A few days ago, we had the opportunity to travel to this beautiful place:|Here are some important facts for those who want to travel:|The hotel is small but beautiful, its facilities are in good condition, and the beach is spectacular (quiet and fairly clean).|The hotel service was very average, although some staff members were quite helpful.|1. If you don't speak English perfectly, I don't recommend this place. Most of the staff are desperate and offer poor service and do nothing to help you (there were some exceptions, with a few Dominicans who work there and wanted to help us).|2. There was a strong sense of xenophobia on the part of some of the staff, and we were treated differently compared to tourists from the United States. They received much better service, and the worst part was that they did it to your face.|3. It's an all-inclusive hotel, but lunch is a limited menu from a single location. There's no buffet or many options. You have to choose from the menu they give you, which is mostly fast food.|4. The service at the bar next to the restaurant is horrible. The man who serves is the most unkind person we've ever met, so much so that we were afraid to order because he always did things in a bad way and was one of the ones who got angry at our poor English.|5. While we understand that it's a place to rest and that everything closes at 11 p.m., including the bars, a place like this should allow the room TVs to connect to various digital movie and TV platforms so that those who still don't want to sleep can at least have that option. However, the TVs only show local programs and it's not possible to watch anything else. Not even the technical staff could help us.|6. The person offering the tours wasn't the most helpful either. We had to find someone who could help us with her. Seeing that we didn't speak much English, she didn't do anything to try to understand us, at least not with our translator.|7. It's a beautiful place and a divine hotel, but if you're Spanish, you'd better look for other options.|8. Thanks to Michael, the pizza maker, the girls at the ice cream shop, and the Dominican woman who worked at the pizzeria bar, who helped make our experience even better.
