Blue Button Shop is amazing! The unassuming shop is packed with Japanese brands like Kapital, Comme des Garçons, Porter, and Nicholson & Nicholson as well as international brands that are popular in Japan like JW Anderson and Paraboot. Although they are a Japanese fashion store, the vast majority of their items are a relaxed/unisex fit and excellent quality. The owner and staff are all so kind and helpful. They have a keen eye when it comes to curating their selection and truly match up to their vision of high quality, smart casual, unique and mature items. I wish I lived in Toronto so I could stop by more often but it’s probably better for my wallet that I don’t live in the city. It’s a must stop shop for me everytime I’m in the area!

This adorable little shop is a hidden treasure trove for lovers of Japanese design. It’s your one-stop destination for everything from cult-favourite labels like Comme des Garçons (main line, Play, Tao) to lesser-known gems like And Wander and Visvim. The space is thoughtfully curated with clothing, shoes, accessories, and fragrances—all rooted in that signature Japanese aesthetic: timeless design, premium fabrics, and effortlessly androgynous silhouettes. Whether you’re a longtime fan or just getting into Japanese fashion, this place is a must-visit.

They are great, I ordered something with 3-5 day shipping and it arrived under 24 hours with a hand written note. Their personalization, attention to detail and customer service is very much appreciated and admirable. I've always had a positive experience with them and absolutely recommend them.

The store overall had a really great vibe. Staff were really friendly and welcoming, and pricing were great too especially when a lot of them you couldn’t get it anywhere else.

Came here back in December to get some gifts for a friend. I recommend browsing the online shop before coming in, simply because there’s so much to choose from! They have an array of lifestyle products, clothing, accessories and more. The staff were super helpful and carefully packaged my purchases.

Wonderful store and staff! Was greeted warmly by both clerks and the manager! Carefully chosen items adorn the store, and the clerks displayed great precision and respect for the items, and were kind enough to give me a bottle of water while I shopped. They were attentive and thoughtful in their suggestions and assistance. Very pleased with the service and their selection of Viberg boots. Details matter, and this store excels in this regard.

Google
Great little shop carrying a wide variety of Japanese brands that are difficult to find locally here in Toronto. The store itself carries a wide variety of brands and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be back again to buy another pair of jeans soon..Highly recommend checking them out!

Google
Great people with some unique pieces in popular Japanese brands as well as less known brands that are popular in Japan. The customer service is friendly and knowledgeable. I have a few pieces from them that often get complimented. Best shop for this type of fashion in Toronto without coming off as pretentious. Moving back to Toronto after a couple decades in Asia this shop is the next best thing for me.

Yelp
This place specializes in clothing from Japan and does it well (from what I have been told by a person who is hooked to Japanese clothing). Setup is quite nice and the products are on display in a nice organised manner. Apart from the expected Japanese denim they also carry other items like jackets, shoes, bags and accessories. Prices are eye popping in some cases (200$+ bag to carry groceries anyone) but as they say everything is relative, if you are willing to plunk down $$$ for a pair of blues there is someone who is willing to sell it to you. Service was decent and not overbearing which is just right. If you are on the Japanese Chic bandwagon I would say its worth the trek to the west end to check this place out. If you can't trek all the way here they have a very good online store as well.

Yelp
My favourite shop in Toronto : ) I always appreciate the friendly service, beautifully curated selection of clothes, and attention to detail. Every piece I have purchased from Blue Button is a favourite. I especially love their selection of linen, but really enjoy my wool pieces as well. Subscribing to their newsletter is worth it if you are a fan, I always keep an eye out for sales.

Yelp
A small Independent shop that's loaded with great Japanese lines. Everything from clothes, runners to cool knapsacks. The staff are very responsive and helpful as well.

Yelp
I bought a blue dress a few days ago. It was not cheap, actually I think it was a little bit expensive, but it's worth it. The shop contains shirts, jackets, shoes and some accessories. There are also some Japanese stuff you could choose as a gift, like Japanese traditional toys-Kendama.

Yelp
Looking for more obscure Japanese denim? Blue Button is the place. Momotaro, Eternal, Studio d'Artisan, Kapital, etc. good selection of styles and sizes. They also carry tops, scarves, soaps and fragrances, magazines...all sourced from Japan. Definitely worth the trip.

Yelp
It is a peaceful place. I very much enjoy the quiet, attentive service, and the comfortable and elegant clothes.
