Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar

We went here once but didn't realize it was cash only, so we came back the next day. Kinda stinks, I know there are some drawbacks to credit for small businesses but in this day and age it seems difficult to justify not accepting card. With that being said, this was my favorite of the ice cream places we visited. I got the smores flavor (one of my favorites in general, and it was great! They kind of forgot my wife's chocolate lover's but did get it out when notified. They seemed short staffed. The ice cream itself was creamy and soft. The portion sizes are great and the prices were not too bad given the quality of the ice cream and the sizes.

#1 Soft-serve Blackberry and Coffee Swirl. The combination of coffee and blackberry was delicious, both flavors complemented the other. Best bite/lick is when both flavors are in it. #2 Maine Black Bear. Sweet black raspberry swirls with vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered raspberry minis are just goodness in every bite. Extra points for being not too sweet.

We wanted ice cream after a day at Acadia and this place was on the way back to our Air BNB. It did not disappoint. Rich creamy ice cream and so delicious. Highly recommend the Maine blueberry. So good we went there 2x! Hands down the best cream we've ever had!!!!!

CASH ONLY! With that being said, what is with the reviews that state the ice cream is pricey or expensive? The portions are enormous, the price is reasonable, plus if you don't like it just go to the grocery store and grab a gallon for subpar. This is a local small business, not a nationwide chain... The girls behind the counter tonight were super efficient and friendly. We came here on a recommendation after visiting Acadia and so glad we did. If you are into seasonal flavors, please try the Maine Black Bear. It's black raspberry with loads of mint raspberry chocolate chips in every bite.

A traditional, simple, and good side-of-the-road ice cream stop. They have about 4 soft-serve flavors and about a dozen "hard-scoop" flavors. The waffle cones are fresh and tasty, banana splits, brownie bowls, and shakes if that is your thing. There is a small grassy area if you want to enjoy it there, but seating is limited (most likely due to COVID)

Amazing Maine blueberry ice cream! Only minor issue was they need better spoons…should not bend in half when you try to eat your ice cream.

We stopped here after a long day of hiking in Acadia and the ice cream absolutely hit the spot! They had a wide variety of flavors in both soft and hard serve and we wish we could have tried more of them! I definitely recommend it here!
