Blue Haven Hotel

We stayed 7 nights over Christmas at Blue Haven and it was honestly phenomenal. The setting is unreal — private beach access at Bacolet, a beautiful pool, and ocean views everywhere. The food was a highlight every single day: Chef George’s cooking is outstanding, especially the catch of the day and the lobster — fresh, perfectly prepared, and consistently top level. What really makes the place special is the feeling: boutique, calm, and genuinely warm. The owner couple are wonderful hosts and you can tell the hotel is run with care and pride. If you want Tobago at its best — relaxed, refined, effortless — this is it.

Very friendly staff. Lovely to meet Karl, the owner, who gave us lots of info about Tobago. Fantastic location on the cliff top near Scarborough and easy to access everywhere else on the island, but you do need a car. I wish we had known about a band event on the day we left because we could have extended our stay a bit longer!!|The hotel is clearly quite old, and while it has been re-furbished it cannot be described as plush ... More a basic facility with a reasonable state of repair, but clearly past its heyday, which I believe was in the 1950s. For most of our stay we didn't see any other guests at all which is rather sad. Still, we were very sad to leave and will definitely be back again, having sussed out the geography of the island properly now!!

At first, when we arrived, everything seemed chill. The view was beautiful and the rooms looked decent enough. But very quickly, things turned spooky and uncomfortable. The owner’s wife walked around with the nastiest attitude for no reason, which instantly killed the vibe and made the entire stay awkward. Breakfast? Their “special” was literally dry toast — like, that’s it. No effort, no flavour, nothing. For what we paid, that was laughable. To make matters worse, the entire place carried a heavy, unsettling energy. My girlfriend had constant nightmares, and on our last night the bathroom actually shocked us — yes, shocked us! We couldn’t get a comfortable night’s sleep the whole time, it felt like the hotel was haunted. The only good thing was the view — truly spectacular — but honestly, this place needs serious prayers and that lady seriously needs to fix her attitude. I would never stay here again.

A beautiful secluded hotel nestled on the ocean front. Our room overlooked the ocean and the view was breathtaking. Perfect place to relax and enjoy life. Private beach. Very clean. Friendly staff representing the island's hospitality. | |I worked with the staff to curate our day trips and dinner experiences throughout the island. The lobster dinner on the patio overlooking the sea was a one in a million experience. I increased my cardio by utilizing a natural jogging/walking path. All rooms are true ocean front, giving you a great view from every room.

The Blue Haven Hotel was so relaxing and peaceful. The ocean view from our room was splendid. Also, the fact that they allowed my furry babies (my family) was a plus. I would highly recommend this Hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

What a gem and best service ever. Highly recommended. My wife and I had a fabulous stay at the Blue Haven. Where do i begin with the praise? The location is fantastic, the rooms exceptional, superb views, incredibly peaceful, and above all, the best service ever...... all the staff were attentive, knowledgable, friendly and charming. I stayed at Blue Haven for 4 days and I would HIGHLY recommend it for a relaxing, rejuvenating stay in tobago. Room: spacious, clean, tub, stunning view Service: exceptional from start to finish. Every single person we encountered was helpful, kind, and thoughtful. the team made our stay very special. Food: Extensive menu with choices for everyone and we didn't take a bite of anything we didn't love. Amenities: 1-6 ft pool was amazing. Beach down the steps. Note: the waters are a little rough this time of year. The view is to die for. 10/10. We are already planning a trip back

We had such a lovely stay at the Blue Haven Hotel. The staff was wonderful, everything was spotless and the food was delicious. This is definitely a hotel worth visiting. Thank you so much to the magnificent team at the Blue Haven Hotel! We will be back asap!
