Blue Hill Lodge & Rental Properties

Room was nice size. Could use a microwave. Recommend bringing instant coffee. In room coffee is weak black water. Staff who checked us in is good talker and poor listener. Rooms need more attention. Rooms with connecting door allows you to hear your neighbors. Sheets are rough.

No real complaints, other than the beds being a bit too firm and shaky. However, the staff were very accommodating, and the area is very quiet. Most importantly: the rooms are very clean. *Be aware that you are staying in an area that (depending on your provider) you may have no cell service, and also: wi-fi is not reliable. However, the selection of cable TV channels is very nice (cable package includes "Me TV Toons" which is not available nation wide, so that's a nice bonus). As long as you know what you're getting into, the accommodations are more than adequate.

Nice property, but restaurant closed at 5 pm on a Sunday, with no food options really nearby. So keep that in mind.

Great room. Neat. Very clean. So quiet and beautiful here. Easy access to legendary peace and quiet. Roads are great for walking. Friendly owners. Beautiful grounds. Tons of lawn. Creek in the back. Room was simple but perfect. Grounds are kept meticulously. Lots of care goes into this place. Will come back for cafe and brewery.

I stayed 3 nights at the Blue Hills Lodge, and it much more that a place to stay. The complex was home to a microbrewery, the Russian Mule Brewery. I tried several types of the beer from a light to a stout. They were all good, but the beverage I liked the most was the Hibiscus Ginger Cider.||The grounds included the US Post Office, a beauty salon, wine and spirit store, museum, restaurant, beer tasting room, event center, live entertainment on the weekend (which I totally enjoyed), and a caring and friendly staff. The grounds was beautiful and wonderful. ||My small 9 lbs. dog and I were treated like family rather as strangers and guests. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The only thing lacking was a microwave, but that did not detract from the experience of this wonderful facility.||If I could, i would rate this establishment at 6-star.

This place was so cute. Clean. Staff was very good. Small bar with a small crowd. Singing dancing and good beer. Quiet. It was a pretty drive in the Catskill mountains. Grounds were kept neat. We would go again. 2 queen beds were comfortable with clean room.

Had another excellent stay at Blue Hill Lodge. This is truly a hidden gem in Sullivan County. The tranquility alone is worth it and then on top of that, an amazingly quiet and clean room with private entrance. Owners/Management are very welcoming and are actually happy to know their guests are satisfied with their stay. Always warmly welcomed back and encouraged to return. I hope that Blue Hill never changes and always remains the gem that it is. In all of the hotels/motels in the area, none can compare to Blue Hill. Will continue to be a repeat guest and appreciate the hospitality and cleanliness which is so hard to find these days. Thank you to the staff and Owners, you all are wonderful!

Rooms were basic but clean. Beds were a little on the wobbly side, but wasn't an issue. Friendly staff at the brewery and food was excellent. Quiet area. Overall a nice pitstop. Couldn't park in front near the room maybe the only real negative, but I'd be nitpicking.
