This past weekend we hosted my bridal shower at Blue Canyon. To say that they exceeded our expectations is an understatement; from the food to the service staff the event was truly magical! Olivia and Kelly were especially attentive to our party, very accommodating to friends' diets and regularly checked up on all guests. The food was amazing, literally no notes-- it was that good! Blue Canyon is especially great to host with as they were able to source tablecloths and cloth napkins for our party as well as provide us with lots of options for room layout, even offering additional tables and help with set up day-of. Communication before the event was always polite, succinct, and speedy. We were able to build an abbreviated menu which was so well loved by our guests-- I don't think they will ever stop talking about the chocolate bomb or the filet! The cocktails recommended and served were wonderful as well-- the blueberry lemon drop martini went perfectly with our theme! We cannot express our gratitude enough for the wonderful experience we have had with Blue Canyon. And we cannot thank Olivia enough for how wonderful she was!! Olivia if you see this, you are PERFECT! All of our friends and family thank you for such a fabulous experience, as the bride I feel so truly very special!!

Love the atmosphere, so cozy! Started either the crispy Brussels sprouts, it’s good but don’t really taste much of the Thai chili glaze and the yum yum sauce. The calamari is lightly battered which I like. I got the wild boar bolognese, it’s not your usual bolognese, it’s like a fried Mac & cheese ball but it’s really burrata stuffed Arancini, it came with broccolini give it even more flavorful.

I recently visited Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern, and it was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Located in a charming setting, the restaurant offers a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, with a mix of rustic and contemporary decor. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was perfect. Whether you're there for a casual dinner or a special occasion, it’s a place that offers delicious food and great service. I will definitely be returning.

I got married on September 21, 2024 and it was the perfect day. I wanted a smaller, intimate venue that did not require a minimum of 100 people - I found that with Blue Canyon Kitchen & Tavern as the maximum capacity is 80 people. The room is gorgeous and the food was amazing. I have received many compliments on the gorgeous venue and amazing food. Katie was great to work with. She jumped in and helped make my day as stress free as she could. We got married on the patio at 330 PM before the restaurant opened and then had our reception inside of the Lodge. We were able to take photos on the patio as well as inside of the restaurant as there is gorgeous scenery and many great photo opportunities. My pictures turned out fabulous. There is no charge for the room but there is a minimum of food and drink that is very reasonable. Most venues I looked at required a minimum of 100 people plus a rental fee. The staff was amazing, my wedding went very smoothly and I could not be happier. If you are looking for a smaller more intimate wedding with high quality food and great staff members then I highly recommend this venue

Went for the Easter Brunch prime rib buffet. Unfortunately the prime rib was the absolute worst I’ve ever seen or tasted. Well done and tough. And I gave it two separate roasts thinking the first one was bad, but both roasts were well done had no flavor/seasoning and was tough to chew. I didn’t even finish it. Very disappointed in the quality and expected much more for the price. The second trip to the buffet I asked if they had medium rare and she said this was medium rare. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Visited Blue Canyon Tavern & Kitchen for a work dinner with two colleagues. Both a colleague and I enjoyed the rich and flavorful Wagyu steak, served with a house steak sauce. Sadly, the sauce limited our ability to enjoy the pure taste of the meat which prevented me from giving the full 5 stars. I would have enjoyed the sauce on the side, but the steak cam covered in it. The sides also left something to be desired. Our other colleague had the filet, which came without the sauce and he enjoyed it thoroughly. The ambiance is inviting, with a log cabin vibe and bohemian charm, clean and well-decorated. Service was excellent, with an attentive waitress who knew the menu and specials well. I'd recommend Blue Canyon to anyone looking for a nice place to dine with upscale options.

Maggie and I got married here 9/14/24 and we could not ask for a more perfect place to get married at. Ashley and Katie were very accommodating and communicated throughout the whole process to make our night special. The venue itself is breathtaking and gave our photographer many ideas to capture the moment. The dining experience is everything you could ask for from the bright personalities to the true hospitality from the waiting staff. Thank you Blue Canyon for hosting a milestone of our life, and we can’t wait to stop by to celebrate our future anniversaries.

