We stayed at the Blue Pine Motel for two nights during a trip to see some National Parks. The lady at the check in desk was super friendly and made us feel welcome. The good times continued once we opened the door to our room to find it very clean and spacious. I attached a photo of the bed and bathroom. The bathroom was very large and the shower had great water pressure and got hot quickly. The neighborhood is very nice and you can walk to a fantastic nearby restaurant called the Cowboy Smokehouse. Great location, clean room, friendly staff, would definitely recommend to anyone in the area and would certainly go back!

I could not be more pleased with our stay. The couple that own and operate this establishment truly went far beyond our expectations. It's incredibly rare to meet such kind hearted individuals! Highly recommend them and the Blue Pine!

Everything you need AND it's spotless! Great water pressure in the shower and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very pleasant too. This is a great spot to stay if you're visiting Bryce Canyon. Thanks for having us!

This place is amazing! It is very clean. Beds are comfortable. It is equipped with a microwave, a coffee maker, a fridge, extra soft towels, nice soap. Rooms are large and smell nice. it is nicely decorate with stylish night stands and fancy blinds. We absolutely loved this place and we will be back. Also there are many places to eat right there. And close to Bryce Canyon. Everything about this place is great! the most pleasant experience.

I called today asking for a reservation...2 seniors and our service dog which helps my husband...A vetern of Vietnam. I was asked what kind of dog it was. I told her a Border Collie. She then proceeded to tell me because my dog had long hair she would need to change all the bedding. I told her our dog does not sleep on the bed. She told me she would need to charge extra because of his hair. This is a Service dog. I told her I had certificate to prove he is a service. She continued to talk about his hair. I did not book the room. She quickly hung up the phone. I want her to know SERVICE DOGS serve a purpose. They are very well trained. There is no charge for them. Also she said she would need to change the bedding..Well to that I say I would hope you change the bedding every time a person or persons check out of the motel. She really needs to be more accommodating to service animals. There is a law to accommodate SERVICE animals

Got it—here’s an updated version with that detail included:||⸻||I booked this stay for a wedding and confirmed a late checkout for 1pm ahead of time. On the day of departure, at 11:30am, while I was in the shower, someone started aggressively banging on my door. When I answered, I was yelled at to be out in 10 minutes or I’d be charged. I tried to explain that I had a confirmed late checkout, but the woman wouldn’t listen. I had to throw my things together and leave to finish getting ready at a family member’s room at a different location. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and completely unprofessional. If you confirm a late checkout, you should honor it. I won’t be returning.

Google
This was the best place we stayed at on our week long roadtrip. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff running the hotel was very friendly. Also, the motel is within walking distance to several restaurants, and only 30 minutes from Bryce Canyon.

The rooms were very clean and the pillows and beds were comfortable. It was walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We loved it and we will go back!

Yelp
We loved staying here. Nothing fancy but the beds are comfortable and it was quiet. The owner was present and very helpful with suggestions for places to eat. She also let us do a load of laundry which was needed after 3 days hiking in Bryce.

Yelp
We had a really nice experience staying at this motel. We had three rooms and the owner put us next to each other. Love the parking right in front of room. Room is spacious with two queen beds and a good layout. It has a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and a desk. Towels are new, thick, and fluffy. Restroom spacious. Outside front door has a lounge chair. Owner Cheryl is communicative and the nicest ever. We checked in late and it was cold. Rooms were warm and crozy. We had a restful night before heading to Bryce Canyon. Will definitely stay again and highly recommend this play.

