The food was just okay. The shrimp tacos I ordered came with rice and charro beans, but unfortunately, the beans were cold and the rice seemed to have been microwaved ☹️. Also, the booth we sat in was not properly cleaned and we had to take care of it ourselves.

A Del Rio hidden gem for those occasionally in town. A watering hole with great food to match, as I was in town for business and tried their options. The chicken wings and onion rings were beyond my expectations, and the southwest chicken was delicious.

This place never misses when it comes to food! The waitress, in fact everyone, was so friendly and helpful. They all seem to work well with each other, I really like that. Our food was amazing as always! Super fresh and the portion sizes are great! I felt it was very worth the money. The cocktails were a little small, but did the trick like a big one! They have a huge beer selection, and tons of tvs for sports and things. The atmosphere is more bar than restaurant, but I'm cool with that. As a whole it could use a little remodeling but it doesn't take away from how great the place is! I highly recommend! Also the green salsa was super spicy, if your into that lol

Great local atmosphere and menu! My favorites are the catfish platter and the Baja Fish Tacos. I am usually not a fan of fried fish, but theirs is delicious! The breading is light and well seasoned. The wait staff is super friendly and helpful!

First time here, place was nice, service friendly. The plates we ordered were average, I've had a lot better in San Antonio for a little lesser price but food was still ok, the beans were a bit bitter not fresh unfortunately, fries, tacos a little dry but ok with the small amt of sauce. Personally I wouldn't come back for the food just drinks and socializing.

Solo trip for business, stopped in here ordered the shrimp taco and a Cucumber limeade. My tacos were pretty good, didn’t care much for the rice, the cucumber limeade was my favorite! Very refreshing. The local were very friendly and met nice people while sitting at the bar.

Lots of menu items, attentive wait staff and tasty drinks. Only been here one other time but considering my sister (the pickiest eater) dines here almost weekly, I knew this place had to be special. We had the back room for a large family gathering and the ladies who served us were hustling and bustling. The portions were generous and the appetizers tasty af. Pro tip: Have patience, this place gets busy and tip the staff well. Don’t order the Mac n cheese! But do order the fired avocado!

Blue Oasis is a GREAT place. It has a local bar and grill dive feel, but definitely isn’t a dive. They have a Philly cheesesteak/grilled Philly cheesechicken sandwich that is one of the best I’ve had. Everyone is super friendly, staff and patrons. I honestly don’t have a negative thing to say.

Nothing special. Burger was OK. Very LOUD. Looked as if it had a quieter section behind a room divider, but it wasn't offered to me.

Great food, came out hot. Good variety of food and drink to choose from. Exceptional service. Will be revisiting.

Yesterday day we had a bad egg served to us most time it great the food is great the cheif need to take motivate On fresh boiled eggs a star was lost for serving a bad egg

Ordered Chicken Fried Steaks to go. I was given a time span for when they would be ready. I walked into the restaurant. As I did, the waitress brought out the bag with my order! I live about 12 minutes away. When I got home, both the meals were still deliciously hot! The food was tasty. The meat was tender. The sides were up to the same standard! Great meal at a great price. We will definitely come back.

Great food and great staff. This is a hidden jewel in Del Rio; a place that definitely focuses on the great quality of food and food choices.

We really like this place, and it has delicious American style food, which is hard to find in Del Rio. The drinks are good, even the coffee, although last time I had coffee there , it changed and they just had powdered cream and the coffee was weak. The burgers are really good, the fries are fresh and homemade. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich is yummy. Steaks were good too. The service is always good and the ambience and music are nice .

Visited this place for lunch recently and it was a very good experience. I had eaten here some time back and hadn't take the time to review it. Overall, this is a good place to eat. My guests has the chicken and it was delicious as I was able to get a bite. I had the fish tacos and those were really good as well. The service was good as well and overall this is a good place to eat if you are in Del Río: I would certainly recommend it and would definitely eat here again when I go back to Del Río!

This is my second time visiting this restaurant. The (medium well) steak was delicious, juicy, and ready to be eating. The smashed potatoes and jumbo size shrimp was great too. I would order this again. The service was okay. They forgot to give us our utensils. We had to get it. Secondly, they took forever to give us our tab. I am used to getting my tab once the food was over or after I say, no, i am not ordering any more.

