Google
Old fashion diner. I’ve been here before for their cinnamon rolls and those are very good, easily the best thing on the menu. I also stopped here for lunch once and it was alright. We all got burgers and fries. The patty melt was the best one. I don’t recommend the pastrami burger. There wasn’t much pastrami on it and a smudge of sauerkraut. The burgers are a little dry, and I could’ve done with a dozen more fries. It was alright over all considering the price being fairly low.

Established before WiFi this Cafe has the small town feel with great food that is missing in life. The Chili dog make with Buffalo (cheese optional) made other places taste like it was from a can. Wow, the pulled pork sandwich was good too. Not over powered and the pork and beans served with fresh crispy tots made this the place to go. Did I mention you can have a beer with your dinner? 5 stars.

Google
The food is excellent and fairly priced. The Buffalo Chili was out of this world 🌎.. Our grandson who's 3 asked for the hamburger with ham on it. My wife had a mushroom and cheddar cheese hamburger and all were very happy. Potato salad and the sweet potato fries were excellent too

Google
One of our favorite restaurants. Will be sad when they are no longer serving. We have always had great experiences, amazing food, and wonderful customer service. Love this place. It's truly a staple in this little town.

Google
Nice folks! Wonderful bread made there that morning. The building needs upkeep but we heard the owners may be retiring soon so understandable.

Google
Nice little place to stop by to get your morning started. They bake most all of the own bread. You really can't go wrong with that you order. They serve all the classics and do them well.

Really yummy food in this small town restaurant. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Google
Blue ribbon is a family favorite of ours. We've gotten their deserts and dinners/lunches and their blue ribbon chicken is a personal favorite of mine. As far as deserts their cinnamon rolls are very heavy on the cinnamon so I opt for their fruit rolls. A great place to get your classic family meal ❤ pictured is their blueberry roll

Yelp
Went here when we were driving through town and needed a meal. The place is older and the seats could use some work. Only one person was working so service was slow but we went during an off time, so it is understandable. Had a Ruben and beefy potato soup. Soup was good and the sandwich was average. Wife had steak fingers which were also average in taste and small in size. Mother in law had a chicken salad that was big and she enjoyed.

Yelp
The meat was tender and cooked just right. I paired it with their house wine and it worked so well together. The place had a nice quiet vibe. Definitely one of my go-to spots for steak.

Sherry S.

Yelp
Great food and reasonable pricing also yummy bakery products to take home. The staff is very friendly and gives great service. Also you can order ahead and drive through to pick it up.

Tyler G.

Yelp
The service was great. We enjoyed our dinner here. The Tuscan Alfredo was good and the triple club was okay. Had a fun diner feel, but lots of flies in late August.

Timothy T.

Yelp
Attentive service. Homemade food throughout their menu. I had the chili and it was tasty- just right on the spices. Even has a fresh baked dinner roll. That alone was worth the trip to Emmett. Wife had the Club Sandwich and was impressed with the fresh homemade bread and non- processed turkey. Generous portions! Wife also said best fry sauce ever for the fries We will be back. Should be featured on Diners Drive Ins and Dives.

Yelp
Our annual trip to Emmett would not be complete without a stop at the Blue Ribbon. Chicken Fried Steak covers one plate while the eggs, red taters and toast covered the second, thick gravy Mmmmm Mmm Good Stuff. The wife enjoyed the Breakfast Bowl too. Hopefully we get back this week, I know we will return the next time we are in town.

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up some sweets for my hospice clients. Wanted to find a local bakery and boy did I find one. I love mom & pop places of business and especially eateries. The small parking area was packed and when you walk in there's no room for an entry area - they put in as much seating areas as they can. One person here reviewed that upon walking in, everyone looks up and stares. What a crack-up, but yes it's true. Put me off for a bit, but heck I'm Asian and was the only person of color in the place, so didn't faze me much. The place was filled with locals eating breakfast - that's a sign of great food. Headed straight for the bakery case and someone greeted me right away and took care of my order. For how crowded it was, that was a pleasant surprise. My clients loved their pecan roll, muffins and Thanksgiving cookies. Mission accomplished. Will be back to try breakfast or lunch.

