Google
Loved here!!!! My friend and I came from drinks and apps. Can't go wrong being here. We got Calamari, nachos, chips and salsa...and we got some guacamole. All delicious. And the lemonade is so good!! Hoping to have the tacos next time

Jose F.

Google
Great food, amazing drinks and quick/friendly service! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, this isn't it. This is more like an American style Mexican restaurant. It is not bad at all, just not authentic enough for my taste.

Paul H.

Google
That Mexican food is paler than a polar bear on an iceberg. Only spice, or flavor for that matter, to be had was in the cholula hot sauce bottle. Guac, Mexican corn, tacos, enchiladas all had zero flavor. You’d think this place catered to rich pale white folk, like pale pale. Maybe the alcohol is good, didn’t get to try it. Staff seemed fun, but the waiter running around talking like a sailor was a little unprofessional, even if it was a low volume time of day.

Gail S.

Google
Honestly, the margarita's here are AHmazing (I'm also a bartender and Marg's are my thing, so yeah, they're good!). The Nacho Machos are soooo good. Tacos are pretty good, not my fav, though, they fall apart super easy. The quesadillas are excellent. Service is mostly good, a few servers are quite obviously newbies, taking wayyyy too much time to accomplish tasks (again, I'm in the industry and this is an honest critique). Some servers are excellent, bar is great. Just go there. It's worth it for the laid back atmosphere and vibe.

Google
Drinks are awesome, food is decent! The vibes were pretty cool and the service is quick. Had a birthday dinner here.

Google
Excellent margaritas - strong and large! Fun atmosphere and top notch service. Our waitress Bella was the best! Really good happy hour deal on drinks too.

Taylor R.

Google
So bummed to give this place this rating. Went there twice to see if it was just a one time thing but unfortunately both times I went the food was definitely “white people mexican food” and not authentic. The margaritas were super strong but that’s the only thing that made them good. The service was fairly slow. Great location though! Oh and dinner for 4 was $500+ 😂

Nicolas R.

Google
Pretty abysmal food. The menu doesn’t have ingredient descriptions, which makes ordering with food allergies very inconvenient. We ordered two different set of tacos, I requested no dairy and my tacos were just plain chicken and lettuce. THAT’S IT. Dry chicken and lettuce. The alternative was adding sour cream, which is a bastardization of Mexican food. Nice location, the service was good, but the food was a joke.

Yelp
A good spot for low key food and a strong drink. The margaritas are pretty good here. Those of you in. Your 20s will love this place because they have a bit of a heavy hand with the liquor. I felt buzzed after half a drink, and I'm no lightweight. The service is average (this is a good thing) The ambiance is very casual. I could see why most people in their 20s would love this place. I usually rate a Mexican spot by their Carne Asada tacos but they don't have them here. They Americanized it and call the skirt steak tacos. I wouldn't call it true Mexican, but I wouldn't knock it either because a lot of people don't speak Spanish out here so I can understand why they did it. The Parrot burger was decent. Perfectly cooked and tasty. 3/5 (good score).

Yelp
PICKUP ORDERS BEWARE - orders are automatically charged 20% gratuity without any forewarning (say goodbye $50!) At first I thought it was an innocent mistake with the Toast app since the line item on the receipt labeled "auto-gratuity". So I went back to the front desk to ask for a refund, and the woman at the front said was the RUDEST restaurant staff I've ever met. I asked 2 questions in a friendly manner "can I get a refund, because we didn't eat here?" to which she responded that the 20% is auto-added so then I followed up with "could you override it?" and it triggered a rant of increasing volume starting with that she couldn't override it, that she put the 20% gratuity there because people here don't tip for pickup orders, started yelling variations of "do you not want to show gratuity to the people who cooked your food?" And so on. She said that "something" says that pickup orders $250+ are subject to 20% tip, but I assure you it's not the Toast menu. What a disappointing way to end our day.