My fiancee and I came in to get dinner. Our server (Neal) was absolutely fantastic. I ordered desert to go just because I wanted to pad our bill. I got the scallops with the Friday BBQ special. The ribs were burned, the scallops were burned, and the brisket was dry. My fiancee really liked her food and we both thought Neal was a 12/10 server. Overall we liked the atmosphere and it was easy to have a conversation. We'll definitely go again, but I'll probably skip the BBQ. I like places that take reservations.

Yelp
We sat on the patio outside and it was lovely! We felt like it was a really private patio, not at all next to the parking lot. Food was good - my husband got the boar meatloaf. He said it was good, maybe too salty for him, but he ate it all. I got the chicken sandwich and I loved that too. Wait staff was working hard and we appreciated them. We had zero service issues. We will be back! Maybe next time we'll eat inside because the rooms were very nicely set up!

Yelp
Start with the good: Ambiance- 5/5. Clean, nice views, not overly loud. Deck/patio- it was raining. But 5/5 location, view, set up Service: 2/5. Wait staff not attentive. Waited way too long for refills. My drink was empty for a good 30 minutes. She did say she had a party in the other room- so I blame the scheduler and did not reflect it in the tip. She was very friendly and knew the food drink menu very well. Food: Seasoned dry rub chicken. 0/5 No flavor and horribly dry. Potatoes o gratin: 5/5. Delish Walleye:0/5- bones. Lots of bones. Sent it back Beef tenderloin: 5/5. Perfectly cooked. Could do without the glob of garlic butter. But that's me. The sides were all a bit over seasoned and salted Overall food was inconsistent. BUT when pointed out (walleye) they comped it and the replacement meal. So they were great about that and it was unexpected. Overall- for the price, would like for all the food to be consistent and cooked correctly.

Yelp
What a lovely setting for an old-school, traditional American fare restaurant. The grounds and dining room spaces (of which there are several to choose from including both inside and out) have a lodge style to them feeling cozy and inviting. We were lucky enough to score a table right along the windows in the main dining room space, which we very much enjoyed. Our server was extremely pleasant and helpful in guiding us through the menu and also the drink options. After placing our drink orders, a basket of fresh baked yeast rolls and seasoned whipped butter was brought to the table. My wife and I decided to split a house salad and our served was nice enough to even let us each choose our own dressing to top the half salad with. I really enjoyed my buttermilk chive dressing as did my wife's choice of maple balsamic vinaigrette. We usually each get a different main dish so that we can share, but this time around we both had our eye on the pretzel crusted trout dish so we ordered two. The mild, flaky fish came atop whipped creamy potatoes and fresh grilled green beans. The sauce drizzle on top had a buttery mustard base and was filled with capers...an excellent compliment to the delicate fish. All four of us really enjoyed the nostalgic feel of this dining space, probably more of a "special occasion" style spot for us, for any future return visits.

Yelp
Father's Day Brunch was DELICIOUS. Great service, quality food. Large menu. Chocolate bomb and espresso martini are a MUST.

Yelp
Every time we are in the area for meetings, we dine at Blue Canyon! The Hilton is at the bottom of the hill, so every convenient! From the moment you walk in the door at Blue Canyon, you are greeted by Kathy, an exceptional Hostess! Bar is fun; drinks are unique; food is delicious--calamari and shrimp apps this time! Servers are top notch!

Yelp
Went to a baby shower and the food was good especially for a buffet. The staff was so incredibly nice and the mimosas and bloody Mary's.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a group of 8 of us with no reservation. A short wait and we were seated at a great table with a view of their kitchen and rest of the restaurant. As always, the food is great. Menu has some interesting options and they rotate it by season.

Yelp
Way, way, over-priced. Stop at the bank and get a loan before going here. Food was mediocre at best.

Yelp
We just celebrated my wife's birthday and we were able to book the entire space on a Sunday evening. The event was spectacular. Ashley and staff were excellent and so attentive in giving outstanding customer service to our guests.

Yelp
Was there a few years ago for dinner. A guy near us was smoking a cigar and we mentioned it to the staff that it was bothering us. Nothing was done because he was a "regular" and apparently a VIP at the restaurant. Totally inconsiderate! Never back. Our friends went there recently and the mom got food poisoning. The restaurant totally denied any responsibility.