Yelp
Great little dinner that serves alcohol. The best Chili Hotdog I've tasted, made with Buffalo. The pulled pork sandwich was good! You could taste the pulled pork, and the bacon baked beans complimeted the totts and sandwich.

Steve B.

Yelp
Well used old restaurant. Service is not very prompt and food not very good. Had delays in food and come out cold somehow. Not a good atmosphere at all. If customers don't recognize you the stares and looks will make you not come back.
google avatar

Jacque G.

Yelp
The food here was really good. Large portions, came out hot, quick and with a smile! Would recommend trying it out even if it's a bit of a drive for you!
google avatar

Christine W.

Yelp
This little gem has amazing food! And amazing service! From what I understand they make everything from scratch which is amazing! So glad that I came to Emmett to pick up some milk :-) I will be back definitely! LOL

Yelp
If you want breakfast in Emmett this is a great option. Fresh food and a family feel, quintessential small town diner. My family goes crazy for the sticky caramel pecan rolls- they are HUGE and made fresh daily. We tried the elephant ear (large fried bread), logger special (potatoes, onions, cheese, biscuit and eggs) and a side of fruit. Food came quickly and service was good too. The logger special is Saturday only, but it was delicious- clean plate for that one! Their biscuits are large and square. They were understanding when my daughter knocked over my full water glass. Oops! They can get busy on the weekends, especially when there are local events going on like something at the nearby racetrack. Come early and get some great food and great service! The elephant ear is like going to the state fair- such a treat?

Yelp
I was in town for my high school class reunion. I won't say how long it's been, let's just say it's been more than 10 years. One of my classmates' family ran a drive-in at this location for many years. A later owner reconfigured the building and made it a sit-down diner. We came in for breakfast and I ordered the huckleberry pancakes, which came with bacon and scrambled eggs. Everything tasted good and the food came out in good time. The staff was friendly and we saw several people we knew who still live in Emmett. Great visit.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
You want to know how good the food is here? They have sourdough pancakes with huckleberries, and I ate them without syrup. Yeah. No syrup, it would have just blasted the flavor, and the flavor was amazing. My wife's french toast? They make their own brioche, and they use that to make the french toast, and again, we ate it without syrup. It was that good. Friendly staff, even when the place was slammed on a Memorial Day. Never ending coffee. We were so stuffed we didn't get any cinnamon rolls, although they made me drool. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Todd W.

Yelp
Breakfast Menu No Sourdough Pancakes anymore. Still have the best Cinnamon Rolls and Pecan rolls!!

Lisa M.

Yelp
OMG--absolutely DELICIOUS--the people are so nice there, the pastries are YUMMY, and it seems to be one of the best neighborhood places for breakfast. Try the cinnamon rolls--amazing! Cookies--peanut butter chocolate chip! Pastries--raspberry crème!

Frances H.

Yelp
This used to be the best breakfast in town, not anymore. The fried potatoes had a rancid oil flavor and all 3 of us couldn't eat them. My sausage patty was way overcooked and when I told the waitress about it she just said she would let the chef know and didn't take a dime off of the bill. It was clear the only thing any of us ate was eggs and toast. Come on, guys.

Yelp
I love all the workers and how sweet they are. They are polite and keep conversation. Always making sure if the customer needs anything. The food tastes great and there is many options of the menu then other places have. When you walk in you are welcomed and a server is with you by 1 to 2 minutes. The booths and bench's are comfy and plenty of space. They are one of the most welcoming restaurant in Emmett.
google avatar

Raquel S.

Yelp
Was out in Emmett and decided to stop in for dinner. Had chicken strip dinner and French dip sandwich. Portions were good. Decent price. Food was a little on the bland side. Service was slow and not very attentive.

Lori T.

Yelp
Blue Ribbon has fresh baked bread every day. We buy loaves of it for home. & some of the best cookies & cinnamon rolls around.
google avatar

Tina K.

Yelp
Cutest cafe around. The menu is huge from breakfast to lunch. The tuna sandwich is delicious, I added melted American cheese & it was perfect! Not to mention their freshly baked bread is mouth watering. The kids cheeseburger is HUGE! Our server was so sweet & made us feel right at home. I have no complaints about this place. Definitely a 10/10 first time experience.
google avatar

Christi T.