Yelp
Mexican food is my thing!!!!!!!!! So on my ride out to East Hampton my friends and I stopped in here. It was def. a little busy and I was def. a little under dressed but it was time to eat..... The three of us walked up to the hostess and we were seated instantly which was great considering it was about 7pm on a Saturday night with a busy crowd. We sat down ordered some beers and guacamole and patiently awaited both. Guacamole was really good, had a heavy hint of mine which I didn't mind at all. The chips were your average old out the bag type which I'm not a huge fan of but it's still a chip so of course I'm eating it. We also had some calamari which tasted a little too fishy for my liking but was cooked very well. I ordered the chicken avocado sandwich with regular fries. It was good but nothing that really wow'd me. Just cheese on grilled chicken and half a sliced avocado. The fries were good and very salty which hit the spot. I will say this place was pricey as hell foe not the most knock your socks off food but I mean we are out in the hamptons, bring your wallet!!!!
google avatar

Bunny L.

Yelp
Poor quality and flavor. I believe this place has never had authentic Mexican food. It tastes like something you'd find at a road side Mexican food truck.
google avatar

Fiona H.

Yelp
My go-to Mexican restaurant when out East. The food is fresh and not over-sauced. The prices are fair and you don't feel like you are getting the typical Hamptons up-charge. They built out a great outdoor space to accommodate social distancing and servers are still masked. I had the fish tacos which were excellent! The fish was not overly battered and not greasy! I thought it must have been baked! My friend had a burrito which was so fresh and huge! I'll be back!
google avatar

Matt E.

Yelp
This place is awful. Tacos were dry and had virtually no meat. Same thing with the burritos. Price to value ratio way off on this one. You can do much better.
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
Popped in for a quick dinner. It was crowded and so noisy that we couldn't hear one another even though we were sitting right next to each other. The food was just OK. It was definitely under-seasoned.

Nancy Z.

Yelp
Small place with amazing food!! We actually had lunch there 2 days in a row Both days we had nachos which are HUGE and soooo good. Share with 4people at least. Steak tacos and fish tacos were to die for and the street corn off the cob was the finisher !!! Wait staff were awesome! Highly recommend

George S.

Yelp
It's a hard pass. Prices are wild for what the food is. Not terrible if there's literally no other option in the moment but if you're craving tacos there's plenty of other East End options.

Gabriela H.

Yelp
Been here a few times, not impressed. Overpriced and staff are straight up rude, had all too many bad experiences to go back
google avatar

Alycia H.

Yelp
my boyfriend and i went here for our weekly date night. both have never been. we're both full and content and the staff was great. it's a little expensive for what it is and i don't recommend sitting near the bar, it got very crowded and loud. there was a private party which also blocked us from sitting outside. if we go again i think we will go during the week or earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. it wasn't amazing but it wasn't the worst i've ever had.
google avatar

Taylor R.

Yelp
Friendliest welcome in East Hampton! Great food, great service. The nachos SLAPPED! We really loved it and will be going back again before we leave!
google avatar

Sara L.

Yelp
Just okay, overpriced but everything in this area seems to be. Can get much better quality Mexican for much cheaper in Manhattan for comparison. Ordered a shrimp quesadilla, guacamole, chicken burrito, Diet Coke, and margarita. Cost me $89 LOL. Can't get behind these absurd prices. The shrimp in the quesadilla tasted a little too fishy for me so I ended up poking it out. The guacamole was good. Boyfriend enjoyed the margarita said it was strong and the chicken burrito was good. Margarita is $17 which once again is ridiculous. This isn't a cocktail bar in Manhattan. Only way I would ever go back is if someone else pays for my meal and even then I would be a little annoyed.
google avatar

Andy S.

Yelp
In 2019 we had a wonderful experience here! Elegant and delicious food with fun margaritas! This summer cafeteria style with a few picnic tables. If not yuck the person who greeted us said simply "order from me and I'll hand you the food which you can eat where ever you want! Really were walking! Big disappointment here. Why have such an inept fool greet your customers?
google avatar

Dan W.

