Blue Sky Mining BnB & Lodge

So I booked for two nights. They gave me keys for the room and the gate. Lovely place. 4am I'm out of food and booze and decide, hell, let's see what this town has available. I use all the keys. None work. So I hoot. Big mistake apparently. I got kicked out of the place at 4am and after booking for two days they tell me I'm "not eligible for a refund" So no. This place is a scam. They'll steal your money. You will never taste their "hot or cold breakfast" They'll kick you out and not return your cash. I'm out R2000,00 and I still don't know what happened. Whatever you do, make sure you number plate doesn't show "GP" and make sure you don't get conned like I was. Everyone will recommend Barrett and Blue Sky Mining. Don't get sucked in like I was. Scammers. 100% Edit: It must be nice to own a place where you can make up stories. If your "disruptive behaviour" is the fact that.your gate remote didn't work and that I needed to hoot for attention... that's insane. Besides reckless endangerment to your clients, kicking them out at 4am, and refusing to return not only their stay for the night but also for the next night they booked and payed for, what else is it if not a scam? If you are so certain, please can you send your full name and ID number to the email you have on file so we can take this further in court

A really nice hidden getaway. It's quiet and has a great view of the ocean. You can also spot monkeys sometimes. It's a nice distance from Durban and from a quaint restaurant called The Terrace. Staff and owners are friendly and the food for dinner is well priced. We were sad to go but will gladly go back!

What an amazing place to have my daughter and her friends Pre drinks at. The staff was so accommodating and friendly and the food was amazing. They really went out of their way to make it so special for everyone. Thank you guys.

Welcoming and relaxed vibe. Pet friendly in a beautiful tropical garden with a crystal clear rock pool. Lots of space. A home away from home. Cozy log cabin and seaviews are amazing. Walking distance from the beach. Excellent services. Delicious meals- especially the curry dishes. Can't wait to return.

Awesome 4 days with the team at blue sky. Amazing deck, cosey cabin and fantastic food. Great access to beaches and surrounds. Revitalising experience.

We stayed for 12 days. The staff were so friendly and always helpful. Nothing were too much effort for them. Clean rooms serviced every day. Food just so tasty. Lovely view from deck. Just loved the geese on the property. Would recommend this place. Keep cash at hand as they take cash for food and bar. If you want to have peace and quiet this is the place!
