A three star restaurant rating with a one star service experience. The waiters are extremely negligent and slow...you literally have to beg them to serve you. They are also kinda racist cause they serve white and Asian people before you smh🤦🏾‍♀️😂...But at least the food is good-ish. Overall disappointed with the experience. Had to go and see the animals and waterfalls to calm down. And don't even get me started on the music...the inhouse band if we can call it that. Loud and only sings Kikuyu songs...I have nothing against that but this is a tourist restaurant with people from all over the country and even the world...it should be diverse. The toilets are dirty, stinky, and not baby friendly at all. Honestly, the more I type the angrier I get so let me stop.

Disorganized payment system. The hotel charges Ksh 150 to view the waterfalls and another Ksh 150 for the animal park, or you can pay for each attraction individually. We opted to pay for the animal park only at the main entrance. However, upon arriving at the park gate, we were asked to pay again. This was confusing and disappointing, as we had been clearly told we could pay individually. The hotel needs to improve coordination and provide consistent information to avoid frustrating guests.

It's an old but classic hotel. It offers spectacular views of a nearby waterfall. It has good gardens for leisure, family moments and events

Great meals, loved the fresh air though gets windy sometimes. Nature and animals ✓✓. Strategic location. Delayed service when it's busy.

A quiet and a serene old but well maintained hotel. You all need to sample their samosas, they are my favourite every time I do a stop over while on my mt. Kenya region errands. Chania falls gives you a good therapy as you enjoy your cold beverage or a cup of cappuccino. But be aware of monkeys, they can easily steal your meal or even your phone. The entry gate does not reflect the beauty inside, may be the management will do something about the entry gate in the future.

Attractive, relaxing grounds with shaded dining areas, trees and attractive gardens. We went for lunch on a Monday. Service was good. The whole Tilapia (wet) was really delicious. The dry version had to be sent back for further cooking as it was undercooked. The sautéed potatoes were excellent. The green vegetables were enjoyed. The children enjoyed the play area, although it's dated. We did not stay overnight.

It's a really nice place to cool off with excellent weather.. a little bit of traffic at the entrance esp. coming from Nairobi town.
