different beans or brewing styles if you want something specific. Their approach is warm without being pushy, which makes the whole visit comfortable. The coffee itself is the highlight, as always. Blue Bottle has a reputation for precision and quality, and it truly shows in every cup. The flavour is rich, clean, and perfectly balanced, with no bitterness or harsh notes. Whether you go for a pour-over, espresso, or milk-based option, the taste remains consistent and smooth. It is the kind of coffee that feels carefully prepared rather than rushed, and you can tell they take the craft seriously. Even simple drinks stand out because of how well they’re executed. I left feeling completely satisfied, and this location reinforces why Blue Bottle remains one of my favourite stops whenever I’m nearby. If you want a perfect cup paired with kind staff, this is the place to go.

I recently tried their long black at their Paragon Outlet. And I liked it. Very gd coffee, robust but not too sour or bitter. Although seating area is not large.. This Raffles City outlet offers more indoor AC seatings vs their Paragon Outlet. Whereas the latter offer more outdoor alfresco seating. Which can be quite warm in the afternoon.

Came to try out the much-praised coffee. Was not disappointed. It’s a perfectly brewed cup of coffee but also somewhat lacking in character as the result. And just as ice cream can be delightful as just plain vanilla, the coffee is enjoyable and much appreciated. Is it worth the premium? That’s entirely up to you. 🙂 The canele that I added on a whim was superb though. While the service is overall professional, I think the method of calling out the customer name feels a bit worn out by now. A hailing system or use a courtesy tag like Muji Cafe. (I thought my name was called multiple times cos the barista was trying to call out a name through his mask).

In the States, Blue bottle is a mere Starbucks alternative. Coffee is somewhat average and just a way of life. The Singapore chain is trying to make it upscale and charge a premium for it. Stop it, behave like what you were meant to be. The hot latte I had came only in 1 size and was $8.50. It’s just an ordinary coffee.

02/Sept/2025 Had Americano, Cappuccino, Double Espresso & Canelé with Kaya with 3 friends, was quite good. Ordered another round of 2 Americano + Iced Nola with oat milk. Indoor seating is relatively small here but we didn't wait for too long before getting a table. Staffs were cheerful and friendly, they made us feel welcome. And they're ready to make recommendations. Pricing is on the higher side in my opinion. I'll be back!

Smooth and balanced black coffee. Worth a visit for comparison if you have visited some of their 100 cafes worldwide especially in Tokyo, Seoul and Shanghai. Limited seats as it’s situated inside corner of Lumine. Ordered Americano with extra expresso shot and Service was fast and courteous. Inside Blue Bottle Cafe , they feature a small display of mugs, tumblers, coffee filter and tote bags merchandise with their blue bottle logo for a little souvenir shopping.

Overall aesthetically pleasing (minimalistic style), appreciate the service provided by cashier staff (gave recommendations without prompting)! Minus one as there’s no designated waiting area for those who are waiting for a seat (the pressure is on the individual to snatch a seat, and it can be quite uncomfortable for both consumers and those waiting) (floor staff didn’t really assist in this area). There’s also no clear sign if it’s self-service to clear the table once you’re done (hence there were many empty tables with leftover food, making us unsure if there’s anyone occupying those tables). Food wise was decent, only thing we preferred was the “New-Orleans Style” coffee we had in Hong Kong as compared to “Nola” in this outlet — coffee beans were still similar.

Coffee used to be better when it first started. Barrister seemed to have changed, probably have gone to new outlet. However, my recent 2 visits including today, my flat white was again ~ burnt. Tasted v bitter and burnt. 😵‍💫 It’s disappointing as the coffee wasn’t like this when it first started. And my visit at blue bottle HK coffee in Aug wasn’t like this. Their coffee was quite good. I will visit blue bottle for the pastries.

Coffee is good a little on the higher side price wise. Problem is patrons don't clear their cups after they are done. Staff don't clear it either.
