We love coming to the Blue Manna every time we head over to the South West. The seafood is very fresh, premium and expertly cooked to perfection. The service is outstanding. Cocktails are perfect. My husband doesn’t eat a lot of things and the service staff are willing to accommodate him. We could eat their delicious baked bread and truffle butter every single day (though we would gain 20 kgs lol). Highlights for me are the bread and truffle butter, baked miso mayo oysters, seafood stew with polenta, and linguine marinara. Crème brûlée is also absolutely divine. As an Asian, I tend to notice when Asian dishes are prepared by non-Asian chefs. In the case of the Blue Manna, authenticity is preserved because their chefs are top notch and know how to cook real Asian dishes like whole fish and curries. Thank you Blue Manna Bistro for delivering outstanding food and service consistently.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Blue Manna Bistro – truly to die for. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive and seamless, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. Every dish tasted like the very best of the ocean. The oysters were fresh and briny perfection, the soft-shell crab was crispy, delicate and packed with flavour, and the fish of the day was cooked beautifully – tender on the inside with a curry sauce that was the perfect bold and fragrant complement. Each bite showcased the quality of the seafood and the skill in the kitchen. If you’re a seafood lover, this place is everything and more – an absolute must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely beautiful meal from start to finish. Highly recommend the oysters, garlic prawns and pork belly for entree. Pasta, fish and fillet steak for main meal, everything is delicious. We have been now numerous times and the staff have always been very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to make our dinner more enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back to Dunsborough and return to this beautiful restaurant again.

Am so accustomed to poor service in WA it was a real treat to go to Blue Manna and be looked after so well.My waiter helped with my choices which was important as I was dining alone .I wanted to try as much as possible so choose to have a combination of starters and entrees with 4 small dishes to get the maximum choice and no main course. All seafood , each dish perfectly cooked, and as requested, a comfortable break between each one .There are many reasons to visit this region , have just added Blue Manna to the list , will be back Bookings essential

Returning to Blue Manna every time we’re in the region and I cannot fault them - such a treat on every level. The warm and accommodating but not overbearing service truly makes a difference. Among excellent seafood, the starters were the highlight this time. A tuna carpaccio with perfectly balanced flavours including bursts of citrus, and a special of glazed spare ribs - possibly the best ever! So glad to see them going strong.

The chef at Blue Manna Bistro prepared one of the best meals I've ever tasted, anywhere. I would plan a return trip to Dunsborough just so I could enjoy another meal here. I started my meal with three baked oysters. Yum! Then I had the fish of the day (barramundi) served on top of risotto and veg. The flavors were outstanding, especially with the sauce that was smooth, buttery and just a hint spice. To top it off, my table overlooked a small creek, which added some pleasing tranquility to the entire experience.

A great place to eat if you are staying in Pullman Bunkers Bay. Specialists in seafood but also have steaks, duck etc. Go for Crabs. Staff are very friendly and the kitchen staff are professional (its an open plan) but make sure you book as it's a busy place.

The food is mostly good. The crab legs were meatless. We're not sure about its kindness and intentions, particularly when they asked if this was the first time we travelled here. Just want to notice the owner that the first time may be the last time. They could have told us that the full moon season was not ideal for crabs. I assumed the chefs were able to select good crabs.

I'm very frustrated with Blue Manna Bistro, mainly because of the underdelivery of flavor in the food and especially when this place seems to have so much potential. PROS: The staff. Everyone is friendly, kitchen seems very organized and you sense a great vibe among the staff. This eases the guests into the restaurant's vibe so you are prone to have a good experience. Drinks were really good as well. We ordered a cocktail and it was very well balanced. Didn't check the wine catalogue. Open plan kitchen gives the place a different air, but also creates some isues. More on that under CONS. CONS: Flavor. Unfortunately, food was underseasoned. We had a variety of dishes and the common theme was the lack of seasoning. It might have been a bad day in the kitchen but most food items lacked seasoning. This was most apparent in the calamari wok dish and the bread. The bread looks very promising, but lacks salt. The kitchen uses a technique where they either par bake the bread and finish it in the oven a la minute or they just heat it up before serving. We had 2 dishes with the bread. The first bread came out warm on the outside and cold inside. The second bread (which was left longer in the combi oven) had hardened up considerably so the crust felt like old bread. I would suggest the chefs to revisit the bread. Find a good bakery that makes excellent bread and source it from there. It's clearly not the restaurant's forte. There was also an apparent lack of desert items. The only cake available had very weird texture. We were watching the chef making it, he seemed to be in a hurry and he messed up a few orders, including ours. This wasn't his day. Lastly, the open plan kitchen creates a difficulty with kitchen logistics. For example, staff would have to take the trash in front of the customers through the front door. They should have a different layout where trash goes out the back. Price was not cheap. Overall, an excellent (would have been) restaurant with so much potential. We were critical of the review because we had high expectations going in, the staff was fantastic and prices were high. I hope they fix the issue with the food
