Down stream in the far side of the creek in the shade is the place to be! All day shade. Old slate with the mining groves right here to set the lounge chairs on. Fascinating rocks to look at—in sure there are fossils here someplace. Amazing tree roots in the hillside. Mostly quiet (except for kids laughing, for the most part). Highly recommended.

Our favorite summer hang out..the water is always refreshing and cold,park is always clean and lots of space to park. Get there early to gwt a spot on the water and dont forget water shoes

We have been coming to this place for years, and the land and the swimming hole itself are beautiful. However, I feel if you are going to charge people for use of a natural resource, you should take better care of the land. We always spend at least 30 minutes each time we visit picking up trash throughout the day, and there are often rocks stacked in parts of the water where it causes issues like too much moss or leech populations by constructing the water flow. Prices have gone up over the years, whereas the overall quality and cleanliness of the park has gone down. We do love this place, but there needs to be better leadership.

My family loved spending the day here! Having the concession stand is a huge plus! We will definitely come back!

It is a really nice place to take your family to swim and cool off.

The park was a little hard to find there were no signs at all on the way. You lose signal on youre phone about a quarter of the way there and back , bring a map. The water was cool and clear and clean. We went on Sunday evening and the place was packed we had to go down to the end of the park to find a spot but it wasn't bad the area was shaded and that was nice. The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom situation was not good they were really dirty. The parks people were nice and helpful in explaining the rules of the park. The park absolutely DOESN'T ALLOW alcohol anywhere! There is a big sign explaining it right when you drive through the gate. They will make you pack up and leave ! They want to keep this place family friendly. Towards 8 o clock they drive around and tell you it's getting close to time to close the gates. Other then that it wasn't bad would go again

We had an amazing experience at Blue Hole in Salina, OK!!! Saturday was really packed, came back Sunday and enjoyed a night of "Van-ping"(camping in our van!) And the water was so beautiful. Nicely cold about, 40 degrees. We will be back again!