Yelp
I've been here several times. You ever been somewhere where the food was decent but the price knocked it down a few notches? This reason has kept me from coming back more often. However, today I decided to try the happy hour menu. And what a treat it was. The food was amazing!!! Nothing super spectacular however done just right. The seasonal barbacoa walking taco was great! Simple but on another level. The whipped burrata was very tasty as well. For the flavors and price, you have no business not stopping in for happy hour during the week. You won't regret it. Corey, Courtney and all of the bar staff were very tentative and friendly. The ambiance was simply beautiful yet elegant without being over the top. See ya next week!

Yelp
Always a great experience! Wait staff is very accommodating and food is fantastic! The specials always sound so yummy that you decide to get your favorite on the next trip.

Yelp
I dined here last night! The ambiance is extremely nice. We sat in front of the fireplace so it was a little warm but not overwhelming! I was there for a relative's birthday party but this absolutely a perfect date spot! I was torn on what to order but I settled for a burger and fries! I know boring but this burger was delicious

Denise J.

Yelp
Went for the Sunday St Patty's buffet. Food was average. Eggs Benedict to order was very good. Food on buffet was limited in selection. No seafood option. Salads were fair. Only tried chicken and meat at carving station. Overpriced unless you are heavy meat eater.
google avatar

Yelp
Solid 4 star experience. Food was good, though portion size on the salad was light. Fairly attentive service, but could be improved upon. Bottom line, I'd return.

Yelp
Friendly and accommodating service - we were seated in the newer section of the restaurant but had requested the Great Room area, they were able to get us a table in the Great Room with short notice! The owner, Val, came over and greeted us and we enjoyed speaking with him for about 10 minutes! He was very friendly, funny, and excited to speak with us! The ambiance of the Great Room is incredibly lovely and has a cozy cabin atmosphere! The food was tasty and they had a lot of variety to satisfy different palates! Excited to come back again!

Yelp
I love their food. A few times they were too heavy on the salt bur overall the food is wonderful. The staff has always been very nice and efficient.

Yelp
My husband and I and another couple went there for happy hour to celebrate not only his birthday but our other friend's birthday that was with us. We arrived before our friends and I told the bartender to put the appetizer and their first drinks on my tab. When the bill came he did not do this. I kindly told him what I had previously requested however my friends and I agreed that I would pay for drinks on a separate occasion to not cause a hassle. However, he begrudgingly pick up our bills and said he was going to fix them so "I wouldn't yell at him anymore" This bartender was rude, condescending, and quite frankly arrogant! When I spoke to the manager, he made an excuse for him saying he's been there a long time. The next day, we were at a Guardians game sharing our experience...the group of people that we were with said they were there the week before, had the same bartender, and said how rude he also was and they would not be going back. We have loved this restaurant, especially since my husband and I met there and almost got married there. I emailed Blue Canyon directly to see if i would get a response before I posted this...but to no avail. Suffice it to say, our group will not be going back anytime soon.

Yelp
Blue Canyon has my vote for the Twinsburg area. The staff is incredibly friendly. The chef really pays attention to the ways in which flavors and consistency work together. Yesterday I had the Butternut Squash Pop Tart. Think phyllo dough with squash, Asian Pear, Tillamook Cheddar, and Sage (!!) Crème Fraiche. First, he used Sage. Points for that. Second Crème Fraiche. Third, phyllo dough. Okay it was very tasty. The only problem was that it was offered as an appetizer. I would have preferred it as a dessert. It was pretty hearty, not gonna lie. My entree, although tasty, was sort of an anticlimax from the appetizer. This evening I had the Duck. It left me speechless. I'm saying that this meal was not only in my top ten meals ever, it was top five. The ravioli was perfect. The Brussels with squash purée were fantastic. Last but not least the 7 oz portion of duck was SO flavor, not greasy, and cooked to perfection. You have to give this place a try!

Carole R.

Yelp
I ate there 05/03/2025. Had the worst food poisoning symptoms. I emailed and noone answered. I called and was basically told oh well, noone else complained so wasn't their fault. I was told next time(uncomped) they'll make sure everything is okay. Too bad noone made sure on 05/03/2025. Frankly I am afraid to go back and it was my favorite place.

