Put your sweatpants on because you get plenty of food for a great price. The staff is like family and the atmosphere is calm and comfortable. Street parking so you might get lucky. Best Jamaica spot around.

So I love Jamaican food, preferably Curry goat. I was craving some for lunch today my and Blue Lagoon was less than a minute from job. I seen it had pretty good reviews but wanted to try for my self. I was not disappointed. The owner was very nice and Holds his service and food to a very high standard for his customers. He has a open kitchen so you can see everything in the back and it was so clean. I got a curry coat platter with rice and peas Mac and cheese and a Tingz grapefruit soda. Everything was delicious I had so much food, it ended up being my dinner too! Will definitely be back very soon! I spent about $23 on my food and drink and left him a $3 tip.

I came here about a month ago, and the food was so good (plus I had a nice portion size), so that gets it a four star. The place however, wasn’t the most sanitary, and the workers don’t necessarily wear gloves. That’s not the most important to me, but I wanted to let others know and leave an honest review. Other than that, pretty great and you get what you pay for for sure! Will be back.

If you love fat platters to go this is the place to get it. You'll get your money's worth, it'll last 2 days .I go here every Friday lately ,we love it there. The meat is nice and tender .His sauce is so good his customer's say he should bottle it up and sell it separately. The vegetables are always banging.The rice & beans are cooked to perfection. Plus the owner is nice to talk if he's not too busy.

So, I tried this place twice. My boyfriend got the food for me. The first time I got pepper steak, mac and cheese and cabbage. The pepper steak was good, but it was loaded with peppers and onions. It was more peppers then pepper steaks, which was kinda weird. But the little steak I had it was nice and tender and flavorful. The cabbage had vegetables in them {e.g., corn, peas} and this was my first time every having this. I did not like it at all. However, the Mac and Cheese hands down was very good. I mean a 10/10. My only issues are you go there for a dish and the dish is not ready. According to the guy "ITS MADE TO ORDER" and then that's about 20- 30 minutes from that point. The 2nd time I went I had jerk chicken. The inside of the chicken was a little pinker than what I wanted. The rice was a bit hard. So, I think after the 2nd time I want go back again, the complete meal has to be at least an 8 not just certain foods.

The best Jamaican food! If you are vegan you can get their sides and they do not make the jerk sauce with their meat! Great customer service, clean, food is so good and if you do eat meat this is one of the only Jamaican spots I know that has white meat.

I ordered from Boston on Grubhub and they messed up the whole order. The owner went out if his way (during the Covid crisis I want to add) to deliver the food himself and it was beyond amazing of him. It was for mother's day and he really saved the day. Good food and a business that deserves support. Thank you for doing such a good thing for my family.

Well, let me start from the beginning, the restaurant is a dump, they don’t know how to cook and their cream of crab soup tastes like a garbage. Yet, they charge 22% tips and a sure charge. I don’t recommend this dump.