Decent bar combined with above average food! Try the Reuben Sandwich, or one of the PoBoys! The Blue Oasis Fish Sandwich is also tasty, and my son loves the Sausage Sandwich! Some interesting beer is on tap, if you like Ales and Stouts. After dining; stay for more drinks - or shoot a game of pool of the patio!

Great service. Delish food. Definitely Our go to for drinks and eats in Del Rio. Location is good for kids or an adults night out. Sports bar atmosphere.

2.5 stars 100% agree with previous posters. Service is sad (the time to get food) and drinks are crazy expensive ($13 Grey Goose vodka tonic, that's how much I pay in downtown Chicago). Approximately 20 min wait for chips & guacamole and some of the chips were stale. Another 10-15 minutes for 2 tacos, lukewarm beans and cold, dry rice. Shame since the food (guac, beef taco meat al carbon, cheesecake) had good flavor. I will not return for sit down service and slim possibility if it's a to-go order and I'm desperate. There are other places in town with good food AND service. (Only went here because Manuel's closed Mondays.)

Food is good, drinks are good. Gets extremely busy after 7pm and weekends forget going there it's packed. It's been a staple to del rio for a very long time.

Jamie is fantastic. Very appreciative of her and her willingness to take care of us. She is first class. Had a great time. Ambiance is great because of the team.

I came into Del Rio on a work trip and was looking for a place to have a drink get something to eat. I saw this place on yelp and figured I'd give it a shot. The menu is plentiful and everyone can find something they like, The bar is more than capable of handling any drink order, and the staff was amazing. I had nothing bad to say about this place and went back another time before I left. If I come back to the area, I'll for sure visit again.

Mary did such a good job on our experience with our friends from out of town of Thursday night they wanted to come back again Sunday night before they left town. Andrea was able to serve us efficiently and effectively with good food and memories before they left town. Thanks again Blue Oasis!

Food was great and service was friendly. I wanted a good warm meal (not fast food) and a drink after a long drive. Got extremely lucky with this place. It fit the bill and offers a variety of options.

Blue Oasis is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Del Rio. However the last two times I've eaten here, I waited 60 minutes and 75 minutes for my food (for a party of 4). The first time (60 minutes for food), we were warned by the waitress that the food would be a while, but we had some time so we chose to wait. It's sad that a waitress has to preface this to avoid losing her tip. This establishment has gone down hill in the past year or so. It lacks clear direction and any sort of management. The entire time we were there, we saw waiters and the bartender running around like crazy, but not a single manager. If you need more help, hire some. If need more equipment, buy it. It's that simple. Waiting as long as we did is unacceptable (and the food is cold anyways!) and will ultimately kill off this establishment like anyother good thing Del Rio has ever had. Very sad to see where Blue Oasis has gone.

The food was Delivered hot and fresh and without wait The drinks were maybe a little stalled but the service overall was very Immaculate , our waitress also kept checking up on my party and I and The vibe I got from the spot was a definite dealbreaker in whether or not I'd come back but after today I would Generally Good spot to eat in del Rio if you're feeling biased on where to eat

Blue oasis is a very unique place in Del Rio. Reason being is it has a wide variety menu, top tier staff, and most importantly cold beer! At times it does get busy but that's because everyone loves this place. I definitely rate it the #1 restaurant in Del Rio. During my most recent visit there I had the teriyaki bone in wings, shrimp tacos, and draft beer. Everything was excellent when it comes to portion size and flavor. I had an amazing staff with Jaymie behind the bar, Briana, Briana & Jesli as the hostess and waitress's and Eli as buss boy. If you are ever passing through check them out!

I've been here several times while visiting Del Rio, Tx. It seems that both the food and the service has gotten worse over the last two years. The blond gal making drinks clearly hated Del Rio (she was complaining while on the phone instead of serving us) and seemed to feel she was much better than a cocktail waitress.... Sorry hun, you aren't. The kicker was when our party guests wrote a letter to the owner, the employees intercepted it and started refusing service to the guests in our group, even those that said nothing. Please learn from our mistake.... if the food sucks..... if the service sucks..... walk away and don't say anything because you will be refused service.... Oh and make sure you leave a big tip.

