I had breakfast here today. It's a very clean and hygienic place. The employee at the counter is named Jessica. She was very attentive to me and very helpful. I received excellent service. I recommend it to everyone. You should definitely try this place. Please don't forget to tip because a lot of effort goes into this place.

We loved our breakfast and coffee at Blue Elephant. I’m vegetarian and loved my roasted vegetables on croissant sandwich. It was very flavorful and served hot. My husband had the lox bagel and loved it. The theme and decor is fun and attractive. The pricing was pretty standard for LA cafes, but def not the most pricey place. Our two sandwiches and drinks came out to about $40 total. We will be back!

Mellow, tasty food, and solid service. They forgot to bring out a couple of things, which was mildly bothersome. But it was overall a great experience. Kid friendly and pretty easy to get in and out.

Blue Elephant Café had AMAZING food! I ordered the oat meal and the French Toast Combo, a jar of Hibiscus sweetened tea and a mango smoothie. Everything there tasted outstanding! Not a single complaint. The prices are very reasonable and they know exactly how to sweeten and flavor food. Wonderful experience. I highly recommend that you come here and try anything they have. So worth it!!!

This is such a cute little cafe. It has all the vibes, makes it perfect if you just want a quiet cafe to relax in or do some work. The interior is beautiful, the service is friendly, and the bagels and pastries are delicious. I will say there can be a wait at times, so I’m a fan of placing an order (that’s my preference) but if you’re in no rush I recommend enjoying the cafe’s vibes!

TRY THE ICED MATCHA!!! Dude everyone here was so sweet, the quality of the food is great and during my trip I came here 3 times for the iced matcha latte. Perfect spot to get work done, catch up with a friend, or grab a quick meal. The French toast with berries was amazing too!

Came across this place and so glto have tried it. They have a really nice living room vibe indoor with tables to eat as well as tables outdoors. It’s a cool coffee spot for all the coffee lovers. Don’t worry if you aren’t a coffee lover, they have fresh juices for you. I ordered a carrot and apple juice while mom ordered carrots and orange and both were boom. I love turkey and croissants so I went with the turkey, cheese and egg croissant. Added turkey and bacon and it was delicious. A huge plus was the super clean restroom which smelled so fresh. Overall a great breakfast or brunch place. Highly recommend for a first date.

Okay so this is a new upcoming cafe and as much as I want to leave a 5 star review I can't. I am a local and love to try new foods and coffee so I mus give my complete honest review. The service was great! Cashier was friendly and answered all the questions I had. I ordered the loaded breakfast burrito and a latte. I took about 40 min for me to get my food and about 10 min to get my iced latte. The cashier informed me that the coffee is locally brewed and their pastries are local as well. I was not a fan of their espresso it was really bitter and flavorless. The burrito was such a disappointment. It had very little food that it was mainly all tortilla. I've had multiple breakfast burritos and this one did not make the cut. It needed more bacon and on top of that I added avocado and my meal ended up being $20. I don't mind paying that but for a burrito with no flavor and for how small it was I was better off getting a burrito at taco bell. I will however give this place another chance by ordering their french toast and pastries. Hopefully next time I won't be disappointed in the food. Parking will be street parking, they are open everyday 7:30-5 pm

My friend and I dropped her car off at the mechanic and needed breakfast nearby. I checked Yelp and found Blue Elephant, so we walked over on a Tuesday morning -- and it was packed! Always a good sign. The menu had so many yummy options that it actually took us a while to decide, but everything we ordered was delicious. The service was great, too. You can really feel the heart and soul put into this place. A must-try if you're in the area!

Nice cafe in Harvard Heights. It's been on my list to try for quite some time now and I'm glad I finally got the chance to go. The place is very calm and clean. I ordered the avocado toast and house drip coffee. I love the presentation of my meal and that they steamed the creamer in the coffee. I wish my coffee was a bit stronger which may have been from the amount of creamer in it. The avocado toast was good... pretty basic but I'm sure if I had ordered something more it would be great. The ladies working there were very nice. Next time I'm back I will try something more filling and maybe an Americano.

I was in the area and wanted to try a local coffee place. Decided to stop here based on the reviews. We order 4 drinks and unfortunately had to wait 33 minutes to received my order. Once I received it, one of drinks was incorrect. Had to wait again. Terrible service. Terrible experience. They need a bigger kitchen and friendlier staff with experienced customer service. Do not come here or order from Uber Eats.

