I love this place and stop by anytime I'm in the area. The breakfast and lunch sandwiches are awesome and high quality, especially the BLT on ciabatta, the egg avocado and cheddar, and the chicken mozzarella pesto red pepper panini. Great coffee drinks and baked goods too. The folks who work here are so nice--good vibes in the store.

TLDR: Chill coffee shop (no pun intended) w/ ice cream cookie sandwiches and affogato. The funny part is their ice cream is literally from Trader Joe’s and their cookies, I presume, are similarly “locally sourced”. Can’t hate the result or the hustle tho - affogato and ice cream cookie sandwiches still were quite tasty.

It’s a small cafe and there’s only two tables and a bar seating area. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is decent. This place is always busy but was quick to grab and go. I’d be back to try different breakfast items and drinks!

I like this place. The food is really good and its a friendly neighborhood spot. Wish they had more places to sit!

Great little coffee shop / café with an extensive menu. Decent amount of seating. Staff was friendly and efficient. Coffee is flavorful and the bagels we had were fresh and generously topped with our spread of choice. Would recommend.

Such a cute little coffee shop tucked on a corner -- the perfect cozy stop during a New York morning. I ordered a lavender latte, and it was delicious: smooth, fragrant, and not overly sweet. Their menu has great options, and I love that they offer food as well, making it easy to grab a full breakfast or a quick bite. Service was warm and friendly, which made the experience even better. If you're in the area and want a charming spot with good drinks and good vibes, Blue Spoon Coffee is definitely worth checking out!

The staff were so friendly and patient with our various menu questions :) Our breakfast was fresh, tasty, & offered more food than we anticipated. We didn't try the coffee options but will be sure to do so on our next NY visit as the presentation was perfection (couldn't help but peek at our neighbor's choices). Kind service and great prices at Blue Spoon. I had a Cold Brew and my friend had the Cinnamon Maple latte and both were delicious!! I also had the breakfast sandwich with bacon on everything which was piping hot and perfect with a side of hot sauce. Will be back to Blue Spoon!

Great location in FiDi. Kind of small but made it very cozy especially as the weather has started to get colder. The sandwich was pretty great and the coffee was delicious. The staff was very helpful in helping us decide what to eat as well. We were in town for a few days and went every morning.

Tiny little cafe with a big breakfast menu. Big portions with good ingredients. Egg, Cheddar, Pork Sausage Sandwich: If you're ravenous at breakfast, this is the sandwich for you! Two pork sausage patties and two eggs! A soft bun and lots of cheese. I actually felt this was a tad too porky for me, since there was a texture/flavor imbalance where I didn't get to truly appreciate the other ingredients. But it was great to keep full until a late lunch.

Try the chicken and dumpling soup. You won't regret it! So delicious. I hope this location never closes!

We dropped in here for some coffee and a quick breakfast. Our coffee was delicious as well as our sandwiches. There is VERY little seating since they obviously cater to the on-the-un folks, but there is a table and small counter with stools. Great place to grab a quick breakfast in this neighborhood.

Grabbed a delicious gingerbread latte here recently - I had walked past it quite a few times and never had the excuse to go in! The gingerbread latte was good, as was the cold brew. Service was fairly quick and friendly and it had a neighborhood feel inside. The interior is small so not too much room to eat (it's often busy when I walk by) unless you get lucky - would say there's about 2 tables and a counter, but when the weather is warmer they sometimes have a table or two outside too. The breakfast sandwiches smelled yummy as well though I was on my way to brunch so was unable to partake. Next time!

The taste experience and the service experience both satisfy. I visit this spot on a regular basis. The workers display real workplace contentment. The cooking quality surprises everyone. This place merits your visit.

Right around the corner... Who knew how cosy the Financial District is!! We wandered her around the corner finding smiling faces and great coffee. I had an egg plate and some bacon, hit the spot. Hot coffee.... always nice. Sat outside!

Was in the area looking for a nice coffee spot to relax before catching my way home and stumbled upon Blue Spoon Coffee. The Food: Got myself a iced coffee for this visit. Coffee was good and straightforward. Not too sweet or too bitter. The Service: Service was fast and the staff here were friendly! The Atmosphere: Nice and small coffee shop. Spacious enough to loiter a bit and have a cup of coffee or pastry. And clean as well. Overall, a 4/5. Very nice spot to get a quick cup of coffee or to relax. Recommend stopping by if you have a chance.

great cortado, solid breakfast sandwich. coffee is done well, the breakfast sando is $11 but is double on everything - cheese sausage and egg, with a fluffy bun.

I work in the financial district and it's a bit of a hobby to find new places to eat lunch. It's a very dynamic neighborhood and among all the obvious joints there are a few real gems. Blue Spoon is one such gem. I discovered it by walking past the window on the way to Taim (serviceable and delicious - but cold and assembly line chain around the corner) and seeing someone sitting at the blue spoon counter eating a delicious sandwich on what looked like amazing bread. Amazing bread is not something I see a lot of down here so I went in and ordered a BLT ($11.95) I think it was the best BLT I have ever had. For real. Inside I realized that the baguette was actually from Balthazar- and the bacon was super thick and super crispy which I love. On following occasions I have gotten the cheddar/avocado sandwich. Also fresh and delicious and affordable. If you go early (11:55am) you can snag a seat at one of two small tables or one of two small counters. The music selection was great and the counter people were super friendly and smiling (not that I think every counter person should be forced to smile, but it just stuck with me and made me feel human for a moment!) I fully recommend it. I hope they stay around forever.

One of the few spots in the area where I was able to grab a coffee and set up to get some work done. I ordered a hot mocha latte and sausage, egg, and cheese on a brioche bun and both were pretty good. Coffee wasn't overly sweet and I was definitely happy with the choice. Additionally, service was fast and the shop is kept clean. There's definitely limited space but I thought blue spoon was a good coffee shop.