Yelp
Still the same good food as I remember. We went to Happy Hour 4-6. A separate menu was available. We sat at a booth in the bar area. The decor is northern lodge. Lots of wood, and animal designs. We had steak tacos. Three came in an order. The best Brussel Sprouts ever was shared. Our server was excellent. We could pay and split the bill any way. Paying cash saves you a few cents. Take a tour of the facility. There are three private rooms. One is large with a vaulted ceiling and tall windows. A more intimate room has a long dining table for twelve. And check out the smaller room. Restrooms are nice. The restaurant is handicapped accessible.

Yelp
The food was awesome; brussels sprouts were fantastic. Our waitress Gina was fantastic!!! nice decor and the water fountain were nice to look at and provided a resort feel.

Yelp
I've been to Blue Canyon a handful of times over the past 10 years and have never been disappointed. Food/Drink: Hot Chicken Buns (Appetizer special): I think the concept of this dish was better than the actual dish. The chicken was well-cooked and piping hot, but I do think it could have had more going on. Although there was gojuchang and kimchi, I would have liked the chicken to be more seasoned. Watermelon Caprese: For $12.50 I would have liked there to be more than 8 scoops of watermelon, about 8 baby tomatoes, and some mozzarella. The flavor was good, and the balsamic jam added a nice flavor, but again, I would have expected a larger portion for that price. BBQ Pork Chop: This was the best dish of the night! The meat was juicy and cooked well, and the peach chutney was the perfect addition to add a little sweet/savory flavor. The buttermilk sweet corn pancakes were DELICIOUS, but I feel they could be seasoned a little more. Chicken & Shrimp: I only tried the pickled jalapeño cheddar grits, which were AMAZING. I think ordering it as a side would have been the way to go! Ambiance: The setting of the restaurant is always good, and although there are different dining rooms with different styles, they all hold their place while also fitting together, which can be difficult to do. Service: Monica was fantastic! She was knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Everything we needed was provided quickly. Accessibility: The parking lot is huge but there are many handicapped parking spots available for people who require them. There is no step-up or ramp required to enter the restaurant. For larger-bodied individuals, there are plenty of seating options that can accommodate your preference. The bathroom has two stalls, both of which are average size. I do think that it would be difficult for people with mobility aids to use the bathroom comfortably. SCORES: Food: 7/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Accessibility: 6/10 Total: 33/40= 82%= Four Stars!

Yelp
A must try! Was referred to this restaurant and decided to go for my husband's birthday. We didn't get out without a decent bill, but I will happily pay for good food and it was absolutely amazing! It also feels like your in Montana looking over the mountains or at least as close as you can get in NE Ohio! The pretzel crusted trout was something I wouldn't normally chose, but it was almost better than my husbands steak. He kept taking bites of mine! The butter they serve with the bread is mixed with cream cheese and roasted garlic, mouth watering. We finished with crème brûlée and espresso. Make reservations and enjoy an amazing meal!

Yelp
The best thing about this place is the ambiance. Unfortunately, the food wasn't great. We had a group of 5 so we ordered the trout which was actually pretty good. We also ordered two BC burger's - one was soo salty it was unbearable to eat (ordered medium well - came out cooked as medium) and the second was ordered medium and came out absolutely rare. I was so hungry that I had ate half of the rare burger but we wanted to let the waitress know since we weren't checked on in a timely fashion after receiving our food. She stated well I could have taken it back but it was "already half eaten". I replied with yes I was starving. No manager came to apologize about the burgers. My husband got the salmon and it was super buttery. We had our toddler and the restaurant didn't offer a kids menu or any crayons. We probably will not come back here.

Yelp
We love the ambience of Blue Canyon! The staff are so friendly, took our group picture and continued to check on us thru dinner. Apps and entree, great! Love the patio in the summer time!!

Yelp
They practice very discriminatory behavior towards their male employees of color. If you notice there are none working the front of the house, they are all in the kitchen area. The ones that have worked in the front don't seem to last long. The owners brother is the manager. He's either hiding out in the office or sucking down beers at the bar, out of site of the surveillance camera. This place is not as classy as it projects.

