My husband and I absolutely LOVE Blue Collar. We go almost every weekend to get an iced Vanilla Latte & their breakfast Croissant sandwiches. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming as soon as we walk in and the atmosphere feels so cozy. Theres a great view of the river right while youre eating/drinking and plenty of seating. Highly recommend giving this coffee shop a try 😋

Came in here for the first time a couple weeks ago and loved everything about it! Everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was great, and the cold brew I ordered was incredible. I’ve been looking for a new local coffee shop up north on the northern end of the Rockford/Beloit/Janesville metro since Velvet Robot in Roscoe closed. I think I found it. 😌

As someone who takes their coffee seriously, I’ve spent the last five years living in major cities, always hunting for the best cup. This has become my favorite place to get coffee. The shops interior design, the view over the river, and the staff are all exceptional. I’ve been coming here regularly for over a year and a half, and it’s been consistently great every single time. Can’t recommend it enough.

Google
I love the atmosphere. Both baristas were kind and friendly. They use Ruby Coffee, which we love. My husband had a latte that he said was smooth and tasty. I had a London Fog, and it was just perfect. Go in and check it out. It's a great place to go with friends, or on a casual date, or to just sit and enjoy some solitude.

I absolutely love this cafe! The location, atmosphere, friendly staff, the tastes of the tea and coffee, all great!

Google
Blue Collar Coffee Co. is hands down one of my favorite places in Beloit. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, sip your coffee, and stay awhile. The interior is beautiful, with plenty of seating and a layout that works just as well for catching up with a friend as it does for knocking out a few hours of work. I often bring my laptop here to get things done, and I love that they offer free Wi-Fi. It’s a perfect work-from-café spot that feels both relaxing and productive. The coffee is consistently amazing. I’ve tried several drinks and have never been disappointed. Their seasonal flavors are always fun, and the baristas are friendly, efficient, and know how to make a solid cup. One of my favorite things about this place is the community board where you can “leave a coffee” for someone else. It’s such a small but powerful gesture of kindness, and it really speaks to the heart of what makes Blue Collar Coffee so special. If you’re in Beloit and looking for a coffee shop that has it all, this is the one.

Google
I’ve been here about 5-6 times, and I really want to love this place. About half of the times I’ve been here drinks were okay. Service is hit or miss honestly. Other time they made us a wrong drink, and I didn’t notice until after we left. And the most recent time I got the cranberry orange matcha, and it was the most disgusting drink I’ve ever had. I love matcha, but this one was disgusting. Tasted burnt and just gross. For the price it’s honestly not worth it. Paid over $16 for two hot specialty drinks that were lukewarm. Probably won’t come back!

Google
Stopped by on a bike ride. They allowed us to bring our bikes inside. Plenty of space and really appreciate it. Great coffee and location over the river!

Yelp
Really cool coffee shop in downtown Beloit! I love the vibe in the coffee shop and all the different flavors. They have board games, card games and coloring for the kids (and adults) and I love that they have a "pay it forward" card on their wall for people to buy coffee for their friends/family or just someone in need! I got the mud pie matcha and it was good. The butter pecan chai latte and cookies and cream cold brew was also a hit. Will def be back to try the food and more coffee creations.

Yelp
This place is growing on me. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were good and the seats were better this time. I had the caramel apple chai and they nailed it.

Yelp
Traveled from Phoenix, Arizona for a wedding in Beloit. We always try and find the best local coffee shops when we travel... For Beloit this is it! Atmosphere was great coffee was even better! Thank you.
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful coffee and gorgeous view! Fast service. Tried something I might not have ever tried... and it was delicious! Strawberry Mocha Cold Brew. I was skeptical about the idea of fruity coffee, but I love Chocolate covered strawberries, so I stepped out of my coffee comfort zone and it was a delicious and refreshing afternoon treat!

Yelp
I rode my Triumph motorcycle 120 miles one way to get a cup of Blue Collar Coffee. My favorite blend is "Blue Collar Creamery", it's got a great balance and loaded with flavorful notes that tickles your taste buds to want more! Don't change a thing Blue Collar Coffee Co., you nailed it! Love the place and the coffee more!

