From the iconic Three Sisters rock formation to the scenic lookouts like Echo Point and Govetts Leap, every spot feels like a postcard. The air is crisp and fresh, and there’s a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation for all types of travelers. What makes the Blue Mountains even more special is its charming towns like Leura and Katoomba, filled with cozy cafes, local shops, and friendly people. The area is rich in natural beauty and cultural history, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers alike. Whether you're hiking through the rainforest or riding the Scenic Railway, it's an unforgettable experience.

Our tour guy Les was fantastic, cheerful and very knowledgeable on a wide range of topics. Cable cars rides were great but very crowded . A lot of walking so wear comfortable shoes . The stop for lunch was a bit hectic as the little town was bustling.

Highly recommended. I took a Biator tour and worth it as we did it all, including the zoo. Multiple views and beautiful even on a cloudy day. Be PREPARED for the cold if it’s 50 or under. The wind and dampness makes it extra cold - I’m talking fleece, hats, gloves, jacket or parka. Take the time to do the trams and railway. Fun and more views including a beautiful waterfall. A worthwhile experience!

The Blue Mountains in New South Wales is a breathtaking destination that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and family-friendly adventure. Our recent visit was nothing short of magical, filled with awe-inspiring landscapes, thrilling experiences, and cherished family moments. One of the highlights of our trip was visiting Scenic World, where we experienced the famous Scenic Skyway, Cableway, and Railway. The Scenic Skyway gave us a stunning aerial view of the vast Jamison Valley, the majestic Katoomba Falls, and the iconic Three Sisters. Suspended high above the rainforest canopy, the glass-bottomed cabin added an exciting thrill to the peaceful glide across the cliffs. The Scenic Railway, known as the steepest passenger railway in the world, was an adrenaline-pumping ride that took us through a tunnel and down a sharp incline into the lush forest below. Our kids loved the adventure, and the descent was both fun and exhilarating. The Cableway offered a more relaxed journey back up, giving us uninterrupted panoramic views of the valley and surrounding escarpments. Another memorable stop was the Echo Point Lookout. From here, we enjoyed sweeping views of the Three Sisters rock formation and the vast Blue Mountains wilderness. It’s a must-visit spot for anyone seeking iconic photo opportunities and serene moments of reflection. Throughout our visit, the region’s natural beauty, fresh mountain air, and well-maintained facilities made the entire experience enjoyable and accessible. The walking trails, viewpoints, and interactive experiences were all family-friendly, making it a perfect getaway for both adults and kids. In summary, the Blue Mountains provided us with a rejuvenating escape filled with nature, excitement, and unforgettable memories. It’s a destination that truly lives up to its name and is an absolute must-see when visiting New South Wales.

This is a beautiful place, you can visit during snow fall. You can find three sisters, Katoomba falls, cascades, valley, etc. Adventure lovers this place is for you, you can hike around or also follow the Guided bushwalks. You can find lots of cafes and gift stores here to buy your favourite souvenirs. Enjoy the sunrise and sunset here, you will really love those transitions. You can directly go to Blue mountains through self drive or you can go through train and get down at Katoomba station. We have train connectivity to this place from Paramatta. If you choose to go by train, from Katoomba, you can either go through self drive through cab services or you can opt for blue mountains explorer bus, which is a hop on hop off bus which runs around the popular stops across the blue mountains. You can buy the hop on hop off pass with the Blue mountain scenic world pass, and you can really enjoy the places. You can buy these passes at Sydney tickets site or the official sites. There are other experience like Cruises etc which you can try out which are at additional costs, checkout the website and buy the pass which best suits you. The scenic world is a must visit, you can enjoy Skyway, Walkway, Ropeway, Railway. The railway here is the steepest and you will really love the experience here. You can walk around the place using a walkway and I really recommend trying all the ways, exploring all the places around and living in the experience. I really got disappointed with Cascades to be Frank, the pictures were amazing on the internet but the actual experience, there is nothing that great.

Blue Mountain is a beautiful place to visit. When we went there, it was a rainy and cloudy day, so we couldn’t see much at first. But later, the weather got better, and we got to see the amazing views and the famous Three Sisters rock formation. The mountains were tall, the trees were green, and the air was fresh. It’s a great spot for hiking, taking photos, and enjoying nature. Even with the rain, we had a fun time. Overall, Blue Mountain is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. I highly recommend it!

Australia feels like a second home to us, and the Blue Mountains are no stranger to my wife and me. This trip, however, held a special place in our hearts—it was the first time we brought our kids to experience the breathtaking beauty of this natural wonder. As with every visit, we drove up to Scenic World, a favorite starting point for exploring the area. After purchasing our tickets, we hopped on the cable car, which offered stunning panoramic views of the lush valleys and the iconic Three Sisters rock formation. The kids were wide-eyed with excitement, and seeing their reactions made the experience even more memorable. Once we reached the trails, we ventured deeper into the terrain, surrounded by towering eucalyptus trees and the soothing sounds of nature. We kept a lookout for lyrebirds, hoping to spot one in the wild. Although we didn’t see any, we were thrilled to encounter flocks of kookaburras, their cheerful calls echoing through the forest—much to our delight and the kids’ amusement. We spent nearly half a day hiking across several scenic spots, stopping often to take in the views and snap photos. One of the highlights was reaching a waterfall, where we paused to rest and let the kids splash around a bit. After working up an appetite, we enjoyed a hearty lunch at a cozy local café, soaking in the relaxed mountain-town vibe before heading back to the city. It was a truly pleasant trip, filled with fresh air, laughter, and unforgettable moments. If you're someone who loves outdoor adventures and family-friendly experiences, the Blue Mountains are a must-visit destination. Travel Tip: If you're planning a visit with kids, bring along a light jacket and sturdy walking shoes—the weather can change quickly, and some trails can be uneven. Arriving early helps you beat the crowds and gives you more time to explore at your own pace. Also, don’t forget to bring binoculars or a bird guidebook—it adds a fun layer of discovery for the little ones!