Yelp
Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern is a great way to take a trip out to the Rockie Mountains without leaving Northeast Ohio. Located in Twinsburg at Route 82 near the I-480 exit Blue Canyon has transported a Western Ski Lodge to our area. The decor features hewn lumber throughout, high pitched ceilings, wooden beams, fireplaces and plenty earth tones along with art suggesting the great National Parks of the Western USA. With great planning, they have manufactured a view that makes Twinsburg look like you are in the mountains. The overall look is warm and welcoming, especially as the weather gets colder. I was there for a financial seminar, so we were seated at safe social distancing in the back event room. Masks are required, as is social distancing. I did notice that they have added plexiglass barriers at the bar to provide additional protection. The event was well run and the service was very nicely done. For the event we had a limited menu, with a choice of Salmon, Chicken, Ravioli or Steak; although the Ravioli sounded good I choose the fish. The meal started with a nicely composed salad, greens, pickled onions, baby tomatoes, a nice vinaigrette and tasty pecans to add a nice pop. The Cedar planked salmon was nicely cooked all the way through but still moist, sided with crisp green beans and hearty mashed potatoes. Overall a nice plate of hearty food, nothing cutting edge, but a nice meal. We finished the meal with the Chocolate Bomb, chocolate sponge cake topped with white chocolate mousse then covered with a chocolate ganache, a sweet treat. Blue Canyon provides solid American classics well prepared and presented in a unique environment. With the limited travel opportunities during the pandemic, this is a great option if you want to feel like you have traveled across the country without leaving our home base.

Yelp
PROS: Delicious food. Beautiful ambiance. CONS: Pricey. Not open for lunch -- dinner only. A few months ago they had a Brunch Buffet for $20 per person. It was a "packed house" & very nice. BUT they never did it again at that price. Now it's DOUBLE -- $40 per person!
google avatar

Yelp
If you view the pics below, the food was presented amazingly. That's about the best I can say. It was not terrible by any means but "meh". I was curious about a $52 waygu "seems" to be too good to be true. After biting into it, it was tough and didn't have any of the "pop" you get from waygu. It was under seasoned. The drinks were fairly good and service was good. The place was lovely and the view good. I would come back and try something else.

Yelp
Valentine's dinner with my sweetheart! The Tavern space is comfortable and quiet enough for conversation. The variety of different spaces is nice. It was the best calamari appetizer we have had in many years. Tender, lightly crisp breading with a excellent sauce and spicy pepper slices. The pork schnitzel competes with the best in Vienna. And the beef tenderloin was cooked as requested and tender. Side dishes of yukon potatoes and green beans very good.

Yelp
After driving by this place for more than 15 years, I finally broke and decided to take the dive! I made reservations for two and arrived on a snowy frigid night. The interior is reminiscent of a Colorado ski lodge, with wood accents galore and a few taxidermy displays. Upon entering there were several people waiting; however, we only had to wait 15-20 mins before being seated. The restaurant was packed! The menu isn't overwhelming as it is merely a page; however, it offers a variety of salads, seafood, steaks, chicken, burgers, soups, and other tasty options. After pondering the choices, we settled on a starter, baked brie, Cedar Plank Faroe Island Salmon, and a spicy dish of which the name I can't recall. Complementary rolls were brought out, which were warm and came with homemade butter! The baked brie was a sinfully delicious fusion of soft cheese enveloped in flaky dough that arrived on a plate paired with jam and baguettes! The salmon was flavorful and wondefully prepared. Lastly, the service was impeccable given the volume of customers. If you haven't visited this fine Twinsburg landmark, you're missing out.

Yelp
My family made a reservation here a few nights ago for my grandma's 80th birthday. We had a wonderful experience! The waiting staff was very friendly and helpful, the restaurant was very clean, there was social distancing in place, and the food was delicious! When entering, you must have a mask on until you make it to your table. The staff wore them the entire time along with gloves. All the menus were disposable, so they were one-use. We sat on the back, glassed-in patio. It was beautiful! You looked out onto all the trees and greenery outside the window. The whole building has a lovely, log cable feel to it! They also had outdoor patio seating which seemed more casual and had a bar atmosphere. Multiple people from our party got the Cedar Plank Salmon, including myself. It was delicious! I didn't know what to think when I saw the glaze was root beer, but it was the perfect amount of sweetness compared to the meat. A few people got the Lobster Bisque and raved about it, so that is a must! My grandma got the Pretzel-Crusted Trout and said it was amazing! We very much enjoyed our experience as a family! They also gifted my grandma a free dessert for her birthday, which was much appreciated! I hope to make it back here again some day