Yelp
I ordered a 12 oz matcha latte ($4.75) and it was great! Sometimes, cafes will over-sweeten matcha lattes because of the (let's be honest) grassy flavor of matcha, but I didn't detect extra sweetness in my order. The location of Blue Collar is great and has large windows that look out to the river. It's clean and well decorated. Our barista was patient and informative. I definitely recommend this cafe.

Yelp
Blue Collar Coffee offers excellent service and a cozy ambiance. Their smoothies are fresh and delicious. A perfect spot for a refreshing break! Five stars!

Yelp
The food and service is really good. I enjoy the theme of the shop. The shop fits right in with the ironworks area in Beloit. I don't feel like it's worth the $17 for a drink and a sandwich but it's definitely worth a try.
google avatar

Yelp
Love the new Blue Collar location! Great addition for the river front. Right across from the YMCA which must be very convenient for the fitness enthusiasts! I miss the old location for its character but this larger space was well over do! What a great place! Will come again when I visit home!
google avatar

Jim R.

Yelp
Great old building ambience. Dark roast coffee (my early morning go to) good. Love sitting overlooking the Beloit River rolling by. Somebody commented on internet. Wifi free, working (mid morning, for what it's worth). Thought the price was reasonable, no up charge for using my mug.

Yelp
Best lattes in Beloit, tasty breakfast sandwiches, cool vibe and friendly service. I am so glad we discovered this place on our visit here.

Joshua J.

Yelp
This place is great! My partner and I just came for coffee, but we would come back for the coffee AND the service. I got an oat latte and the espresso is delicious, a very close second to my cafe back home. Not too acidic, not too strong. Really well balanced mouthfeel for both the hot and the iced lattes. The breakfast sandwiches are a good-sized portion and tasted great. The baristas were all friendly, and the service was quick, even on a busy farmers market Saturday. The decor is also chill and unassuming; it feels like a place I'd want to sit and hang with friends. Don't listen to the negative reviews. They're either years old, or written by people who just want to find something to complain about. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely be a regular here. My only regret is that we didn't find this place until our last day here!

Jered S.

Yelp
Breakfast burritos were good and enjoyed the coffee. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Camille H.

Yelp
Stopped in on a whim just because... calm soothing music with blues/jazz/folk feel to it was nice. The stone walls and tree bar top with stools facing the downtown river was relaxing bonus. Coffee was smooth tones and good flavored. Friendly service. Will visit again when in town!

Chloe S.

Yelp
I love this place and come here at least twice a week lol. The workers are always so nice and the drinks are fire along with the vibe.
google avatar

Yelp
Part of the Cafe Trail we did when we were in town celebrating our anniversary. They were having issues that their system went down, so they gave us our drink for free & still stamped our passport. Definitely good customer service & we will certainly stop in next time we're in the area.

Yelp
The place is inviting and nice, not pretentious. It feels warm like a cup of coffee should:) I spend lots of time on the west coast so have become a tad bit snobbish when it comes to my coffee. This coffee is lighter in taste then what I'm used to, but light can be good too :) You can get a splash of whiskey or brandy in it if you like;) If I lived here, I'd make it a regular coffee stop. Nice rustic, warm, kinda sexy atmosphere :)

Yelp
Love this place, great atmosphere, and its nice and quiet inside. Their coffee is so good and their pastries are a great side to go with a hot or iced cup of joe!!
google avatar

Melissa R.

Yelp
This place is a gem. The ambiance is amazing. It's right next to the river. Sip your coffee and watch the water rush by. The staff is friendly and the coffee is delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
Sweet little shop, attentive barista. Seemed like a nice place to catch up with a friend in downtown Beloit.

Yelp
Pretty cute place and good coffee! I got the vanilla latte 16 oz, and I really liked it. Fast service, clean place. I can see myself doing work here whenever I am in this area. Super glad I discovered this place. Also: features free wifi and the water has infused fruit in it. Highly recommend, I think the ambiance is calmer than other chains that might be more popular..if you're looking for a chill study spot. Good to go alone or with 1-2 other friends
google avatar

Yelp
Adorable inside and delicious iced coffee! The interior was really fun and made me feel like I was in a big city versus in Beloit. Definitely will be coming back!

