It's hard to know where to start. December is a great time to visit as the weather is perfect in the Dominican Republic. The bungalows are not air-conditioned, nor do they need to be, it is so pleasant and they are nice and airy with comfortable beds and good solar water heating. Every thing is immaculately clean. Other than sleep I can't say I spent much time inside though. There is a lovely pool area with palm frond covered shelters and beautiful tropical flowers everywhere. The hosts-Gideon and Eneyda are very environmentally conscious and that is so important in such natural surroundings. The speciality of the house is a wonderful Indian meal and regular meals are mostly delicious Dominican food. The Indian meal is more than food but an amazing ambiance with music, incense, traditional decorations and seating on cushions. It doesn't stop there-there is full range of both tropical cocktails and the more traditional as well as wine and beer! I loved every minute of my stay.