Yelp
My husband and I have been wanting to try this restaurant as we've heard so many compliments since about it since we've moved to the east side. We had reservations on Saturday night at 6:30, the parking lot was packed. All sorts of parties were inside, you'll definitely need a reservation. There were families, friends, and date night out. I had the beet salad as an appetizer and their lavender lemonade martini. There wasn't much lavender flavor to the martini, which I was disappointed in. As entrees, my husband and I ordered the Buddha bowl and the brisket. My husband really enjoyed the brisket. It was a chilly, wet day in April so the food was soothing. The Buddha bowl was okay. I can see why lots of the female patrons order it. I already had a whole serving of arugula, so I wasn't in the mood to have more. The rice overwhelms the winter vegetables. And overall, without the yum yum sauce it loses some of its flavor. We did not opt for dessert as we were full from dinner, but I have heard that they have a chocolate dessert that is to die for. Our server Monica, was attentive, funny, and definitely knew the restaurant and its offerings well. I know my husband was satisfied with his entree, but I will try something different next time. Decor can probably use some updating. The window treatments and some of the fabric on the chairs is dated. It has quite the hunting lodge feel; lots of wood and a roaring fireplace. The open kitchen is a fun attraction as is the antler chandelier. To me, it kind of felt like more upscale Longhorn. The prices echo my sentiment.

Ruth M.

Yelp
Hostess very rude, servers and food excellent. The pork chop is absolutely wonderful, along with the pretzel crusted trout.

Sara H.

Yelp
My husband and I were in the area, so we stopped in for their weekday happy hour. What an awesome find! The tavern has plenty of space, so we didn't feel like we were shoe horned into the only tiny space in the place that was eligible for happy hour. The service and food were excellent. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well seasoned. They had a nice selection of happy hour menu items- some places only give you 4-5 specials, but there were so many great choices we couldn't decide. We will definitely be back. We had a really nice afternoon!

Yelp
I'm going to go with the full 5 on his but in all fairness I only had a soup and an appetizer. I was dining solo and got a seat immediately at the bar on a Covid Monday. The service was prompt and pleasant and the brandy old fashioned was perfect. The lobster and crab bisque was tasty and the e bowl would have been enough for a meal with the 2 tasty rolls and the delicious white bean and garlic (?) paste. I also had the clams appetizer and they were fantastic also. Now I'm super stuffed and need a nap.

Yelp
So as a disclaimer... I find it difficult to give 5 stars to anyone so this is not a knock.... This is the second time in 6 months I've celebrated an amazing milestone at Blue Canyon. Both lived up to our expectations... can't remember if I reviewed it the first time but we had shared some amazing meat platter for about $90 and it was perfect.... This recent visit was for Valentine's Day... made a reservation with Courtney... she was super, kind, and enjoyable... what one would expect. Had to modify our reservation without an issue and was seated immediately upon our arrival. The decor and ambiance is warm and inviting. It certainly is not a Flemings, Hyde Park or Morton's vibe, but it's clean, warm, well situated and the views are amazing. We each ordered drinks, and shared the potato chip appetizer, the prosciutto flatbread and some chicken thing for dinner... all were excellent. Our server, Neil, was kind and attentive and didn't rush away after engaging in small talk. It was perfect. We suggest trying this place. We will be back. Thanks for reading.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious !!!!! First, the Brussels sprouts appetizer was the BEST Brussels sprouts I've ever had in my life. Next, the pretzel crusted trout was magnificent. Everyone in my family got something different (pork schnitzel, lamb, and duck lo mein), and everything was great. Finished the meal with a $3 scoop of lemon sorbet as the perfect palette cleanser. Great ambiance and super sweet waitress. Will be back!