Yelp
My brother and I, along with our two sons stayed here for two nights on our recent fishing trip. My son, being 11 left a couple knives in a drawer that he had brought in to show his cousin. One of the knives my father made, who, originally, was going to join us but decided not to last minute. I got a phone call that my father died last night very unexpectedly. When I sat my family down to tell them, my son remembered the knives. I called the owner of the hotel and thankfully he had them and offered to mail them to us. I asked if I could come pick them up instead (2 hour drive) and he said yes. He then suggested that he meet Me part way so that I didn't have to drive so far. He didn't know about my father or that I would be driving 8 hours home to for the funeral, he just offered out of kindness. My 11 year old son and I drove and met the man where he said and we both thanked him. I told him then what had happened and how much we appreciated the help. He was so kind. If you're in Panguitch Utah, there is no other place you should consider staying. The man was kind and helpful from the start of our stay and an angel in the end.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about Blue Pine Motel! I do a lot of traveling and this is the cleanest little Motel I have ever seen in my life. The staff is responsive and friendly. The only downfall is there is no pool or jacuzzi but I think most people there are headed to the lake. It's sits in the center of old town across from restaurants and stores. It's just about soundproof with brick/cinder block walls. Our room had a perfectly quiet refrigerator and the air conditioner blew cold. Softest bath towels ever for a hotel! Parking is directly in front of the room. Safe, clean area. Room to park your boat or trailer. We will definitely be going back soon!

Dan P.

Yelp
Very welcoming. Owners are very nice. Hotel is clean. We were on a multi state motorcycle ride and the owners could not be nicer. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Yelp
I know where I'll be staying the next time I'm in Panguitch! This motel is clear, affordable, and right in the center of town in easy walking distance to Panguitch's few restaurants, cafes and shops. I was greeted with a smile at the front desk -- not to mention a bowl of small chocolates for guests -- and had no trouble finding my room. The property has a lovely manicured lawn and just resurfaced their parking lot, so that was a nice bonus. This property has been around for a while, but feels nearly brand new with fresh linens and modern amenities. My room had everything I needed: shampoo, a mini fridge, a microwave, extra cold AC, etc.! And I enjoyed the old-school touches (think physical keys, not keycards). For a convenient, relaxing, bargain stay in the heart of this quaint town and just up the road from Bryce Canyon, look no further!

Yelp
Stayed in room 6 on October 26, 2019. Nice friendly lady checked us in, gave us the free wifi password and her recommendation for dinner. Comfortable beds and great water pressure in the shower. Would definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Penguitch UT on another road trip.

Yelp
Blue pine motel was super clean and friendly. They checked me in let and was super accommodating. I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
What a great little find! Friendly, helpful, clean and convenient to everything! The room is spotless with a comfortable bed and great bathroom. I'd highly recommend this motel.

Yelp
Affordable, clean, hot shower, close to Bryce canyon with local businesses within short driving distance or walking distance. That pretty much sums Blue Pine, and that's all that I'm looking for when it comes to a place to stay. I have to admit, I have never stayed in a motel before, and the name "motel" doesn't strike a positive note in my mind. However, on a pinch over thanksgiving break, we booked our 2-night stays here while visiting Bryce canyon and Zion. I'm glad we did. It was a very comfortable stay. When we checked in, the owner told us that he already turned on the heat in the room some time ago so it was nice a toasty when we got in (very nice considering that we arrived in a snow storm). The place shows it's age but is very clean. The heater is loud so if you're a light sleeper, this may not be the place for you. The mini fridge and microwave are very clean and are always useful to have, especially when it's cold outside and everything is closed. The vacancy sign outside is definitely confusing. It shows no vacancy but I see not many cars parked in the parking lot at all. Perhaps there are a lot of no-shows because of the snow? I would definitely stay here again or recommend others to this location.

Yelp
Stayed here last night and was super impressed. The motel is clean and centrally located and well priced. Will definitely stay here the next time we are in the area. Also noteworthy was a very nicely maintained putting green with real grass.

Mark H.

Yelp
Clean, up to date basic motel room. Wifi good, AC works, frig, microwave. A great value at under $75. The big rigs run down the highway all night, so bring earplugs. Front desk a bit rude and unaccomidating.

Erik M.