Yelp
Pretty pricey for "street tacos" but I think typical for East Hampton's pricing. The portion sizes were still good at least. One note - if you order the tacos (3 tacos per order), you have to have all 3 tacos be of the same flavor (i.e. all shrimp, all fish, all chicken, etc), you can't mix and match. The drinks are strong which is a plus. For two people, we did an order of the 3 tacos, a veggie quesadilla, split guac+chips, and two margaritas. The bill came out to $112 before tip.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
I don't mind paying hamptons prices for quality food but this place missed the mark. 20 dollars for a bland quesadilla and 24 dollars for small portion of enchiladas with dry chicken. Will not be back.
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
Keep reading the negative reviews about the prices . Funny how everyone can afford a house share here in the Hamptons but can't afford dinner. Honestly the shrimp or fish tacos are amazing, only problem is trying to decide which is better ! If you like your margaritas then make sure you order the spicy watermelon. Holy cow it's spicy and strong yet refreshing all in one. The tequila is infused with peppers so it kicks like a mule. The staff are great and its a fun place to just kick back after dinner or play some table tennis. Enjoy !

A V.

Yelp
Im beyond appaled at this place and management. Its a shame because the food is good. HOWEVER, the service sucks. A server not sure of her name but brunette literally assaulted a customer and refused to apologize. The poor young girl she soaked with soda was literally harassed and egged on by the waistaff, and managment was totally unprofessional. I will NOT be giving them any buisness.

Yelp
Good evening yelpers, wether just to eat some chips and guacamole, drinks, or for a full meal, this establishment is inviting, upbeat, and all around a hoot. From the bubbly, fun, and kind waitresses, to the hospitable and hilarious bartenders, this place is never dull. The food is fantastic and delicious. Whatever your mood is this restaurant will not disappoint. The staff are incredible.

Travis B.

Yelp
the host won't seat you or give you the time of day if you are just wanting drinks and food from happy hour even though restaurant had only 2 full tables

Rm B.

Yelp
Loved the blue Parrot. Will be returning and recommending. loved the steak tacos especially. But enchiladas great too. best queso ever. must go.

Dillon G.

Yelp
Great vibes, great food, great service! Super nice waitress, good chips and salsa, and lovely music outdoors. The only downside was when a drunk old guy started regaling me about his glory days as an LSU baseball player, but the chicken nachos I was devouring as I tuned out his 1955 "SEC leading" batting average made up for it. A bit pricey, but if you want good Mexican and/or to get away from "fresh Montauk lobster" getting shoved down your throat that would cost an arm and a leg, this is your place.
google avatar

Marvin B.

Yelp
Fish Tacos were amazing!!! Hit that lunchtime hunger proper. The Guacamole was super fresh tasting and I was left satisfied. Great value for the Hamptons in my opinion. This place is fast becoming my regular spot for lunch and evening drinks with friends. The vibe is super chill even though it gets real busy and the fresh flowers everywhere are a nice touch.
google avatar

Eliza N.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place, but service did not compensate for the lackluster menu. This place has a lot of potential. Great location, beachy & laid back vibe. I expected more, unfortunately, they did not deliver. Hamptons is in dire need of really commendable places to eat. I truly do not like giving one star, but please you gotta raise the bar.

Yelp
This is one of the "cheaper" spots in East Hampton, but definitely way overpriced. They forgot to give our table our chips and salsa that we ordered, so they gave it to us on the house. I ordered the shrimp tacos. Although they were tasty in flavor, the shrimp was kind of rubbery and did not taste fresh. I actually got a slight allergic reaction later which happens to me when I eat not-fresh seafood. It's not "authentic" Mexican food by any means. The tacos are not double wrapped, there's no cilantro, etc. The sangria tasted like fruit punch and essentially had no alcohol in it. We were there at the height of dinner time, and were brought our bill before we were even finished. We felt rushed to leave so they could use our table. On the plus side, the music was good and they had legit hot sauces.

Tom M.

