Blue Hotel Fagrilundur

Me and my girlfriend spent one night here on our 2 year anniversary. We had a good time and very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms are comfortable and modern with a nice big clean bathroom. The TV had Netflix so we could watch our favourite shows while chilling in the comfortable beds. The location is nice in a quiet spot with no distractions.|We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast very much.|The seld check in process was easy to navigate and comfortable.|Would definitely recommend for travelers in the south of Iceland

This place is lovely with two great hot tubs and the rooms have everything you need. The location is amazing - right next to Friðheimar’s Wine Bar and a 10-minute drive to the new lagoon, Laugarás Lagoon. The hotel is largely self-service, but there’s a phone number you can call if you need any assistance and they’re really nice and helpful.

This is a nice hotel in a good location if visiting the Golden Circle. I picked it based on the proximity to the tomato farm, Fridheimar, a must-visit location if going to the Golden Circle. It isn't far from the Geyser at all. The room was small, but comfortable. There were no washclothes, but each person got one towel and a hand towel. Breakfast was good and included in the nightly rate. There were two hot tubs. I did not sit on the second-floor terrace, but it looked nice. Overall, a good stop if visiting the Golden Circle.

Stayed two nights while touring the Golden Circle. Very quiet. Self check in was smooth and not complicated. There is a self serve drink area and they offer a breakfast. We did not use either so can’t comment. Room was equipped with a two cup hot pot and small fridge. Bathroom had lots of hooks which is always a plus. We used the hot tub about 4 in the afternoon after a full day of hiking and enjoyed it. Had it all to ourselves.

Stayed 1 night here during a 2 day golden circle itinerary. Very convenient and near the major attractions. Rooms are serviceable and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but filled us up well for the day's activities.

Pros|Located not too far from Geysir and Gullfoss.|Hot tubs.|Breakfast is okay (nothing special, but not bad).||Cons|Rather expensive.|They confirmed a queen bed, but a bed consisting of two matrasses put together is not a queen bed.|Some people at breakfast could be more considerate of their fellow travelers. Guest were filling up a water bottle with warm water. This not only took a long time, but by the time the water bottle was full, the machine had run out of warm water. Not very nice.

One of the best hotel rooms from our Iceland vacation. The room as a decent size with a large bathroom. Very clean and a nice outside view. The staff was nice and the breakfast was great!

Clean, modern, has hot tub, good location, comfortable bedding. Self check in/out is easy. Breakfast good. No restaurant but walking distance to Mika and Friðheimar restaurant.
