Blue Lagoon Resort

I had a fantastic stay at Blue Lagoon in Trinity Beach. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed, and the pools and gardens created such a relaxing atmosphere. It’s in a perfect location—just a short stroll to the beach and great local cafes. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. I’d happily stay here again.

You can relax here with 3 pools plus a lifeguard netted beach walking distance. The rooms are perfect with everything provided & staff are kind & helpful. The bed was comfy, wonderful shower & no bugs. The bus system runs often & the stop is nearby. I recommend Blue Lagoon Resort.

We really enjoyed our return visit to Blue Lagoon after a 13-year gap. It has all we look for in a holiday resort - great location, great facilities and spacious accommodation. The pool is especially notable - an interesting curving shape but still offering a 25-metre lap swimming option.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the Blue Lagoon Resort. We were looking for the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in town, and this resort delivered exactly that. Compared to other places we’ve stayed in Cairns, Blue Lagoon stood out for its spacious and open apartments. It also had a sunny balcony that is definitely appreciated in the winter months. The resort is welcoming and a perfect family friendly option. Every area of the resort exceeded our expectations. It’s conveniently located close to restaurants and the beach. The facilities are fantastic with two swimming pools and tennis court. The lagoon pool is heated, making it ideal for enjoying the winter sunshine while overlooking the beautiful lagoon. Highly recommend it and will stay again.

A great place to stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well appointed, ideal for a self-catering stay of a couple of days or a few weeks. Blue Lagoon is well-located, being an easy 5-minute stroll to the beach and shops. Additionally, there is a choice of four very good cafes / restaurants almost at the entrance to the resort. The reception staff were friendly and efficient; using the on-line check-in facility, we were able to collect our key after office hours.

Top 10 stay in Cairns, we'll be back! We stayed at Blue Lagoon Trinity Beach for 2 weeks and loved it. We were looking for peace and quiet, a comfy bed, a sunny morning deck, a clean kitchen with good pots and bowls, and high-speed internet, this place ticked every box. The manager Brian went above and beyond, he provided us with a brand-new smart TV and replaced a faulty dryer with a new one right away. The new Starlink internet wasn’t perfect in our unit yet, but Brian assured us upgrades were underway. We were able to use our own phone as a router in the meantime. The pools were fantastic, and the resort was calm, clean, and well-located. The staff were always helpful and professional. After 20 years of visiting the Cairns region, this spot has made it to our Top 10 stays, and we’ll definitely be back.

Great place to stay short or long term. Super friendly admin team who are amazing. Cleaning team are fantastic. Close enough to beach, restaurants and cafe's to walk but also not affected by weekend noise. Great pools and tranquil little lake to walk around. Highly recommend.

Beautiful one bed apartment overlooking pool was perfect for my 4 night stay. In a great location, only minutes from the restaurants and the Esplanade. Only complaint is that there were no extra blankets in the apartment and it was chilly one night and I couldn't get the AC to blow out warm air. And reception is not manned after 1pm on weekends so I couldn't get any help with it. I would definitely stay there again!

Amazing. Helped with tour bookings and even had someone pick us up free of charge. Nice balcony, used 2 of the pools and they were amazing. Self cooking and bbqs are supplied however short walk to restaurants and the beach view restaurants. 10/10 would stay again

Fantastic Apartments, great staff and even better views. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, will definitely come back and recommend!
