Review of Blue Bottle Coffee: A Mixed Experience Blue Bottle Coffee has finally opened its official coffee shop, much to the excitement of fans who were disappointed by the limited retail launch last year. However, despite the initial anticipation, my visit revealed a few challenges. The coffee shop is bustling, perhaps a bit too much. It was incredibly busy, making it difficult to find a seat and enjoy the atmosphere. While the coffee itself is certainly good, the noise and crowd made it hard to fully appreciate the experience. The design of the store is appealing, with a modern aesthetic that reflects the brand's commitment to quality, but the ambiance was unfortunately overshadowed by the hustle and bustle. For those looking for a tranquil coffee experience, this might not be the ideal spot, especially with so many people drawn in by curiosity. Overall, I found it to be a standard visit, and while I appreciate the quality of the coffee, the noisy environment made it less enjoyable for me. If you’re a fan of Blue Bottle, it’s definitely worth checking out, but be prepared for a lively atmosphere!

Blue Bottle’s debut in Singapore has drawn plenty of hype, and the experience met expectations. The café has a clean, modern look, but it was packed and slightly noisy during my visit, with long queues and limited seating. Staff were friendly, but the rush seemed to affect coffee quality, the coffee in the takeaway cups seemed to be not as aromatic as those in the eat-in cups. Worth a one-time visit if you’re curious, but not ideal for a quiet coffee break.

Popular chained coffee shop. Always Q. Coffee is not bad. Americano a bit overly dark roast. Latte is not bad but only lukewarm even I drink immediately. Very hard to get table it’s free seating. Better way is to take away.

I visited the Blue Bottle Coffee outlet at Paragon last week and had an iced latte, it was an excellent cup of coffee with a rich, balanced flavor that really impressed me. However, when I visited the Raffles City outlet today, my experience was quite different. I ordered both a hot and an iced latte. The hot latte lacked the distinct coffee flavor I was expecting, it tasted more like warm milk than a proper espresso-based drink. The iced latte was slightly better, but still didn’t quite match the quality of the one I had at Paragon. I’m a big fan of Blue Bottle, so I was surprised by the inconsistency in taste between the two outlets, especially since they use the same beans. Hopefully, this was just a one-off experience and I hope this can be improved.

Famous all over the world and finally in Singapore. The price tag reflects its fame and popularity but not all may agree the coffee is worth it. There are long Qs as this is the first outlet in Singapore and with anything that takes time and attention to craft, churning coffee out like a factory will definitely affect its quality. Staff try their best, are friendly and there’s ample seating as most buying to go.

I’ve come across Blue Bottle Coffee in other countries before, but it suddenly popped up here in Singapore—right inside the Lumine section on the first floor of Raffles City Shopping Mall at City Hall. Naturally, I had to stop by. The menu is quite minimal. I visited early on a weekend morning, and thankfully it wasn’t too crowded—just a few customers inside, and I didn’t have to wait long to place my order. They asked for my name at the counter, as usual. Perhaps because the store had just opened, everything felt a bit unpolished. Staff seemed inexperienced and unsure of their roles. One staff member interrupted another mid-order to ask a question, which didn’t exactly give off a professional vibe. I ordered a hot café latte to go, but after quite a wait, I was handed an iced latte instead—without a lid. Since I was short on time, I didn’t bother requesting a replacement and just took it as-is, adding the lid myself. At that point, I was already a little disappointed. That said, the coffee itself was really good—aromatic, flavorful, and smooth with no overpowering milkiness. You can’t choose the cup size, and the price? A steep $8.50! I’m hopeful that once the staff get more comfortable and confident in their roles, this spot will feel more refined. For now, it’s a promising start—just with some growing pains.

I visited Blue Bottle 3 times since the opening, cause I’m already a fan of the their beans and Tokyo & Shanghai branch, I tried 3 types of coffee here is my review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️NOLA One of the best mixture coffee drink I have tried this year. Cold brew latte usually gives a disgusting overnight left over coffee sensation, but this one is mixed very well. The caramelized cane sugar really gives a tasty caramel flavor which is not overly sweet or artificial, the cold brew itself is quite refreshing and mostly importantly fresh compared to other cold brew I tried. ⭐️⭐️iced latte Perfectly saturated espresso mixed in with high quality milk, tasted identical to the one I had in Aoyama Tokyo ⭐️iced Americano Could be better, the beans is high quality with decent flavor but was not quite ready that day according to the slight rawness after taste

Google
Blue bottle coffee keeps their quality here. Also appreciated that they have pretty good decaf. The place is quite crowded on a weekend afternoon and can be hard to get a seat plus the acoustics isn't the best, so it gets loud. Not really the most relaxing place for a cuppa

Yelp
Coffee is good a little on the higher side price wise. Problem is patrons don't clear their cups after they are done. Staff don't clear it either.
