Blue Sea Calas Marina

Arrived and got a room that was filthy. Mould on shower walls and we had booked a double room (through teletext holidays). We complained, put in another room and advised there were no double beds in the entire hotel. Next room had a leaking air con unit. Another complaint and it was sorted out later that day. Breakfast is nothing to write home about; buffet style but nothing of quality. Room very basic, no refreshments or facilities whatsoever. They want to charge you for the rent of the safe in the room for your valuables. Dispute having do not disturb sign on door, we were constantly being disturbed, which is a real concern. Changing a light bulb Was one of them!!! The stay has not been peaceful. Would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. Once we were here we were a bit stuck having prepaid for it. I wish we had read more reviews and we wouldn't have chosen here. Please please be warned!!!

stayed here for 10 nights bed & breakfast. Out of the 10 nights had breakfast twice (it was awful). Glad i was not full board. Diego on reception was good the rest were a joke very unhelpful & miserable looking & didn't speak English. The room was ok to shower & sleep in no hairdryer, fridge or kettle in room tv was in Spanish. Room were cleaned & fresh towels daily. Bus stop over road & beach about 5mins walk. 40 mins walk to old town which was a nice walk during day. The area is ok if you don't want to be right in the town bus costs €1.50 into town. I would go back to the area but definetely would not stay in that hotel again

Where do i start me and my family stayed here for 7 nights bed and breakfast. The food was terrible eggs cold and hard yolk, sausages cold, beans cold. Juice not juice. Diego the receptionist was lovely though helped us out spoke good english. Receptionist manager, women always in black was sour faced and didnt want to help us. We used the games room on a rainey day playing pool and cards and she told us to be quiet even though we werent loud plus it is a games room. The rooms are out of date but beds are comfy. The shower positioned in a strange way and flooded the room every time we used it. Also asked for 2 double rooms and got a twin and a triple which wasnt what we asked for. The room me and my partner had was infested with bed bugs and ive come home with bites all over my legs and my partner has them on his back. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels but clearly the beds werent checked. No fridge or kettle in room in the heat you want cold drinks but thats not possible here. Good distance from the beach. Overall would not stay again.

Catered for Spanish only. Food was bad. Entertainment worse. Staff lovely. Too far out if you want to go into centre of Benidorm costs 11 euro in taxi at night. Would not recommend it for non Spanish people.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights bed and breakfast. Well let me just inform anyone who is thinking of booking a room there this. The food was an absolute disgrace and inedible!! The pool was freezing cold!! The staff were ignorant and unhelpful and who the hell wants to stay in a hotel in a country renowned for its hot weather that doesn't provide a fridge!! Had to convert b-day into makeshift fridge and the cleaners would just walk into room wether you were there or not!! Sunmaster owe us!!! Other holidaymakers whilst we were there also complained about these very same issues!! 3 stars my ass!!! Seriously folks, avoid the calas marina hotel!!

Lovely dining room staff! Basic hotel with average food but represents value. Good air conditioning in rooms. Great free wifi reception in rooms. All rooms with balcony.

Been here 2 days breakfast is good. Can get full English fry up. Cereals toast etc bun. Tea n coffee. Evening meal seems ok choice of hot food n salads

We stayed there couple of weeks ago .its like going back to the 1970s very dated .breakfast not great either . A lot of spanish staying (ok it is in spain ) we found the hotel staff ok but out in the resort in bars and resturants very rude and ignorant .never had this in spain before . I know you get what you pay for but come on travel lodges are reasonable and modern
