"At Blue, blink and you may think you’ve landed on a different island. Sleek and mod, this cocktail lounge in the lobby of Oranjestad’s Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino is evocative of European discos. Sushi and tapas enhance the international vibe, as does the drinks menu, which is heavy on specialty martinis. Guests can also look forward to weekend DJs, cool blue lighting, and, since this is Aruba after all, sweeping ocean views. Happy hour, which takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily, offers drink specials and a stylish scene for watching the sunset."

Our favorite bar in Aruba! The drinks were great and they have a happy hour, select drinks were half off during certain afternoon hours. The Sunset by Jacky was delicious as well as Flowers of the Caribbean and Carnival. It’s on the rooftop of the Renaissance Hotel. Highly recommend this bar if you’re vacationing in Aruba.

We were staying at the Marriott here so of course we had to try the Bar here. We really enjoyed all the times we came here (cause we came here more than once). The reason I did 4 instead of 5 stars is because when you try all the places for food that Aruba has, you feel like this is below that quality. Still good, just not as amazing. The drinks were amazing and the service and the bartender we always had , Alejandro was great. Easy to get to your room after you have had a few drinks. If the food was like all the other places I'd say 5 stars, but it is definitely a place to check out especially if of all you want is a good drink.

Nice bar. The food here is good if limited. The wok noodles are good and are to be recommended. We also sampled the chicken waffle, bit of an acquired taste along with the pulled pork tostada, which was very nice. The molten chocolate cake failed to have a liquid inside. The wine is served in tiny thimbles. Not bad overall.

Very bad service, they aren't unfriendly but they are excruciatingly slow and do not check up on tables. Food items are good; flatbreads are essentially a deep dish Square using what seems like melted cheese over (ALOT of) focaccia bread. Salads are decent. Drinks vary depending on what you order. The signature aruba arriba can be watered down some days other days pretty strong. They do offer poolside service which is a plus but similar slow service doesn't do it much justice.

The service at the bar is terrible…I felt my husband and I were completely ignored. It was slow with about 3 other customers at the bar….i had to ask repeatedly for service. Atmosphere and food were great but poor customer service.

A lively bar with a vibrant crowd, offering an excellent selection of cocktails and premium drinks. The atmosphere is lively and refined, perfect for enjoying a night out. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s expected for the quality and experience in Aruba.

We enjoyed a few drinks here and a very simple meal, it wasn't a show stopper but the service was friendly and it was easy since we stayed at the hotel. It did get a little loud for us to want to hang out there though, and the food isn't super special - but still - an easy choice!

Can get real hot in here, especially during happy hour part of the day, but we really enjoy Blue. Over the past couple years, the service has improved dramatically. We rarely wait for drinks, even when packed out. We always try and look up Javier, who is one of the managers and a super great guy. Renaissance is our favorite hotel on the island.