Located on Washington Blvd, can't believe I had not been here before. It's a nice little spot, its vibe is very namaste zen. I loved the decore, nice place to grab b a coffee and chill. There's WiFi, with sitting inside and outside. Ordered a Matcha latte with oat milk , it was delicious. Froth on top and very silky. Not too sweet and not too tart, perfect balance. Fully loaded burrito in a spinach wrap. Rich in flavor, with eggs, potatoes, bacon, green bell peppers and cheese. Classic breakfast combo, eggs, bacon potatoes and a side of toast. Both these dishes come with a side salsa. They were both tasty. The service was great, very friendly staff and they checked in with their customers. If you're in the area or not I recommend trying this place.

BRUNCH - The food was delicious . We picked up the most amazing food for brunch. We ordered bagels with cream cheese, avocado toast, roasted potatoes, classic breakfast and a breakfast burrito . Everything was fresh and really delicious . The food was totally yummy even the sausage was super flavorful!! Highly recommend coming to Blue Elephant for their delicious food. Service was great ambiance was totally lovely .

Great breakfast burrito. Customizable. Quick service. Before I pulled my laptop out, the food was there. Friendly customer service. No one rushed us out. We worked for about an hour and a half.

Just had a chicken wrap and oh my God so incredibly good wow. My mouth is slightly on fire but in the best way definitely coming back here.

This looks to be a neighborhood favorite. All the coffee drinks were delicious and the serving size generous. The breakfasts we ordered, bagel and lox and everything breakfast burrito, were served hot and fresh. Recommended!!

A vibrant and uniquely decorated cafe with two big blue elephant wall murals and comfy furniture to lounge at, eat at, or even relax after your food a coma. Their menu has various brunch and lunch options, from paninis to breakfast burritos, wraps, and more. You can also pair your food with one of their drinks from the espresso bar, tea, smoothies, and juices. This may or may not be a hot take, but their strawberry smoothie was one of my favorite smoothies of all time. It has brown suga in it and was so fire. I would come back for a smoothie. Going into their breakfast, I got their loaded breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, potatoes, onion, and cheese. I have to say this burrito was not it. The potatoes were spicy for absolutely no reason and were too thick. I swear the burrito consisted of 70% potato. I would definitely disclose to customers that it's spicy.

First time trying this place. Delicious, high quality food and good, fast service. Had the grilled chicken salad and my friend had the turkey panini. Cute place with nice ambiance.

I needed coffee and wanted to try something new, so when I saw that this was highly rated, I rerouted my map to come to Blue Elephant Café. I got the "dirty pirate" at the recommendation of one of the workers because I like a sweeter drink, and it was so unique and delicious! The service was great and it felt like a warm and welcoming space. Will definitely be coming back soon to try their food!

The best lox bagel (add avocado) and cafe de olla in the city. The staff is very friendly and thorough. The space is very lovely, well decorated, and positively welcoming.

Food is to simple for it to be coming out 1hour late every time I've tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt but every time It's a disappointment. If I could give it no stars I most definitely would! Glad I left a review while I continued to wait. Still didn't receive the complete order. Then tried asking me to bring down the review??

Okay this place is a little hole in the wall but I'd say is worth trying. Driving by too fast, you'll definitely miss it. The place is tiny, but will accommodate small groups. Maybe a group of 4 -6 max for a table. The kitchen is staffed by a few workers so you'll have to be patience with your order but I'll say it's worth the wait. I've been to this cafe before the renovation and it was good then and even better now. The burrito was delicious, however you must must must ask for extra salsa to go with it, it just pairs reallly well. The breakfast croissant was delicious as well, however I'd say, they may have put a little too much mayo which made it a tad bit salty, aside from that, the croissant was really flaky and fresh tasting. I had the cafe de olla from here and it was really well prepared, I didn't put a photo because I forgot to take one (sorry!) but worth trying if you like that coffee. Can be a little on the pricey side so expect to spend a little bit you do get quality food. Will come back again!

Such an interesting place to check this beautiful spot out! It's blue, it has elephant art in it and very nice vibrations! Me and my lady ordered some matcha and the service was very on time and accommodating! Delicious food and very tasty drinks!!!

Omg a cute lil hidden oasis in a not so great looking neighborhood. Try this place. When I walked in - the smell was on point. Many customers here too. I'm picking up an order. The customer service is good too. Parking is scarce tho. WiFi so you can get on your laptop. Food is good too.

