Beautiful spot; the scallops were juicy and plump. The lamb riblets but a little too much fat for me.

The food was fantastic, everything was super fresh and the flavours were 10/10. Such a beautiful spot and very friendly staff. We'll be back!

I stopped in a couple of days in a row for breakfast, expecting it to be a decent cafe (but it’s really the only cafe in this little area!) and found myself amazed. Brilliant coffee, thoughtful food, and cute dogs outside to pat. I’ll be back, for sure.

What an excellent dining experience! Lovely atmosphere, homely feel. Staff are lovely. Food is outstanding! Must try the Halloumi Donut! Also grab some of the rosemary salt they sell.

We had lunch here a few days ago and it was fantastic! I am allergic to dairy and beef and usually have difficulty eating at regular cafes and restaurants because of this, but I had a great experience. The menu here is super clearly labelled (labelled if vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or dairy free) and there are lots of options for dietary requirements - which made me very happy. We had the fish tacos, the pork ragu, and the seafood laksa, and everything was very tasty! We shared the food and this was made very easy. Thanks again for having great dairy free options and food for everyone!

My friends and I went here on a Sunday morning and we were a party of 8. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend, just across the road from the beach/ lake. Coffee and smoothies were nice too!

I had an amazing birthday celebration with my "Australian family" at The Blue Swimmer a few days ago! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and welcoming vibe instantly made me feel at home (in Italy). Every dish was made with love and real care—the aromas alone transported me straight to Tuscany. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to make our night special. But the real surprise? The homemade cotechino—something I never expected to find in Australia! As an Italian, I hadn’t tasted one like that since my mother used to make it. It was more than delicious: nostalgic, emotional, and unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your kindness and impeccable service. You turned a celebration into a cherished memory. Bravi ragazzi, continuate così! A presto!

We were lucky enough to have the table right at the front on the deck outside, serene, just serene, watching the world go by while enjoying a few drinks and superbly prepared food. Excellent value for money, the service was both friendly and efficient. I’d happily recommend to friends and family passing through.

This place has a really lovely welcoming atmosphere. We booked for a special birthday dinner and were not disappointed. The fish of the day and fish stew were delicious, as was the ceviche! I would recommend this place to anyone having a quiet weekend down the south coast.

Lovely view from the cafe of the sea. Inside it is really nicely furnished with a slightly open kitchen which was very well maintained and cleaned which is always a good sign. The menu had a good mix of healthy and artery clogging items. I went for the banana bread with banoffee, mascarpone, honeycomb and pistachios. It was to die for big portion. On the table someone had the bacon and egg roll which came with a tomato jam/salsa thing that smelt great, the other person had the muesli which had some lovely components. The coffee and orange juice were great the hot chocolate wasn't. 3 people, 3 breakfasts, 3 drink $68. 31/08/16

The service is excellent and the food is lovely, though the serving sizes are not on par with the price tag. The fish of the day is always delightful, but would a healthy appetite a little disappointed.

What a gem located on Southern Coast NSW. The Blue Swimmer creates a very relaxed atmosphere to enjoy the wonderful menu on offer. Beautiful location in the town of Georra with fantastic fresh sea food on offer. The friendly staff are knowledgeable on the fine wines and add to the relaxed ambiance making the experience extra special. Be sure to sample the desert menu, if there is room after the mains. I was very happy with the Irish Whiskey choices to top off a wonderful evening.

As the son of third generation oyster farmer, I can honestly say that the snapper (line caught too) was sensational! By far, the best I have ever had! I cannot rave enough about this venue, service was top class.

Always great food, service and atmosphere! Highly recommend this restaurant, perfectly situated with views of the water.
