Blue Wren is one of the iconic accomodation sites in the Bibbulmun Track, and I can see why. It’s a YHA hostel, so it was filled with energetic young people and backpackers. The place is quirky, and might not suit everyone, however it was perfect for me for two nights. The bed was really comfortable, the place was quiet and well controlled, the shower hot and the towels fluffy. The kitchen is well equipped and kept clean and I was able to make my breakfast easily. Mark was easy to deal with and I arranged a drop off with him on my way south. Good value for money, an easy walk in to town, great pizza and shops, and he even fired up the wood stove for me in the dining room.

Super super friendly service we rung in after hours for a last minute stay as our camping hadn’t gone as planned and mark was kind enough to give us a room with such late notice! Very clean and really great kitchen facilities. 10/10 recommend

We are riding the munda biddi trail. Staying 1 night.|Very reasonable rates , comfy, friendly and clean.|Weather has been very kind to us warm and sunny . |When we arrived we did our washing, charged up e bike battery, unloaded 3 days rubbish, showered clean. |Walked down to bakery to fill up.|The shower head needs replacing.

We stayed only a night but it was the most cozy of the 6 different YHAs we stayed in during our holiday. We had the family room which was spacious and comfortable. The host, Mark, was very helpful and provided us extra blankets. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The toilets were clean and in good order. Wi-fi was strong. In all, it was a great experience for our family and would recommend to anyone strongly.

I came for one night and stayed for two. First night was fabulous with some walkers sharing their stories. Second night unfortunately a mother and two extremely noisy and boisterous children moved in rather wrecking the ambience of the place. Not the hostel’s fault of course. Place was mostly clean, the bed was warm and comfy and the wood burning stove much appreciated.

Fantastic place! This hostel feels so homely and the owner encourages this and is incredibly friendly. Lovely rooms with great storage, great kitchen and bathrooms and really open dining area that adds to the friendly atmosphere. We only stayed a night in November but wish we'd stayed longer! 100% recommended and Denmark is a lovely place to compliment this brilliant hostel