Fast service, great food, friendly service as well. There are several coffee shops in the area, but this is a proper all-in-one cafe. Drop in here for coffee or food and there is bound to be something you'd like. Good for those who want a best of both worlds. It does get rather busy during peak lunch and breakfast, so keep that in mind as sometimes there isn't much seating available. Although, my friend and I never have trouble when we visit for breakfast or brunch.

Such a good breakfast in a cute cafe! Hubby and I were visiting and decided to stop by here for brunch. We were fortunate to find parking right in the front, especially when it was pouring out. We were greeted with a warm welcome once we stepped in and away from the rain. Employees are friendly and quick to serve. I ordered the Turkey, egg, and cheese croissant with avocado and hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with avocado. For drinks, we ordered the strawberry smoothie and the Dirty Pirate (espresso, matcha, and chai). I was about to order the matcha latte but felt daring and decided to try something new, so ordered the dirty pirate and man it was a great choice. It was so creamy and the sweetness was definitely to my liking. I took a sip of hubby's strawberry smoothie and it was so fragrant and delish. Everything tasted fresh and we left satisfied! We ate our food and enjoyed listening to their playlist of latin music. Interior is cute too and we had a good time! Definitely a great place to stop by to have breakfast and/or lunch!

Cute little cafe! I drove by this shop a few weeks ago and I was really intrigued to come back. On Saturday I was craving some coffee and I remembered I had seen this coffee shop. I walked in around noon and it wasn't too busy. I took a few minutes to look at the menu and the barista told me to take my time and to let her know when I was ready to order. She took my order and my drinks were ready in less than 10 minutes. The decor inside the shop was really cute and it gave me a cozy feeling. This time I only tried a coffee but I would like to go back to try some of their food items. Parking: street parking. They have a few spaces in front of the shop but those might be for pick up only.

Cute and chill spot that Yelp helped me find. The food was surprisingly incredible. Too bad the coffee is not equally fantastic. It's just good-to-average. Plenty of tables and a couch inside and four tables out front. French Toast Combo comes with an egg and your choice of bacon $14.95 Banana And Berries added for $1.50. It was sublime. Orange Juice for $6.50 was fresh pressed. An earlier review intimated that it was some type of orange whip. They just don't understand how the fresh press works. Café Latte is reasonably priced at $5.00 but comes up short. I got a regular coffee to go on my way out and that wasn't even worth the $3.50 price. I'm not sure whether it's the beans are the barista, but it doesn't matter because they failed twice. It's three-star coffee actually. Served with a bit of ennui. But no hate - it's the end of 2022 and we're all worn out. But my breakfast was spot on and I got it at 1pm on a weekday. So they get a four-star review, which factors in that it's a nice place to hang, read, work or eat. Breakfast lovers unite! Street parking in front is free, but limited to one hour. The retailers are nice enough to put signs out front to remind you that it is enforced.

I'm giving this place 4 stars for now and here's why. Today was first time trying this place as I've driven by it many times. I only wanted coffee, and I ordered a red eye with a coffee cake. I walk in and the place is super cute, and clean! I love the decor, the staff is friendly, oh and dogs are not allowed here fyi. I sat in the front on their comfy couch, when I was served I noticed the coffee cake is not fresh at all. The coffee was good tho. They do have a great menu with lotsssss of options. I will be back for sure to try other items, it's just noted that their pastries may not be fresh daily.

So good!!! My bf and I were in the area and found this place. So yummy! The place is booming and rightfully so. We came back a second time since the whole experience was 10/10.

I love love coffee and I am always in search for new coffee spots. Was driving around and I spotted Blue Elephant. I decided to give it a try and it was delicious. I had an iced latte with almond milk and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be returning. They have so many breakfast options and pastries as well. I also loved the decor but I am bias since I love elephants . There's plenty of street parking just make sure you pay attention to the signs.

Had really high hopes for this place! Sadly, we won't be coming here again. We ordered a horchata latte, a white chocolate mocha latte, and a breakfast burrito. We waited 30+ minutes for all of it and watched all customers who ordered behind us receive their order (there was barely a line of more than 2 people at any point). They finally gave us our order and it was completely wrong: mocha, matcha, and a different burrito with no onions. We were very confused because we thought they gave us someone else's order, but they briskly turned away and barely said anything. They clearly were rushing to make and remake our order (with no apologies or anything). It was confusing and took a while. We just opted to take the burrito as is since we were waiting so long. Honestly, if the coffee was good I probably wouldn't be making this review, but after all of that, the iced lattes were warm and watery :( Very disappointing today, as we were excited to try this place out!

