Blue Social Eatery Restaurant - Launceston

Lovely place to be, cosy atmosphere inside but we chose to sit in the sunroom. Beautiful food, friendly accommodating staff. Highly recommended.

We ordered dumplings, they were quite delicious, a sausage roll which was huge but lacked flavour, a quiche which my partner thoroughly enjoyed and our son had kids waffles.. I think the photos speak for themselves. One waffle for $14.50 which came out over cooked - literally burnt. It tasted stale and overall just foul. We went when there wasn’t many people in so I really don’t understand how you could burn something so easy and still decide to serve it to a KID! Definitely won’t be back in a hurry nor suggest it to other people.

Quick coffee and drink review. In a word, serviceable; however, their larger menu needs to be explored further before I can give this place a fair review The staff were friendly, the drinks were standard. Truth is, we only popped in for a quick soft drink after walking around the neighbouring museum, so I can't really comment on service or food. This said, yep, all the customers seemed happy, the music was pleasant, and I felt that vibe that all successful eateries seem to have. I would describe it as chic casual. As an aside, I didn't find the staff particularly friendly. I smiled at them as we left and one practically glared at me. Hence the 4 and not 5 stars.

We recently had our work Christmas party at Blue, what a wonderful night we had! Estelle was an absolute delight to chat to, nothing was too hard. Food was amazing, drinks and service were top notch. We all had a great night! Thank you so much for a great evening

We recently dined and had the best experience. We were warmly welcomed and treated like the only people there. The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, with fresh quality ingredients. Their special offer of two courses for $40, could not be over looked. Our steaks were cooked to our individual perfection. After a wine or two, we let our hair down and went for dessert which did not disappoint our taste buds. Overall, Blue Social Eatery offers a perfect combination of stunning food and heartfelt service. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a book club evening like we did.
