Outstanding nature here at this resort. We had basic rooms at the start but found them too near where the kyaking was and wanted AC so we upgraded to the hilltop bungalows. What a great decision! The rooms were lovely and the bathroom in particular was very nicely arranged. The big bed took the cntre of the main room and had views of the sea. Panoramic views of the beach a resort from the balcony.|We were well looked after by Suresh and the team and found the foood in the restaurant to be fresh and very tasty. We avoided any european food, even as a veggie we had lots of choice - vegan not so much but that was to be expected with all the ghee. Buy the coconut water from the lady on the beach, she is lovely.|The lodges are not sealed, and I had quite a big gap in the bottom of my door and by its location there is going to be nature, you can't kill everything in the tropical forest! Yep, something jumped on our bed in the night - eek. As others said the road is terrible in and the villagers have taken it upon themselves to organise a service which is quite expensive. It's my understanding that it is not connected to the resort. It can be driven if you are brave enough. Took a boat trip to see dolphins and were rewarded with a sighting. Take your cossie as they will let you off for a swim, we didn't know that. I would return to this resort.

Perfect place for a complete reset and digital detox. No better place to get lost for a good lazy weekend. Reaching the place needs a good self driven car which can off-road well or park your car a mile before in the parking area and request a pick-up drop from the hotel/resort. Kayaking is available here too. Rooms/cottages have excellent sea-view but not much equipped for creature comforts.

The resort is located on a peaceful, secluded beach, making it a great spot to relax. I expected it to be very hot in March based on reviews, but it wasn’t bad - the AC worked well, and there were no power issues. However, it is quite hot and humid outside. Since it’s a silent beach, there are no shacks or other activities nearby. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, this is perfect. The resort offers dining facilities, and while the food is overpriced, the portions and taste are good. Service is excellent. One thing to note is the approach road - it’s rough, as the resort is at the edge of a cliff-like location. If you’re driving a hatchback or sedan, it’s better to park and request the resort’s Gypsy for the final stretch. The ride is bumpy since it’s off-road, but it’s worth it for the experience. Overall, a great place to unwind if you’re looking for peace and relaxation.

⭐ 2/5 – Beautiful Location, Terrible Service Blue Lagoon Cola Resort is in a stunning location with breathtaking beach views and a nearby kayaking excursion that offers some of the best scenic experiences in Goa. However, the resort itself was a massive disappointment, mainly due to its poor service and lack of basic hospitality standards. Overpriced and Unfair Pricing Goa generally follows the norm where water is free for guests, and drinks or other items are sold at MRP or slightly higher for those staying at the resort. However, at this resort, the prices were excessively high for both guests and visitors alike. We stayed for three days in three rooms, and yet, they only deducted the cost of three bottles of water—one bottle per room for the entire stay. This is simply unacceptable. Providing drinking water should be a basic courtesy, not a luxury. Horrible Room Service and Cleanliness The room service was non-existent. They showed up on the first day to show us the rooms and then disappeared completely. We had to clean the rooms ourselves. Just because it’s a beach resort doesn’t mean housekeeping can be ignored. Sand and dust accumulate quickly, and it was frustrating to be left to deal with it on our own. Additionally, the lighting in the rooms was terrible, making the stay even more uncomfortable. Transportation Woes – No Proper Road One of the worst experiences was getting to the resort. There is no proper road access, and reaching the resort involves about 3 km of off-road travel on a dusty, uneven path. There are no streetlights at night, making the journey dangerous. Twice, we nearly fell while navigating the rough terrain. By the time we arrived, our clothes were covered in dust, and the air quality was so bad that it left us coughing. To make matters worse, the resort charges extra for transportation despite this inconvenience. The Only Saving Grace – The View The only redeeming factor of this resort is its stunning location. The view from the resort is one of the best I have ever seen, and the nearby kayaking excursion is a wonderful experience with breathtaking scenery. But unfortunately, that alone does not make up for the poor management and service. Final Verdict If you’re planning to visit Cola Beach, you might enjoy the view, but I cannot recommend staying at this resort. The lack of hospitality, overpriced services, and difficult access make it a frustrating experience. Unless the management improves, this resort is not worth the money.

Our stay at Blue Lagoon Resort was excellent! The location and ambiance deserve a full score-truly a stunning and peaceful retreat. The food was good, but as a Goan hotel, it would be great to have more local Goan dishes instead of primarily Punjabi options. One thing to note is that the road to the resort is not a tar road, making for a bit of a bumpy, rocky ride. However, the beautiful setting more than makes up for it. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we'd love to return! The amenities are decent, with comfortable accommodations and basic facilities. While the resort is generally safe for families

I stayed at Blue Lagoon Cola Resort for three days in three rooms, and while the location was stunning, the overall experience was terrible.||First, basic hospitality was missing. Drinking water is a complimentary service at most resorts, yet here, they only provided one bottle per room for the entire stay. This is unacceptable. Guests shouldn’t have to argue for something as essential as water.||Room service was nonexistent. The staff showed us the rooms on day one and then disappeared. We had to clean the rooms ourselves, which is completely unacceptable. The lighting was also poor, making the rooms feel dark and uncomfortable.||The worst part was getting there. The last 3 km is a dusty off-road stretch, with no lights at night. We nearly fell multiple times, and by the time we arrived, our clothes were covered in dust. To top it off, the resort charges extra for transportation, despite the terrible road.||The only redeeming quality was the breathtaking beach view and nearby kayaking, but that doesn’t justify the terrible management. If you visit Cola Beach, enjoy the view—but stay somewhere else.

1) access, about 3 hrs/100 miles from airport, going thru narrow streets & villages - the last 25 mins/10miles is unpaved rocky roads. Of that the last 15 mins is inclined and more rocky. We had a 4*4 (Thar 2 door) for this terrain, but was still uncomfortable.|2) destination: rocky beach with a big drop, there was a life guard sun up to sun down keeping anyone away even if they got ankle deep. No cell ph signal at all. But the place has a lot of wifi routers.|3) rooms are built barn style but finishing is very crude. Bathroom was very well done, good clean water. |(non-A/c) are closest to beach(~100m) that 3 of my friends took 3 rooms.|I needed an a/c one and these are one level up on the hill side. Great view of beach. But the moment I entered the room noticed droppings, entered the bathroom and saw a 6 inch rat scurrying & and ran up to the gaps into the roof joints. This is what i meant by crude, too many gaps in the construction. And this room had droppings even on the mattress. Checked 2 other rooms and same story. The 4th didn't have any droppings in the bedroom but did have in the bath. The guy said since this is in the wilderness, and due to lack of occupancy in the a/c rooms rats are there! Unacceptable- but couldn't move out at 8pm and find another place. Trapped. |5) Restaurant- average, that said the seafood dishes were abysmal. Horrible Calamari preparation.|Eco-friendly utensils (not a single disposable)|6) the staff assigned to our group of 4, gem of a guy. Took care of us well.|All put together staying here was a terrible mistake. I cannot fathom why anyone would pay to stay at this place: rats + points 3, 2, 5 & 1(maybe the thrill of driving that treacherous road).|Went to India after a long time, and first time to Goa, and this was a bad experience.