The chocolate chip cookies are to die for! They melt in your mouth even days after storing. The best I've EVER had...PERIOD! Wish they delivered to Queens.

My favorite coffee shop in the area! The staff are so, so nice, the coffee is great, the bagels are amazing (brought in from a Brooklyn bagel shop each day), food is great, and I love their baked goods. Would benefit from a little more variety in their scone options, but the oat currant one is very good. Don't miss it if you're in FiDi- even if it's a Saturday!

The best treat yourself before work breakfast spot in FiDi. Also intelligenstia espresso. Worth a stop. Haven't had lunch before but sure it's good too

Love Blue Spoon so much but why are they not open on Sundays!? It is always the day that I want to go get something from there. Really love the food though even if it is a bit overpriced.

This cafe is a great spot to stop by when you're in the area. It is near the Fulton Street station and across the street from the Pearson testing center. Staff are super friendly and are always in a good mood. Although the cafe is tiny, seats open up quick. There are also stools lining one side of the windows. I've tried their toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, jasmine green tea, and cranberry scone. Their bagels are one of the best and on par with Brooklyn bagels! I'm a bagel connoisseur and won't finish them if they aren't good. I devoured this! The smear isn't just a smear either and I love that they do not skimp on cream cheese. The cranberry scone was my least favorite. It was too dry, but the flavor was there. I'll definitely stop by when I'm in the area again and order their bagel! Maybe I'll try their sandwiches next time... maybe.

Amazing little cafe that I kept going back to a few days during my stay in the FiDi. I tried a variety of iced coffees and lattes, and all were delicious. Wait time wasn't bad, despite the steady flow of people coming in. There's also an assortment of good items, but I only got a croissant once, and it was solid. If I'm ever in that part of town again, I would be hard pressed to go anywhere but Blue Spoon!

The oat latte was good but the croissant was extremely dry (at ~8 am in the morning so maybe it wasn't fresh?).

Cute little coffee shop. Staff were friendly and my order came out quickly. I got the smoked turkey, brie, and apple panini. The sandwich was good, was bummed the apple slices were cooked and not crispy and crunchy. I enjoyed my flat white. Be prepared this cafe is small, if you are looking for a coffee shop to eat while you work, space is limited here. Otherwise it was a nice experience overall. I did snag a couple chocolate chip cookies on my way out cuz they looked scrumptious.

Got takeout from here and it was delicious! Roasted Turkey sandwich with apple and Brie was so tasty for brunch/lunch. Honey lavender latte also delicious. Awesome casual spot to grab and go!

Wow I love their coffee! I ordered cappuccino (with famous black cat blend) and drip coffee (with blue spoon blend), all from intelligentsia. Brilliant.

I was super excited to try Blue Spoon after reading such great reviews about their lavender latte and bagels! And the shop was super walkable from where we were staying, so it was a no-brainer. But I don't know if I visited during one of their "off days" or what... the honey lavender latte was just ok and the toasted everything bagel with cream cheese was mediocre. :( I was bummed. I think that I would have to return and give both a second shot...

Location: Blue Spoon coffee is located at FiDi area where you can take 2,3,A,C 4,5 train here. Although place is quiet tiny, they still have some seats to dine in. They serve Intel coffee and their price is comparatively high. Overall: I do not come here often because it is very far from where I live but I guess it is a hot spot for those who reside at FiDi.

Great coffee shop for a morning treat! I got the honey lavender latte and a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The latte was sweet but not too sweet and the bagel was perfectly toasted with the right amount if cream cheese/ Everything was delicious and this was the perfect way to start my morning!

Was visiting NY and found this place near our hotel People were coming in and out on a weekday morning Cashier was friendly and smiled House coffee was very good - smooth and not acidic Bagels were soft and chewy Oatmeal was satisfying The end.

What a charming place - amazing coffee, tea and lunches smack in the middle of the financial district. While the place lacks room and has limited seating, the wonderful service and patrons make up for it in spades. Do yourself a favor, and check it out, you'll be glad you did!

Great place in terms of service and food. The people that work there are very nice and friendly. There's some great breakfast food there that I like to stop by and get on my way to work. It does get super busy on weekday mornings, but that's NY for you. However, I don't think the coffee is that great especially for the price. I tried the iced chai latte and the pumpkin spice latte. Both of them weren't that great. The pumpkin spice latte especially I would not buy again.

This little coffee joint was just around the corner from my hotel and it couldn't have been more perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly no matter what time we strolled through the door. By our second visit they had already remembered us. We enjoyed Honey Lavender Lattes (both hot and cold), Ice Coffees galore, and those addictive chocolate chip cookies. It was such a great vibe that we'd end up chilling there and shooting the breeze with the staff. I was honestly a little sad when the trip came to an end and we bought our last coffees at the shop. It'll always have a special place for me, but hopefully my travels will bring me back into their orbit sometime soon.

Cute little coffee shop in the heart of Fidi - a place lacking in cute food places. I tried the chicken dumpling soup, which was perfectly hot and delicious, and the roast chicken, avocado, cheddar sandwich, which was also delicious. Sandwich was made on Balthazar bread, ingredients tasted top quality. My one complaint was that I waited an hour or so to eat the second half of my sandwich and it didn't taste great because the avocado and lettuce got old fast. But eat your sandwich right away and it'll be delicious! I will definitely be back!

I got a hot honey lavender latte with oat milk and it was great! It wasn't bitter or too sweet. It was, however, pricey but this is in the financial district so I'm not surprised. I went early in the morning and the baristas were very nice and patient with any questions I had. I want to learn to make my own lavender syrup so I can recreate it at home!
