Blue Butterfly Restaurant & Cooking Class

Excellent cookery class with our chef teacher Hung Pickle. Morning started with a trip to local market to get all the ingredients. Hung explained the different veggies, herbs and spices. We had a few delicious samples of local sweets and headed back to the restaurant to cook. The whole operation was professional, well thought out and super clean. Hung accommodated our preference for making vegetarian dishes. After clear instructions we made several dishes and enjoyed the fruits of our Labour. Would highly recommend. This place was recommended to us by someone, and oh boy, they were absolutely right! It’s a bit pricier than other spots, but totally worth it. The presentation and decor are stunning, and every dish tasted wonderful. Definitely one of our top picks during our Vietnam trip! highly recommended!

I highly recommend this restaurant. The manager, Phong, has been very welcoming. We came twice, and everytime, Phong would talk to us about the Vietnamese culture and his feelings. Absolutely fabulous restaurant. For us it was the best food we have had in Hanoi. The beef dish - amazing! and the innovative chicken was world class. Head chef Toi works with an efficient team and deliverers wonderful food. Our waiter, Leo was friendly and attentive. Without a doubt Recommended.

This place is amazing! From the greeting to the dessert everything was perfect, full of flavours, some say it’s pricey! But you pay for what you get We loved it that much we are coming back next week

In my opinion probably one of the best restaurants in all of Hanoi Second visit and wish I was staying longer so we can go again Highly recommend

We did a tour of Hà noi and this was our food destination. We had the set menu. Variety was good, enjoyed it very much. Lovely old house.

We were there for the cooking class. We had a really great time with Hung, our teacher. Very instructive and qualitative. I’m eager to do the dishes we learnt at home.
