Blue Eleven

This place is an amazing experience! The food has so many different flavors paired so beautifully with one another. The staff are all very nice and if you sit at the counter to watch the chefs they really draw you in to bring your dining experience to another level. This is a magnificent tasting experience i would love to do over and over again!

I love fine dining and Blue 11 did not disappoint. The seven course tasting menu focused on local ingredients. Each course was better than the next. Our servers were attentive but not hovering. We were not rushed at all. A great birthday celebration!

We enjoyed our 15 year anniversary here. We got the 11 course tasting menu. The service was good and the food was incredible. They were very friendly and took their time to explain the dishes. That said, it was somewhat hard to hear. The lobster was the best dish we had. Strong recommendation if you are looking for a nice night out. The restaurant is located in the heart of the tourist/nightlife area so there is much to do. The only downside I would say is the build out of the restaurant. A little sprucing up the bar area and walls/ceiling would go a long way. That said, it’s fine the way it is. We really enjoyed ourselves. Thanks.

My husband and I dined here this past weekend and, unfortunately, left very disappointed. We initially chose this restaurant based on the positive reviews but, in hindsight, should have paid more attention to the negative ones. We had specifically reserved the chef’s table to watch the preparation process—an option advertised by the restaurant. However, upon arrival, we were told there were no seats available. The rest of the restaurant was completely empty. This was our first red flag. We opted for the 9-course tasting menu at $144 per person (excluding drinks and gratuity), expecting a memorable and fulfilling experience. Instead, we were served incredibly tiny portions—each dish amounted to little more than a tablespoon of food, with thin sauces spread across the plate to create the illusion of something more substantial. While the flavors were enjoyable, the portion sizes were absurdly small for the price. The service was friendly, but it didn’t compensate for the overall lack of value. We left feeling unsatisfied and overcharged. While the concept has potential, the execution falls short. If you’re looking for a dining experience that justifies its price tag, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

I’ve never been more disappointed in a restaurant I’ve been wanting to try for so long. We travel to St. Thomas at least twice a year, and for the past two years, I’ve tried to get reservations at Blue Eleven. Every time I called, I was met with the same rude and disingenuous girl who answered the phone, acting as though I was inconveniencing her by asking about availability. On previous visits, I even called while standing near the restaurant, seeing it was not busy, only to be told they were fully booked. Finally, during this trip, we managed to get a reservation, and we were so excited. Sadly, the experience was far from what we’d hoped. We were seated promptly, but our waitress seemed as uninterested as the hostess. Water and the kids’ meals (mac and cheese and chicken strips) arrived in about 20 minutes, but the food for the adults didn’t arrive for another hour and a half. By the time it came, our children were asleep at the table, and the waitress even asked if we wanted our meals packed to go—absolutely not after spending $30 or more per dish. The food itself, while decent, was not worth the long wait or the lackluster service. It’s frustrating to have looked forward to this experience for so long, only to feel let down at every turn. For the amount of money and anticipation, I wish it had been a much better experience. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Blue Eleven based on what we endured.

Ate here a week ago Sunday. Would absolutely recommend this place. Great food, service, and local flair. We sat at the chef's table which is like a sit-up bar. We ordered the 7-course tasting menu which was perfect for us four.

Some of the best food I’ve ever had. Rarely do I get to say, “I’ve never tasted this flavor before.” I got to say that multiple times during our 9 course meal. Everything was absolutely delicious and flavorful. Better than many Michelin star restaurants I’ve tried in the past.
