This place has decent maki, which is hard to find in Paris. I feel like the sushi scene here is totally polarized; you either have to shell out Michelin star prices to get good sushi or you have to put up with sushi with weird rice texture, wrong ratio of vinegar and sugar in the seasoning of the rice and unfresh fish.
Blueberry has gotten all of the above points right, and their rolls are pretty creative (for Paris). If you want authentic, japanese style sushi, this isn't the place for it. (for example, their "soup" isn't miso, it's some kind of clear seaweed soup reminiscent of korean seaweed soup and has (gasp!) cilantro in it.)
But they have a good selection of makis, which are decent. I only tried two types of maki, so i can't comment on the other stuff, but some flavor combinations might not work for you if you're the type that enjoys tasting the fish... For instance, there was this salmon yuzu maki i got, and the sweetness of yuzu JAM on top was too overpowering to appreciate the subtle flavor of salmon in my opinion. The other roll was tuna tartare with shiso leaves and again, there was a LOT of shiso leaves (especially given that this is an herb with quite a strong aroma) to the point where i couldn't taste the other red seasoning that was locked inside the roll.
I think it would be a good place to take a sushi novice or someone who prefers "fancy" flavors, not necessarily a sushi purist who would go aghast at even wearing perfume to a sushi bar for fear of overpowering the subtleness of the fish flavors.
Having said this, i would probably go here again because at €21 for le menu midi (set lunch menu), it's better and fresher than all the other sushi places in this price range.