Yelp
This place is a pleasant surprise. Doors open at 6 am and make sure to get your fix prior to 3 pm as they close by then. The staff is more than helpful, friendly and engaged. Almond milk is offered along with sugar in the raw, sugar, honey and stevia for your sweet tooth. Coffee is quite good and from the Wisconsin Roaster, Ruby. I am told the roasters are very involved in the roasting process and go to the source to select the beans. I will be back. Especially for their 6 am opening everyday. Which means I will be bright eyed and bushy tailed to start my work day.

Yelp
bathroom- 5 food-5 drinks-4 service- felt judged also really loud "white noise" sounds like someone playing crochet atmosphere- cozy but everyone was just and there was this white lady with a dumpy, plus place made us feel insecure about being ghetto so 4.9 overall basically a five better than Mocha Moments even if it's pricey.

Yelp
SO this coffeeshop is one of the handful of commercial endeavors owned by the Wealthiest Woman In Wisconsin, designed to dip into the pockets of high-income Chicagoans who come here to play and learn. It all shows. The decor is nice - rusty sheet metal, weathered wood, all speaking to the "blue-collar" origins of Beloit (none of whom, the blue-collared, actually come here). The coffee is ok, and expensive. A 16 oz brewed coffee was 3.53 when I was there. Nothing amazing. So I came back after grabbing some in the morning, mostly for the convenience (I am not sure if there are other real coffeeshops here? Not counting the bad coffee you would get at one of the counters at Beloit College...). Sat down to do a bit of work (it's empty). The internet here is trash. Complete trash. You have to sign up, and say it's okay for them to use your data, both the company "Purple" and the proprietors (so hello Wealthiest Woman in Wisconsin). And for all that, it's slower than a rhino encased in jello. Literally took 3 minutes to load yelp so I could write this pissed off review.

Yelp
My first time at Blue Collar. Interior is rustic industrial and all new!. Very nice feel coming in the door. Ordered coffee with cream and a cinnamon apple muffin. Both were delish. I am critical about the simple things though. Mainly poor lighting at the tables. Ok if you are using a laptop, but not good for doing any type of reading or paper work. The tables are great looking stained wood but the top is uneven by design. fit and form are good but poor function. I spilled my coffee when i slid it over to set down my notebook. Not cool! countertop for sitting, eating, laptop etc. The chairs are not paired properly to the table. chairs are too low or table is too high. the countertop at the window provides a great view of the river and ever changing city scape. I hope some changes will come soon. I want to explore more of the menu!

Yelp
Good espresso drinks made from Ruby Roasters Coffee. They have a decent offering of breakfast pastries and small lunch items, but there better options for food in downtown Beloit. Service was very slow and staff was not engaging with customers at any level. Not a lot of room for customers to linger at length. Love the unique way they add messages to their to-go orders and keep track of pay-it-forward opportunities. Trendy, fun coffee shop to visit when in the area.

Yelp
Came here twice during my stay in Beloit and the first day, I had a single origin coffee in my travel mug and was charged the price on the menu which was $2.75 for a 12oz. The next day I went back, I was charged $4 for the same thing because apparently bringing your own mug is an extra cost for them?! Not sure if the cashier was new but that's literally absurd that it's more expensive to bring your own cup. It was also a busy day and my order kept getting pushed behind others and I waited almost 15 mins for pre-made coffee. Deeply disappointing and won't be back!

Yelp
I've been here twice in the last month. Recommended by my daughters who found it coming home from camping and have visited two other times. Passing through to get to 90 and looking for non-chain coffee spot. Easy free parking nearby. The place is small with a dark wood interior. Spots to sit and free wi-if. Nice and mellow. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and made quality drinks! They didn't hesitate when I ordered a double cappuccino at 3pm on an 80 degree day. We've ordered cappuccino , iced coffees and soy iced lavender lattes... all good. I'd definitely recommend.

Yelp
I posted a review after my first time stopping by and I just wanted to post an updated review. Still 5 stars and I am now a regular here!! This place is always phenomenal, they always know my order and while they are extremely short staffed the quality never differs. They are quick, polite and the fairly priced!!

Hannah K.

Yelp
Best experience here! I was ordering catering for a small wedding party, our location changed, and the manager Andy went out of his way to make sure we got the right food at the right time, just went above and beyond! They wrapped them extra to stay fresh, and separated a vegetarian request completely to ensure no cross contamination! And the sandwiches were delicious! Excellent customer service, employees and food! Happy bride, happy day --- 5 stars!!