Yelp
Not welcoming when you walk in, very confusing if you're supposed to be seated or seat yourself. When you walk in the entire restaurant looks at you staring. When you eventually sit down the staff is then very friendly and nice. The food wasn't the best in my opinion. My MIL does like the food however. I've been here 2or 3 times and I'm not impressed at all

Aaron L.

Yelp
Amazingly Fresh food and service! Old school ambiance! Open at 8 am again! You'll feel right at home
google avatar

Valorie R.

Yelp
Excellent food! Prompt service. Old fashioned family friendly diner. Menu is loaded with down home comfort food that is priced right. We can't wait to go back and try something different. Once again, the servers were Great! Place CLEAN!
google avatar

D'on W.

Yelp
Great home style atmosphere and food. Plus you felt like you knew everyone for your whole life
google avatar

Lance M.

Yelp
It is a typical small town place, just good food and a good menu. It is convenient and the staff friendly. They even have a drive through if you call ahead.
google avatar

Dennis P.

Yelp
Always good food freshly made. Wether it's lunch or dinner you will not go away hungry as the portions are nice.
google avatar

Bart R.

Yelp
Been there several times always have had a great meal there. Thumbs up for my wife and me. Chicken fried steak is great Service is on the tops.
google avatar

Barb F.

Yelp
This little hole is in the wall restaurant has fantastic food and bakery items. It's a little small but we've always had a place to sit.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
Not a big fan. We have been here several times and have not been impressed. I realize many people are crazy about this diner, but I cannot get excited about the food here.

Gina K.

Yelp
Came here for dinner after a long day of travel. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and was super good. We had a cheeseburger, a Rueben and a grilled cheese. We would definitely come back.
google avatar

Melissa G.

Yelp
Randomly stopped in. Expected mediocre food but we were delighted how good the food was. Thank you.

Yelp
Old infrastructure cared for as carefully as one imagines it could be on limited budget, this is clearly an "old timer" building housing a long time restaurant that is a favorite with locals it seems based on folks inside and conversations overheard during our visit. Choose carefully from the menu and this can be a decent place for a bite in Emmett if you're passing through at meal time. Okay food, low prices, pleasant service. The young manager was also server for us and based on his interactions with us, other customers and staff his personable approach was one of the most enjoyable pieces of the experience. A hitch here was the bakery. This is advertised "...& Bakery" but the pie slice we ordered was far past prime and so soggy we couldn't eat it. I'd avoid bakery items were we back again. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: In paved. un-striped lot. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Looks like one entry may be level in. The other has a makeshift short concrete ramp over single step up. Seemed all on one floor inside. Tight spaces for anyone pushing stroller or using wheelchair. Some tables looked as if enough space to be wheelchair accessible. 3) OUTDOOR TABLES: Handful or less of tables outside in front right on the street. But for weather not permitting on the day of our visit, this would be our choice for seating here.

Maggie Z.

Yelp
I couldn't leave zero stars or I would. This has become the greedy shady business of Emmett. Once respected for great food has turned into a place where they yell at handicapped customers for not tipping enough. $7.00 on a $18.00 bill is more than enough for a single family on disability. Be thankful for the business instead of shaming people. Your drive thru window changes tip amounts after customers leave and "Bubba" who answered the phone said it would be corrected. Lies. You should be ashamed!
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
The food is great and you definitely get a lot of food for the price, the staff (for me at least), was also nice. I wish there were a bit more structure to it however, since its not immediately obvious if you have to wait to be seated or if you can just go sit, assuming there is space available. The waffle I basically had as a dessert was amazing!
google avatar

R B.

Yelp
This is my kind of place for especially for breakfast, with thier fresh baked breads, cinnamon rolls and hearty menu items it's hard to go wrong. The place isn't much to look at, but makes up for it with it's food and friendly service. I had a pancake combo that was very good, featuring sourdough pancakes, thick cut smokey bacon, and eggs. Being in Idaho I had to add some of thier fried potatoes. It was delicious, filling, and at a very reasonable price. Service was very friendly, helpful, and quick. How does a place like this get even better? They have loafs of thier homemade bread available for purchase to take home. While I had breakfast here, I wouldn't hesitate to stop here anytime for a meal. I will definitely be back when in the area.