Yelp
Yes it's worth 5 stars. It's a quaint mom 'n pop vintage motel. In Panguitch, that's not saying much since they all are quaint vintage mom 'n pop vintage motels except for an aging Comfort Inn. However, if I had to choose which quint mom 'n pop vintage motel to stay in, this one wins hands down. Not that I've stayed in many here, but I did live here one summer and people talk and no one had anything bad to say about the place. (Did I mention it's a small town?) This one even has a putting green. Good thing too since there is absolutely no golf course anywhere near by. But there is a lot of nature and national parks in the vicinity. Nice staff, updated rooms, reasonable features: hair dryer, coffee maker, flat screen television with a whole bunch of satellite channels to select from, and free wifi. We'll stay here again next time we are passing through Panguitch. Oh, and you can easily book them on booking.com (since there are only 21 rooms it may be a good idea). EDIT: Okay, someone mentioned the doors. Yes, they need some work. Did I mention the place was quaint?

Yelp
we needed a last minute room, luckily for us they had one. cheryl was so accommodating, sweet and a answered all my questions. The rooms were clean and very well taken care of. My mom has als so it was nice to not have any stairs to worry about. highly recommend

Yelp
This is everything I need in a room when I travel. It's clean, quiet, has WIFI (secured, not open). It's clear these folks poured their hearts into remodeling. The result is a simple cinder block building on the exterior opening to a homey inviting space to rest and plan your adventure. They even have suites with multiple bedrooms for groups or families. They are priced very reasonably and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Skip the chain and support a family business.

Yelp
What a charming little motor inn. We drove up from Las Vegas to check it out after seeing it on a "suggested for you" ad. The pictures reminded us of the little resorts in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and it did not disappoint. Very clean and quiet, huge room with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need. The young man who checked us in (Gene) was very friendly and helpful, said to reach out if we had any questions, needed ice or to do laundry. I did speak with the owner when I made the reservation, and am sorry I didn't get to meet her, but I know I'll be returning to Utah and will definitely stay here on future visits. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Yelp
COVID-conscious, with a cozy room available last-minute during a holiday week. Very helpful front desk. Perfect minimal motel- has all the amenities you want, and nothing you don't give a shit about.

Maria R.

Yelp
We stayed here for one night on Memorial Day weekend, as we were road tripping around Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. I did not have any expectation, but I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, it appeared everything like a budget motel, but the inside was really nice. Very bright, two queen beds, clean, and very roomy. It was so much better than Circus Circus Manor that we stayed in the previous night. It was very comfortable stay, pity we only stayed for a night.

Frank S.

Yelp
Very clean rooms at a great price and the staff is excellent. Coffee, fridge and microwave in the room, and as odd as this sounds.....good towels! You seriously won't find a nicer & cleaner room for this price. It is older but don't let that fool you! Thank you

George A.

Yelp
Four of us members from the Sun Lakes Fly Fishing Club check into this motel on September 1st & and checked out on Friday September 4th. For the minimum amount of money, we were charged night per room, I was pleasantly surprised for the excellent service we received and how the clean the rooms were. Each day they came in and cleaned up our messes (we were there to fish for 3 days) and left our rooms in order. Because the fishing was so spectacular, I know we'll be booking additional trips & will gladly stay at the Blue Pine Motel again. Stores & restaurants were within 2-5-minute walk. Great location!!

Yelp
Let me start by saying, I really want to give it a 2 stars for the effort, and because its in a small town, but I find myself unable to overlook the many things. Good: TV- flat screen Cable- HBO Internet- Wireless On the main street, easy to find. Bad: Smelly- an acceptable odor.. but prefer none Wet carpet and dirty Paper-thin wall- I can hear exact conversation from rooms on left and right Loud plumbing- every time someone use the faucet/shower/sink, you'll know Bug on bed- found a black bug, size of pinky nail, hopefully its a beetle, thats what i keep telling myself Heating system wacked- can feel next door's heat from my bed Noisy door front- can hear the next car, motorcycle, truck driving by at anytime Overall, its very presentable for a small town from a distance, and clean at first glance. really appreciate the effort, but I would not stay here again.