Yelp
First time there, ordered pickup online. Kitchen was busy so the stated 30 mins turned into roughly 45-60, but having been in the restaurant industry can understand nights turn crazy. All items on the receipt stapled to the bag had been checked off, so we didnt check the contents in the bag standing there. Got back to our house 15 mins away, an entree is missing and half the supplies needed for fajitas. The first guy I spoke with offered zero value at all, namely, we can take off the entrees and re run the card. Sure, I won't eat dinner tonight because of a mistake from the restaurant. Then I spoke to the manager, Ashleigh, who didn't even hesitate to say we will remake both dishes, I will drive them to you, and throw in 2 additional margaritas for the hassle. That's why she's a manager and the other guy is not. As for the food, solid. I've had better Mexican but its East Hampton prices so not surprise there. When picking up the food, the outdoor seating looked like a great spot, just have to hope something is open when you're there.

Yelp
DO NOT GO HERE. Terrible service. Rejected REAL IDs because the bartender never saw out of state licenses before. The manager then patronized us saying we'd have hard times getting drinks at other places with our REAL IDs. Guess they didn't need the business.

Yoshi W.

Yelp
May be the worst food in the Hamptons. Tasteless. And very expensive for not as good as even taco vell

Natalie B.

Yelp
What a disappointment. Waited an hour and fifteen minutes for a couple of burritos and tacos. At least 3 other tables walked out with their food to go or without being served. The managers were nowhere to be seen, hiding behind the server. Left her to deal with the frustrated diners. We were told that there were too many takeout orders for the kitchen to handle but they took them anyway to the detriment of the seated patrons. Never again.

Yelp
Been coming here for over 20 years. It was closed for a little while and God bless those who brought it back, bigger and better. Went here today and last weekend and the food and drinks are excellent and Alex our bartender is the nicest and handsomest and most professional person ever. Go here. It's SO worth your time.
google avatar

Whitney W.

Yelp
My family came here around 2pm on a Saturday in June and they had no issues accommodating us. The staff was very attentive and helpful! My husband and I split lobster fajitas which was definitely enough food for both of us. Most of the entrees and drinks are pretty pricey (lost a star for that) but it was a clean, updated place. Not sure what other Mexican places are around town but this hit the spot for us!
google avatar

Simon B.

Yelp
Pretty sad. This place used to be good, and we've come here several times a summer for the last 3 years. Alas, as of this summer they have modified their menu in order to jump on the Hamptons bull market bandwagon and double their prices. Totally ridiculous. Goodbye, BP.
google avatar

Justin M.

Yelp
Came here with my girlfriend late Friday night. Definitely recommend the guac, tacos, and burritos. Also the cucumber (alcohol) drink was spot on.
google avatar

Gabriel F.

Yelp
Very down to earth and lowkey place. The hostess(Conchi [sorry if I spelt your name wrong])was very nice and friendly and the food was halfway decent. Slightly underseasoned but easily overlooked by the hostess. Discrete location behind Ralph Lauren, decent food, and friendly service. Well worth the trip
google avatar

Yuval S.

Yelp
The blue parrot is the local favorite hangout spot which always has amazing vibes! Their "Dirty Bird" margarite is absolutely delicious and is extremely strong! Their staff is very kind and provides an amazing customer service. The food is always fresh and tastes phrnomenal! I recommend the chicken burrito to anyone who visits here.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
The restaurant is in a very convenient location, right in the center of town. I have heard only good things about this restaurant so I felt obligated to try it. After arguing with the hostess for a while to get a seat, we were given a table with the condition that we had to leave within 40 minutes. The World Cup was on so the bar was very crowded and for that reason slowed down the servers. My family all ordered different things from the menu and drink selection. They have a cucumber spritzer that really was fantastic, so you know I had to order 2. I ordered a burrito and my boyfriend ordered the fajitas. We thought the food was okay but said we would not come back to have it again. The portions are the perfect size, but the whole menu is overpriced for such simple dishes.

Chris S.

Yelp
Hidden Gem in the Hamptons. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. If there's a wait for a table they provide corn hole, ping pong, and a friendly bar to help pass the time.

Zack L.