Yelp
Looking forward to celebrating an anniversary dinner after having a very nice meal at a retirement dinner here that for large group service of 75+ that was excellent...but... Baked brie app was great as well as the bread, Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder but after that, not so much. All 3 dinners, sadly were cold. Strip Steak, Clambake were cold and Bacon Wrapped chicken was warm but side was cold. The second problem started with the waiter not coming by to check (so we could send back) for far too long, pushing 15ish minutes. It was a bummer it took so long for a check in as we would've loved a hot meal. When he finally showed up we were halfway through our meals. One of our guests requested another cup of butter for the clams, telling him the first butter was cold and he returned with a second cold butter. Sigh. The waiter never asked how the meals were, and as he handed the check over asked if we're celebrating a special occasion. We answered yes, an anniversary and he said congrats. Then said I can't reverse those numbers to make something funny? No cupcake with a candle, no nothing. After spending over $300, you'd think there'd be a bit more. Felt very lackadaisical and not what we were expecting. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. After the fantastic service and meal we previously had we were excited to celebrate another occasion, but unfortunately we were let down by food and service.

Yelp
Gonna go with a four star because of the AMAZING service I received as soon as I walked through the door. From the hostess to Mike behind the bar super friendly people. I love checking out happy hours and trying different foods. They fall down in that area with only having one food special a day kinda bums out the eater of the group. I got the Bibb wedge the burger! Mike said I should have added bacon and egg and he was right!!! Haven't been here in years glad I came found a new favorite bar tender.

Yelp
I have been to Blue Canyon twice now, once for their Restaurant Week menu and once to partake in the Clam Bake menu. Both times I had an excellent experience! Sure the prices are a little high, but when you look at the quality of food and the amount you are given, plus amazing service, well it's one of the best deals around. I just went to their Sunday Clam Bake (Sunday's Sept 30 - Nov 18 from 4-7pm) so that is what I will highlight in this review. For $29.95 (plus tax and tip) per person you get: Fresh rolls with white bean cream cheese spread New England style bacon and clam chowder Salad with onion, apple chip, spiced pumpkin seeds A dozen clams with drawn butter Roasted chicken with apple bourbon glaze Garlic green beans Roasted garlic mashed potatoes Corn spoon-bread Then they offer one of their desserts for $3 extra. My dining companion and I both got a free refill on the cup of soup because it was so tasty. Actually everything was delicious. No chewy clams, the chicken had a crispy skin with a finger licking glaze, the mashed potatoes were so creamy... mmm to all of it. We also added a bottle of red wine, Conundrum $46, and our server gave us some very healthy pours to enjoy with our dinner. Speaking of our server, Dawn, - she did a great job, personable, helpful, and kept our needs met without hindering our conversation/good time we were having. Lots of laughs were being had between friends and bellies were stuffed. There was a somber couple maybe in their mid twenties who came in after us and left before us that were sat two tables from us. The entire time we dined I could feel this girl trying to burn holes into my head from her stare. I'd instinctively look over and there she was looking at us and would quickly turn away. When they left the guy turned back around and gave us the stink eye. Listen, if you were having a good date you would have been immersed in that and not obsessed with what tables around you were doing/talking about (heck, the large table of seniors on the other side of us were having a fabulous time too). Maybe they should have gotten a bottle of wine then their date would not have been so dull and boring (and over so quickly). So in the end, 5 stars to Blue Canyon for their special event menus. I would definitely make the drive over from Rocky River again to eat here!

Yelp
Went to this restaurant for the first time on Friday. It was a little hard to find since it's tucked back off the road. My wife and I both had the clambake. A dozen clams, clam chowder, lemon thyme marinated chicken breast, Yukon Gold chive sour cream potatoes, rolls w/ garlic butter and pimento cheese creamed corn. The service was excellent with a very attentive waiter. The clams were very good and so was the chowder served piping hot. The Yukon Gold potatoes were cold and the chicken breast was luke warm. The beer a and cocktail selections were good. All in all the meal was fair albeit the clams and chowder were excellent.

Yelp
One of the most top tier restaurants I've tried in Ohio. The quality of the food the amazing ambiance really made this a great experience to spend time with family. I got a bolognese and the pasta tasted hand made, the sauce was incredible. I even took it home ate it the next day and it reheated amazingly. I will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Great food however if you are not there early most of their specialties are sold out.

Yelp
It's fine...although, I very much prefer their old style and menu! I'll probably try again once they totally finish their remodel. Although, their summer patio is the BEST around!!!