Theresa S.

Yelp
Outstanding service, great selection of sandwiches and hot and cold drinks. Inviting atmosphere.

Yelp
Like most of the places in the Geronimo Hospitality Group, it looks really cool but it stops there. Service was slow and disjointed and the coffee was okay at best.
google avatar

Rachel O.

Yelp
Great find if you are ever passing through! The drip coffee was very bold and flavorful, and the croissant was buttery and soft. Very happy we stopped by!
google avatar

Gary A.

Yelp
Excellent service. Very good coffee. Great baked goods. We tried three different items from the menu. All of them were excellent. Very nice rustic ambiance.
google avatar

Andy M.

Yelp
A great small coffee house that is charming inside and is attached to where you can walk inside to the next door barbecue restaurant. This coffee house is very impressive and most of the drinks I tried were excellent and this place is way better than Starbucks. I highly recommend people who enjoy coffee and spend time here their Wi-Fi was excellent and there is great views of people watching and dog walkers out the window
google avatar

Mary K.

Yelp
Delicious chai latte with almond milk and a well-made mocha for my companion. The bakery case looked divine and I can't have gluten but the chocolate twist in particular looked so tasty- flaky, twisted dough with perfect amount of chocolate chips. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
WARNING to artisan coffee lovers: If you're looking for an amazing cup of Ruby Coffee, DO NOT come here. They don't do pour-overs of their single-origin selections, thus making it impossible to taste and/or buy a bag. I stopped by at 4:00PM earlier this week, and couldn't even get a drip coffee (apparently they were done dripping for the day), so I left and came back this morning to at least sample a drip version of single-origin Kenyan before buying. As you might expect, the drip completely ruined a good cup of coffee (and the expensive beans that go with it - upwards of $18 a bag). I was shocked, and left after a few sips, without a bag of beans. Ruby should take heed and should not partner with this cafe. [Plus, they didn't have working WiFi despite being advertised, another downer.]
google avatar

Shawn Y.

Yelp
It is quiet wierd how few reviews there are in the review section since it is only well organized coffee shop in the area. As for the coffee they provided, the latte I ordered is decent and flavorful, and there is a long lasting taste in every sip. From what I have heard, they are currently using beans from El Salvadore and the efforts definetely paid off. Over all quiet joyful experience.
google avatar

David S.

Yelp
Outstanding coffee and easy in/out. Delicious muffins and fresh croissants Close to downtown and campus
google avatar

Carrie G.

Yelp
Latte was not hot and espresso was not strong. Will not be back. Too expensive for a fair only experience.
google avatar

Ally B.

Yelp
Overall good. Not the best but still really good for tea with family. Their rosella tea was good and the coffee was exellent
google avatar

Aaron N.

Yelp
Excellent little cafe located in downtown Beloit. Went there with my pops and we enjoyed a cup of delicious house blend coffee and a tasty pastry. Atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Decor was rustic and dim. Very comfortable. Will definitely visit again upon my return to Beloit.
google avatar

Brad P.

Yelp
Nice addition to Beloit. Enjoying an espresso, cafe Americano and a pastry. ( Espresso in a steel cup seemed to get cold quickly, wonder if would stay hot longer in porcelain).

Lisa D.

Yelp
The quality of the espresso is very good, but incredibly slooowwww service. But the people are nice. Two days in a row I was the only person in there and it took about 15min to make my 2 lattes. No exaggeration. I'd go again due to the quality of the espresso, but not if I'm in any kind of time constraint. It's new so maybe they just are learning? I really want to support local business, but coffee service needs to be faster for me to go back with any regularity.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
They have the best breakfast sandwiches and vanilla lates! (Even better than Starbucks!)

Tim D.

Yelp
I was pleased to be greeted by the staff as I entered. Absolutely love the decor and feel of the shop. Very rustic and "Blue Collar". I look forward to going again and trying out another coffee choice. I had a little too much chai added to my mocha last time. I think I want to come back and figure out my perfect drink! Tim D.

James P.

Yelp
Great coffee, great staff. Seating is limited but they have free refills on regular coffee, if you sit. So that's a winner
