Staying at Blue Sand was an unforgettable experience. The view alone is worth the trip—perched above Agali Beach, the hotel offers breathtaking panoramas of the sea that change beautifully throughout the day, from golden sunrise to glowing sunset.||The service was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, blending warm Greek hospitality with genuine care and attention to detail. Every interaction felt personal, as if I were staying with friends rather than at a hotel.||The food was another highlight. Breakfasts were fresh and delicious, with local ingredients and flavors that gave me a true taste of Folegandros. Each meal felt thoughtful and satisfying, the perfect way to start or end a day by the water.||If you’re looking for a place that combines stunning views, exceptional service, and memorable dining, Blue Sand is the perfect choice.

Absolutely beautiful place located near the center of the island! They have thought of everything. The room was amazing , bed comfortable, great view of beach and mountains. They have chairs , towels and umbrellas for you to take to beach. The restaurant and bar on site was very good and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Blue Sand hotel is a truly beautiful boutique hotel. We loved every minute we have spent in the hotel. Our room (number 109) was lovely designed with a gorgeous view. Very good breakfast. We will come back!!

We stayed in Villa #1 which sits just above the main road and about a 5 minute drive from the main hotel. It is just outside of the main town of Chora. The villa was very private, had great views, and was beautifully designed and arranged. It had its own plunge pool which was perfect for cooling off. Sunrises were amazing. There was a few restaurants, market, and cafes just down the street. ||The staff was extremely accommodating picking us up at the port and provided a return transfer. We also took advantage of the private boat tour which is captained by the husband. Well worth it and got to see some hard to reach beaches.||Highly recommend renting an ATV as it is a great way to explore the island.||Would recommend and hope to be back.

By far the most special place we could have imagined for our honeymoon! Everyone was so welcoming, the location was spectacular, and the rooms were unbelievable. The breakfast that’s included every morning was 10/10. We can’t wait to return.

I took the precaution of asking the hotel by email if outside guests could have breakfast. I received immediate confirmation. But unfortunately, upon our arrival, we were informed that it was a mistake. I wrote to them by email that I was disappointed. No response, no apologies. Too bad.

I really thought about not leaving a review because I would very much like this entire island to stay off the radar, but it was so exceptional that I want to share. ||This little hotel is perfectly situated on a beautiful cove with views that can break your heart and revive your soul. Our room was small but had everything we needed, and it had exceptional outside space with TWO balconies overlooking the mountains and the sea.||The service could not have been better. From friendly and welcoming check-in to beautiful breakfast served in their charming restaurant, everything was as close to perfect as it gets.||In the evenings before dinner we sat on our balcony with homemade lemonade and watched the donkeys graze on the hillside. We fell asleep to the sounds of the waves after days of hiking and swimming.||Folegandros is not for you if you're looking for nightlife. It's a small island with maybe 700 residents. There's not a lot to do except hike, swim and eat. And speaking of eating, we had dinner in the hotel's restaurant twice and the food was great. The chef is Italian and the cuisine offers the best of the Mediterranean. ||We will definitely come back to this sweet little hotel. Bonus: there's a wonderful boutique in the lobby filled with gorgeous Greek fashions and jewelry.

My wife and I had the fortune of staying at Blue Sand Boutique for our honeymoon and we had a blast. The whole experience was incredible. First off, the location and views are phenomenal. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They answered all questions and provided great insight. The restaurant in the hotel is also great. Breakfast is tasty and healthy while dinner feels like a home cooked meal. We loved our beach view room as well! We were so sad to leave but we will return.