This is a cute spot to have a quick meeting, not many other options around the area. I love that they serve organic coffee. Their avocado toast is delicious! There is a variety of sitting areas small 2 person tables, 4 person tables, couch or outdoor sitting. Overall the place is pretty clean and the service people are courteous.

Pretty solid spot for breakfast or lunch. The outdoor seating is dog friendly. The inside is nice a quiet enough to work or study. There are also lots of wall power outlets to power your electronics for uninterrupted work/study sessions. Wifi is available. The service was good, friendly, and speedy. We ordered at the counter and our food was delivered to our table outside pretty quickly. My avocado toast with the over-easy egg and bacon was pretty hearty and balanced in flavor. The fully loaded burrito was really tasty. The bacon had a nice crunch, the potatoes had a good bacon flavor, and the side of salsa added a little extra flavor without being spicy. Iced Tea lemonade was as expected, and the orange juice had an orange whip quality so if you are craving fresh-squeezed pulpy OJ maybe choose an alternative. Overall, the experience was a good one.

Wanted to check out this place, we had chicken pesto panini and tuna burrito. Chicken pesto was little bit salty, and had plain taste. Tuna burrito which my friend got wasn't that good as it had only 1 ingredient -tuna.

Fantastic coffee, a really strong and overall perfectly brewed beverage. Breakfast/sandwich options are fresh, not overly priced, and delicious. Baristas behind the counter are kind and contribute to the ambiance of the cafe. Local gem for sure.

The food is on another level, they have so many options, from delicious croissants to sweet French toast. The drink options are even better, everything is just rlly good. The environment is also very pretty. The paintings hang on the wall make the cafe what it is :)

So so so so good! I had the turkey panini and my husband had the egg and cheese chorizo burrito and both items were absolutely delicious. If I lived in this area I would definitely be a regular. The strawberry smoothie was delicious as well! Not too sweet and perfect.

Came here for the first time this morning and ordered cafe de olla with vegetarian spinach wrap burrito. The burrito was good but the little sala they give isn't enough for a huge burrito. What disappointed me the most was the cafe de olla, I thought it would be good because the reviews but it literally tasted like water. I'd try it again maybe it was a bad morning ‍

the food is AWESOME!! the service leaves a lot to be desired.. coming in on a saturday morning and it was a little busy. lots of people sitting waiting or already eating. it was a very cute place and the team members were sweet but not very willing to answer questions, understandable because there was two people waiting to order after us. we ordered our breakfast burritos and drinks and took a number to eat outside. the wait was long. we sat outside for a while waiting on our food. the drinks came out way before the food. i'm not one to care about wait especially because i was catching up with a friend, but it was so long that we both noticed it. regardless, the food was GREAT!! my burrito was delicious and the side salsa was sooo good... paired perfectly, i finished it before finishing my first half. the smoothie was soooo smooth and it was perfect! sweetness and tart was perfection. my friend's matcha latte over ice was also delicious for that caffeine fix. the restaurant is sooo cute, but the service is very just... fine. i can't recommend coming but i can't recommend not so really if you're fine with a noticeable wait, give it a try. the food is good but they are severely understaffed.

Literally my favorite place in the area I come here WAY too often. The food is incredible, the service is great, coffee is perfect and the place's ambiance is so cute and warm. Couldnt recommend it higher!!!

A Very painful experience :-( we got to wait for 45 mins for our food $ 20 mins for our coffee. I requested for a hot mochaccino but it was served cold & my egg was too salty :-( Did not complain bec it will take them forever & we are already delayed in our trip. I think they are too organized, prioritzing their to go orders over their customers who are dining in. I don't regret the star I scored them, given the taste of what we ordered and the experience. The place is not relaxing either, looks cozy but the music is loud & the kitchen is noisy. Plan ahead before visiting l, parking is hard.

I'm new to this neighborhood and happened to meet a couple that was on a walk. As we spoke the gentleman mentioned I should try this place. I asked if he owned if he really owned the place. He said yes, and I told him I would go immediately. I have to say, the food is great! They actually have breakfast all day. I had a BLT cover breakfast and lunch. I also had the red juice (carrot, orange and beets)

I've been here about 3 times now. My husband and I stopped for breakfast one day before work and the food was so great we kept coming back. The staff is super friendly and everything is made fresh there. I highly recommend their avocado toast and their orange juice. They also have some really nice decor inside
