Blue Vista Motor Lodge

We had a lovely stay at the Blue Vista Motor Lodge. We were in the area for a wedding and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were quite comfortable. The view from the motel is absolutely breathtaking! I woke up early one morning and sat in the adronidack chairs to watch the sunrise. Just stunning! Would absolutely recommend this spot for a western MA stay.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Blue Vista Lodge. Our room was spotless and comfortable, the staff was extremely welcoming and attentive, and the hotel’s amenities made our visit even more enjoyable. The lodge offers stunning mountain views, especially at sunrise, and is just a short drive from North Adams, where you’ll find the MASS MoCA and plenty of great restaurants. We highly recommend the Blue Vista Lodge to anyone, especially families, looking to explore the area.

This place is so dreamy. A restored motel overlooking a Mountain View you will never forget. Beds are divine, great and plenty of pillows, wonderful cremes and shampoos. Huge bonus is onsite hot tubs and sauna as well as Adirondack chairs around an evening fire pit. And hammocks! North Adams and Williamstown are nearby (about 7 miles to N Adams) with world class museums and terrific eateries. We brought bikes and rode the Ashuwilltacook Bike trail from Adams to Cheshire, it’s a beauty. Perfect location to be in the mountains with all kinds of activities nearby.

Awesome hospitality and amazing views. Nice weekend anniversary trip to the Berkshires and this hotel was the best part. The views are stunning and almost made hiking local trails irrelevant because looking at the mountains from the hotel was unbeatable. The hot tubs and sauna were so relaxing and the room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice small touches in the hotel room - I especially appreciated that the coffee maker was NOT a Keurig and actually made a decent cup. The North Adams area is very sleepy but I think it’s worth a trek out here just to relax at this hotel.

Blue Vista is in a class all its own! From the beautifully designed comfortable rooms and balconies to the fire pits, hot tubs, sauna, hammocks and friendly staff, staying at this wonderful place is a real treat. The location is also superb - close to restaurants in North Adams and having stunning views right at the property; you won’t find a better place to watch the sunrise! My husband and I have traveled extensively, and Blue Vista is at the top of our list of favorites.

A hiden gem !!! 10 mins from Mohawk Forest and Trails and 15 mins from North Adams with all its attractions. You could just sit outside the lodge and enjoy the magnificent view of the Birkshires. Quiet time reinforced on lodge premises from 10 pm was a bonus :) Staff was superfriendly and welcoming amd rooms were superclean amd renovated. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back !!

We loved staying at the Blue Vista. Stella and her team were friendly and helpful. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. You should stay here for the view alone. We will be back!

Blue Vista is really a great place to stay. The views while seated at the firepits or from your room are incredible, the staff is beyond welcoming and helpful, the beds are comfortable...what else do you need?!? The hot tub/sauna is an excellent addition and is quite relaxing after a long day. 5 stars is not enough!

Really special small motor lodge that has been beautifully fixed up. Rooms spacious, clean, attractively decorated, with nice amenities (Berkeley toiletries), microwave, small fridge, coffee, comfy beds. They also serve free coffee in morning in office. Office has small canteen with drinks, snacks, sweat shirts etc. There is a hot tub and sauna. Two huge fire pits out front that are gas powered so you don't have to bother with wood. Hammocks too! About 6 miles to North Adams, very easy drive. Super scenic vista, hence the name. Lovely staff. No pets.

Blue Vista Lodge sits atop the Whitcomb Summit at 2,240 feet on the Mohawk Trail on 19 acres in the beautiful Berkshires. The views are amazing! There's much to do in the western half of Massachusetts from Stockbridge in the south, to North Adams in the north. Guests are welcomed by the owner and the friendly staff who are well acquainted to share all of the wonderful activities available in the area: Hiking trails, skiing, white water rafting, kayaking, snow shoeing, skating, visiting historical homes, museums, art galleries, restaurants, pubs, etc. Guests at the lodge can enjoy on premises: ***Sauna*** ***Hot Tubs*** ***Outdoor Firepits overlooking the mountains and valleys *** **Very clean and comfortable well appointed rooms** Many thanks!

Growing up in Massachusetts,I have driven by this place hundreds of times.What the owner did with this relic from the past is truly remarkable. You will not be disappointed by choosing this beautiful motel. The staff is so welcoming and the renovation speaks for itself. Well done everyone that brought this gem back to life...I guarantee it wasn't this great when it was originally built. The views are incredible.Clean and comfortable. ABSOLUTELY 5 FREAKING STARS !!....One more thing...get your butt out of bed and watch the sunrise!!!!

This completely renovated motel is killer!!! Perched on the highest point on the Mohawk Trail, the view is absolutely amazing! Beautifully decorated and clean rooms, amazing service, fire pits on every night and an expansive green lawn to hang out and relax. Thank you Stella for revitalizing this landmark!

It's a tough call whether the hot tub, sauna, or Adirondack chairs around the outdoor fire places with views for miles were our favorite part about this winter wonderland get-away. This fully renovated and squeaky clean property is a gem that I cannot recommend more highly.