Yesterday, my husband ordered Blues' Oasis Philly cheesesteak that he loved, and i ordered a fantastic chickenfried steak. Thank you! Thankyou! Thankyou for keeping the gravy savory! A major steakhouse in San Antonio made everything sweet- the Italian dressing, the rolls , the butter (honey), even the gravy on my husband's chickenfried steak was sweet. Yuck. Blues' gravy was great- and i usually don't like gravy. The other key thing for me is that their batter was greatly seasoned and it was tendercrisp- it didn't break my teeth!! The iced tea had that pretty amber color and tasted Great! I loved my medley of vegetables. My salad was delicious! The only negative was that the mashed potatoes were dry (i left them on the plate. ) The texas toast was wonderful! Briana, our server was great! She was pleasant and was working to make sure we had all we needed.

Good food, great service and looks like favorite for a lot of locals. Reasonably priced.

The food is ok the drinks are not very good. I used to eat here 2x a week hoping it would get better since I live 3 min away but just disappoints every time. The servers are nice and attentive.

Wish I could give negative stars! Waited over an hour and 15 minutes to get my food and it's cold!! Our waitress was TERRIBLE. Sent my food back and it still came back cold! Obviously management is lacking at this establishment. Never once saw someone who "looked" like management monitoring what was going on!

Took an hour and 45 minutes to get our food tonight. Once we got our food. It was raw seafood. Service was horrible. It's been going down for a year. Tonight it has hit rock bottom. Left full plates of food to go home and eat chicken.

OMG WHY DOES IT TAKE SO LONG TO GET FOOD. There are like 20 people in this restaurant and no one has food, like no one. It's really good food but don't expect quick service...like don't come in you're hungry cuz then it'll make you hangry.

On my first night in Del Rio, we went to the Blue Oasis Bar & Grill based on Yelp recommendations. I can't give this place enough praise: they set the bar really high for the rest of the restaurants I tried while in Del Rio for two weeks. I had the fish tacos. They were cooked well and seasoned nicely. You also got a decent amount of fish for the price. I think the plate had three fish tacos for a reasonable price. The chipotle sauce that was drizzled on my tacos was really good. For me, that sauce makes or breaks a dish and the Blue Oasis surpassed my expectations. One of my dinner companions had a steak. She ordered it medium well but there were parts that were well under medium and others that were more on the well done side. That was prolly disappointing. Uneven cooking aside, the steak itself was huge, so that's a good thing I suppose. Our server was friendly but there were times where I had to physically track her down to get a refill on water and the like. She was also minding the bar for whatever reason (our table was closer to the kitchen so we were out of her line of sight), so that's understandable. It wasn't poor service, she was just busy at times. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good fish tacos in Del Rio. Based on my own dining experience, I'd return to that place in a heart beat. I think the meal was slightly overpriced for Del Rio--which isn't much--but I'd gladly pay a little extra for that food.

Came while I was in Del Rio for work. Had a hankering for a burger and this place definitely delivered. The buns are phenomenal, burger was juicy. My lunch companion had the fish tacos which she says is her go-to. They looked good so I'll try that next time I have to go down.

Came to Del rio to visit for the new year. We had such a great experience the first night, we had to go back once more before leaving the following night. The alligator bites were absolutely delicious, we made sure to order it again. I got the Baja fish tacos and that was good. We had to try their signature blue oasis drink from the bar and that was very well made and super tasty! I would definitely recommend this place! Honestly, next time we're in town we'll come back and just go crazy on their appetizers!

Blue Oasis has a pretty extensive menu, but not great service. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and two entrees. Our drinks (which were just bottled beer) took a while and we were surprised when a server brought another tables' nachos to us. We were confused and said that they did not belong to us. We were surprised again when after about 20 minutes our entrees came out. They had forgotten our appetizer completely. There was no apology and we asked to receive it anyways and ate it after we both finished our entrees. We hope to have a better experience in the future seeing as the service was less than ideal.

I've been here since approximately 8:10 PM. During this time I've seen the waitress twice, had to ask for my beer, and haven't received my food. The order was placed approximately 15 minutes ago. It's not a particularly busy night, but this slooooowwww service is utterly ridiculous.