Yelp
Went here for drinks after having dinner elsewhere, Do not get the frozen margaritas! I got strawberry and my girlfriend got mango and for $16 each, it tasted like they went to 711 and put sour patch kids slurpee flavor in a cup and charged us 6 times the price. Extremely sour and sugary. Quality I'd expect at a dive bar for 5 or 6 bucks. The bartender was good though quick service even with a busy bar so that's why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Love this place, nice choices of Margaritas and the food is what you expect from a Mexican joint. Indoor and outdoor seating, always a crowd hanging around the bar and outside tables. The staff is excellent and friendly. Fun Hampton scene that I look forward to opening every spring. Go there a lot
google avatar

Abigail S.

Yelp
Extortionately priced mediocre Mexican food that in any other context would be laughed off the table. Unfortunately, however, in East Hampton, it is the lesser of the dining evils. At least you can get a salad for under $20 here, unlike many of the other surrounding cafe trend havens where lunch entrees can easily creep up to $30 and beyond. However my $14 Oaxaca salad consisted of lettuce, a few cherry tomatoes, a few waxy strips of cheese, a thin avocado dressing, and a few soggy pieces of tortilla. Very disappointing. The Irish waitstaff provide a bit of intrigue, but the novelty of the place doesn't make up for the poor experience.
google avatar

Doug W.

Yelp
Blue Parot. I didn't like the place one bit... never understood why it was so packed... I must say I wanted to like it. I liked the building, I liked the theme... just NOT the food; and the service was just as awful...
google avatar

Rodger W.

Yelp
Been here forever! Decent food, helps if you had some tequila prior. Wait is long but hey, it is the Hamptons. Chorizo is too rich as a primary meat, go with chicken or carne asada.

Larry Z.

Yelp
Was surprised they were open. Dining is outside but we took out. Food was very good. No complaints. Tough competition in this Town but well worth it.
google avatar

Walter W.

Yelp
Nice hostesses, nice bartenders. Cold beer. You need a better selection of lite beers, try Heineken lite and also michelob ultra. This is a fun place to go with friends, a young crowd, not too loud, cool inside on a sticky humid night. You can watch the local young rich white kids learning how to drink and flirt with each other. The servers were a little rude blocking the way tot he bathroom without helping customers get by. Their station is in a terrible spot for traffic.
google avatar

Matt S.

Yelp
We came off-season (late September). The margaritas were excellent! My wife ordered fish tacos and she said "I've had my share of fish tacos but these are the best I have ever had'l. I ordered the carne asada tacos and they were delicious.
google avatar

Cathy F.

Yelp
What a rip off! Don't go here!! You will be disappointed. Not worth it at all. The food has no flavor, got a burrito and it barely had any chicken. Worst place I've been to. 0 stars!!!

Mary G.

Yelp
3 people 3 tacos each 4 beers 1 lemonade 1 guac $103.59 We are not in Tulum, we are in an alley way, near the stop and shop in East Hampton NY. Waitstaff, hostess and busboy get the star for working hard and good customer service. Yes chef, the food was good. Yes manager, you have a good staff. Why do you train them to offer chips and guacamole as if it is free? It is $14 for a small basket of chips and a small bowl of guac. Yes owner, I could afford the food but I wont return since feeling ripped off does not sit well with me.
google avatar

Debbie F.

Yelp
Food was good Margaritas excellent Place is understaffed Hard to get a drink The bartender was overwhelmed by the crowd Our waiter rushed us through our meal Took my plate off the table and I was not finished Asked us to leave our table even though we were still drinking But obviously not eating As our plates had been removed Rude Rude

Chris M.

Yelp
Worst restaurant ever! They should be ashamed for serving the gross dried up food they serve. Shame on idiot customers who go here and eat this disgusting food. And way over priced for crappy Mexican food. $21 for a shitty margarita? You gotta be kidding me, this isn't Monaco...it's a hamlet in eastern Long Island. I'm in the wrong business if these owners can open a a restaurant and serve that crap they call food and over charge people for it and fool them into coming in again and again, then any idiot without experience can do the same. STAY AWAY! The owners should be ashamed of themselves being in operation.