Yelp
Beautiful, tasty food and the service is great! The Bakery is incredible! Wish they were open on Sunday.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm especially happy with the service at the Blue Ribbon. Plus you're bound to see friends there! The breakfast is my favorite. Good home style potatoes. But if there are any cinnamon buns- grab one even it's to take home! I love the grilled chicken salad for lunch. Yum!

Ben M.

Yelp
Do you like an informal small-town diner where nothing on the menu is pretentious and everything tastes good? Blue Ribbon is for you. Comfort food in the heart of Emmett and we love it. :)
google avatar

Yelp
If you want homemade from home I absolutely recommend this place there food is wonderful and there service even better Lacosta is so sweet There bread is Amazing there breakfasts is warm and delicious Go give them your support
google avatar

Jeannie R.

Yelp
This is my favorite place. My dad lives in an assisted living in Emmett so we take him for lunch every Saturday. The food is home cooked and delicious. There's a bakery case full of goodies and the staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are low. The place is packed at lunchtime though, so sometimes you have to wait, especially on Saturday.
google avatar

Cheryl W.

Yelp
Due to this darn virus, we ordered an early dinner for drive through pick-up after my mom's memorial service. Every meal was warm and as delicious as though it had been delivered to our table at the restaurant :)

Yelp
Went for the first time today. Food was delicious , I got the Philly Cheesesteak "Wow" yummy plenty of everything on my fabulous sandwich. Very homey feeling with wonderful people working there, our server was Vicky what a sweet young lady, great smile, patient ( we couldn't make - up our minds at first because everyone's food looked sooooooo yummy around us). I'm going to bring my husband with me next time , he would just love it, the man enjoys good food! After a huge lunch my friend Steph and I bought some of Blue Ribbons Fresh baked goods ( only to take home if course, we we're toooo full to eat any more). Please try this fabulous Cafe and Bakery your tummy will be HAPPY. Table 8 Order # 1026-29844 Linda from Nampa

Yelp
The place is small but the people working there were fast and efficient. The cinnamon bun we got was very good as was my chicken fried steak. So I give it a thumbs up if you would like to go to a small nonfranchise business.
google avatar

Steven T.

Yelp
This was the first time I have been to this place and I loved it. I ordered the waffle with bacon and eggs. I also ordered a side of biscuits and gravy. The food came out pretty quick. The waffle was just the right amount of crispy and it had a sweet taste to it. I think it might have been vanilla. I'm not sure. All I know is that it was one of the best waffles I have ever had and I have had many of them. The biscuits and gravy was pretty yummy. The biscuit was nice and soft with butter on top of the biscuit. It was drenched with sausage gravy. The gravy was good, I would have put a little more salt on it, but other than that it was yummy. I thought service was good as well. Nice little place to have some good breakfast. I recommend trying this place out.
google avatar

Cyn D.

Yelp
Terrific Reuben and tots. The pork loin special was tasty too. Friendly service and clean bathrooms!
google avatar

Rhianna W.

Yelp
So it's a bakery.... can you say fresh hamburger buns daily? Freshly made daily pies and cinnamon rolls it's just good
google avatar

Linda J.

Yelp
Great service, great food, cozy homey atmosphere. You get a lot of food for cheap. Had the double meat omelette and had to tap out halfway through. Fresh coffee that was delicious. The biggest Maple bars and cinnamon rolls I have ever seen. We'll be back on our next trip to Idaho.
google avatar

Amber O.

Yelp
Really good food. Excellent bakery and prices. Lots on the menu. Good service. Best maple bar doughnuts and Reuben sandwich we've ever had. Consistently good food and dependable service. The atmosphere is lacking, and we have often driven through the parking lot and kept going due to lack of adequate seating for a group of 5 or 7. The quality of their food and service in a bigger, maybe prettier, location would be incredible. Very grateful for this place.