Yelp
What a little gem! CLEAN! COMFY! Helpful and sweet staff! This place is right in the heart of this quaint town. Shops and restaurants (good food, just pick a place.) all around. Your only 20 mi.(less then a half hr from Bryce Canyon and all the tourist traps surrounding it with off the chain prices!!! If you really want to ENJOY your stay in the Bryce Canyon area, come stay in Panguitch Ut. at Church's Blue Pine Motel! Thanks Brianna and staff! You helped make a Really good time even better!

Morgan G.

Yelp
I agree with Andrew on the A-ok comment. It was a great stop for us weary travelers after a two day jaunt into the desert for our family with a six year old and 10 year old. We felt well-rested in the morning, which is the most important thing! Pluses: Comfortable beds Friendly service Clean rooms Well kept up inside (a rarity in this price range) Inexpensive Quiet (except for the heater, which came on once in a while) Minuses: No coffee provided with coffee machine No conditioner provided Only two towels for a two bed room I'd stay again if looking for an inexpensive rest in the area!

Mary Cel A.

Yelp
Wonderful accommodation. Smell so good, so clean. Able to accommodate even when we came in late, checked in and checked out quick, same time lol. High five to this place, .....my son (6 yo) said 'this could be my home' as he stepped in the first time at 10:45pm

Mike R.

Yelp
very friendly front desk staff, and even though i t s an older road motel the room was update. Very clean rooms, with the signs of regular updates to interiors. fair price for a tourist area in the hifh season

Bat R.

Yelp
We stayed 2 nights and for the price it was a great choice, older plain looking motel in a town full of the same type of motels serving the surrounding National Parks. We stayed in Tropic last year and in years past at Ruby's Best Western at the entrance to Bryce Canyon but they were twice the price. We'll be staying here again next time. The owners keep the place in good shape & I can see the pride of ownership. Our room had new carpet and fresh paint, beds we're new also. Room very clean! One other item that caught my eye, after our first night I got up at sunrise & took a drive looking for a coffee shop and noticed that the other motels had plenty of vacant rooms, very few cars parked in their lots, but the Blue Pine was packed with their no vacancy sign on. I guess they have a lot of return customers.

Henry B.

Yelp
Reservations assured our neat & tidy room in this small rural community. The room while not over decorated was very clean & updated with all the necessities for our overnight stay. Checkin was friendly & helpful for what the town had to offer & directions. Stay here for a comfortable, quiet sleep while on the road.

Martin A.

Yelp
If this hotel wasn't slightly dated, I'd give it five stars. It was CLEAN, really clean, and smelled great!! Basic room, with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Coffee and ice in the office. The staff is not 24 hours, but will leave a key in your room if you arrive late. The owners are super-friendly and nice... I don't know what the two bad reviews are about concerning them. Nearby to everything... I recommend Kenny Ray's Diner across the street (especially for breakfast-- HUGE pancakes). We will definitely stay here again. Beautiful little town... The way 'Merica used to be.

Lance P.

Yelp
It must be recommended by others because it was the only motel in town with a no vacancy sign. We found it clean, affordable, conveniently located, great place to eat across the street and comfortable. The owner lent me a book on the town history and it was a great read. We don't need a motel with a pool, workout room, gift shop, attached restaurant, 4 partridges in a pear tree and a big price tag. This was perfect but remember to book ahead.

C H.

Yelp
Staff in this Mom & Pop motel are kind & generous folks. They let us use their gas grill to cook dinner, let us fill our small cooler with ice on the way out. Helpful with dining/tourist info. Room was spacious, clean, good lighting and plenty of overlay/ work space. Would definitely stay again at $59/$69 for two rate.