Good, solid bar food. This isn't gourmet or upscale or trendy, but it's great pub fare, good service, friendly staff, and good drinks. I recommend the turkey avocado and bacon sandwich served on toast with hand cut fries. The sandwich is so fresh, the meat plentiful and good quality, the tomato and avocado are ripe. Large portions. Fried green beans and fried avocado slices are freshly battered and cooked, not prefrozen. Monday is margarita special day :)

Really wanted to like this place because it's extremely close to where I stay for work. I went three times in about the span of a week. Their burgers are pretty good. After that, it's all down hill. First time there I ordered a margarita and it was just awful. I didn't even finish it. Their fries are limp/soggy. Second time I went I ordered onion rings instead of fries and they brought me fries. I told them I ordered onion rings and they sent out after a few minutes. The last time I went I ordered their philly cheese steak and asked for jalapeños to be added. Once it arrived, I searched though it with a fork and couldn't see any jalapeños. Bartender said she asked and was told there were jalapeños in it. So instead of fixing it correctly, they brought me out a cup full of jalapeños. I won't go back for a fourth time. There are too many other options in Del Rio. If you love burgers and onion rings, then you have a winner. If you don't, then good luck.

Seems like a good start to a new restaurant in Del Rio. Their menu seemed just the right size. I would much rather a restaurant have a few things they do well versus everything they do mediocre. The wait staff was very prompt and attentive. The chef and restaurant owner came by twice to ensure our meals were what we expected. Unheard of in Del Rio especially. We only tried 2 items on the menu, however both were really good. Our only real complaint, and it should be prefaced with the fact that they are a new startup, was that our entrées came out at different times. While this works for us with kids, it might not work for someone else who is going there to enjoy a meal together. I think this will all be ironed out with time.

I love this place! It has everything you want in the menu. Everyone there is very kind and is willing to make sure that everyone is happy. The food is excellent! I would definitely comeback again with my friends. Keep up the good work Blue Oasis!!! And all the workers!!!

This restaurant is amazing the staff is incredibly friendly and are always happy to receive their very valued customers. They say this is a family establishment and they absolutely mean it, I feel welcome every single time i visit! Food is great always made fresh and exactly the way that you ask. There is a great drink variety and the service is exceptional. I don't know what's in the burger buns but you have to try them!

This place was a very pleasant surprise!! My Hubs and I stopped in for drinks and appies.... and stayed for dins. We started with gator bites and blue oasis rattler appies. Both were deelish! The Hubs got the catfish platter ... which was cooked to perfection and I had the Baja fish tacos which were AhhhMazing! The waitress was super friendly and this looks like a place with lots of regulars! (Always a plus!) Would definitely return here!!

A must while in Del Rio. I've had the Baja fish tacos, Baja shrimp tacos, shrimp po boy, and catfish. Everything good and the service is very good.

Worst customer service at the bar last night!!!The bartender/ "manager" was completely unprofessional and rude, slammed our menus down at us and left us for 10 min. She came back and asked us in sarcastic tone if NOW we were ready to order? I asked for a different server because she clearly had an attitude problem. She said "no" I couldn't have another server and that she was the manager when I asked to speak to one. She also said complaining to the owner would do no good because he believes everything she says and will have her back!! My husband and I left along with another couple that witnessed this disgusting behavior. We are well known citizens in this community, & NEVER in my life have I ever been treated so aggressively and poorly. We love Blue Oasis, but will NOT be returning until this person is removed indefinitely.

Food is good, drinks are offensive. All the people at my table ordered appetizers and mixed drinks. We got our drinks first and all of us could not believe how badly mixed they were. The thing was is that we all ordered something different, so it couldn't have been a fluke. Every one of them had so little alcohol in them. Even I am a light-weight and I still felt like my drink was lacking. This place is a poor excuse for a bar. On that alone I can't recommend this place since "bar" is in its namesake. The only thing that redeems it slightly is the "grill" part of its namesake. The Texas nachos with the add on of brisket, avocado fries, and jalapeño poppers were delicious. If you are looking for lunch/dinner without mixed drinks go here. If they can fix the bar this place will be golden. Would not recommend til bar is fixed.

Not bad for a small town west Texas bar. The food is decent and the beer selection okay. But when I went there last time for a leisurely late dinner with a friend, we were being rushed out only fifteen minutes after closing. That's not acceptable, and certainly not enough to keep me coming back within an hour of closing time. But generally speaking, if you arrive with modest expectations, you probably won't be let down.

Great, laid back spot with friendly staff and great food as well! Recently went and tried the grilled fish tacos and both my wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how awesome they were! Also beer is always ice cold and ambiance is great to sit back and relax or grab a bite to eat! One of Del Rio's top places!

I ordered the three tacos with shredded meat but the beef wasn't really shredded and wasn't to my liking. The waitress was attentive but not very informative; I wish I had known about the condiment bar before I ate my food. Fyi; they do have a bar with all the fixings so don't eat your food without knowing that.
