My partner and I were on a very short trip to Melbourne, and a lot of food tempted us. We already had dinner, but I couldn't pass up here and left, so we went there feeling full. The friendly staff gave us a pleasant response even though we ordered only a small amount of food. This brisket was amazing!!!! In fact, my partner was sick before because he ate too much food, but he said this brisket was delicious nonetheless. We were so full but couldn't leave anything!!! Next time I visit Melbourne again, I will definitely come back with a hungry stomach!!!!

Top 3 BBQ I've had outside of Texas. The serving sizes are very generous with plenty of choices. All the meats delivered in flavour but the standouts were the Brisket and the Sausages of the day. The sides were also all delicious and complimented the rich meaty feast. The waffles were amazing, but don't skip the mash and the slaw. A great selection of drinks and cocktails, plus the warm rustic feeling venue made this a great night out and a highlight of a visit to Melbourne.

My girlfriend and I went there for dinner. We ordered Feed Me ($67 pp) to try each dish. The food was very good, the meat, sausage and chicken were tasty and well cooked, the meat was juicy which is important for meat and you could taste the smoked meat while eating. We liked it, our was full 😊 I think they deserve the money you give. The service is very good, the staff is friendly.

If you feel like having a protein rich and aromatic dinner you should come try the tasting menu but remember to skip lunch cause theres a lot to try! The brisket, sausage, chicken were impeccable with various sides and entrees. Ps the place was too dark though, cant even read the menu properly 😂

This place had been on my to-eat list for awhile, so I needed to go with people who would appreciate a carnivorous delight. We all chose the Feed Me option for variety, but we were also persuaded to check out the Pork Ribs - we succumbed. Being Texan BBQ fare, we knew to expect big portions, but the platter was huge! My favourites were the super tender beef brisket, the rich and  flavoursome pulled pork and the sausage of the day with its great texture. The much touted pork ribs were a bit salty for my liking. The banquet also came with all the sides. The apple and carrot slaw was crunchy and gave contrast to the meal. The mashed potato was a favourite too but the broccoli salad was cold and not so tempting. We shared the caramel pear crumble with ice cream for dessert. It was smothered in oats, which didn't seem to complement the other ingredients. We had a really friendly server, so service was excellent throughout the night. The rustic decor gave the space a barn-like feel. Overall, a good experience and I'm glad we went.

We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at Bluebonnet, where we indulged in their amazing pork ribs and lamb ribs. The service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was buzzing with good vibes. To top it off, the caramel pear crumble with vanilla ice cream was an absolute hit! Highly recommend for any special occasion or just a memorable dining experience.

Bottomless BBQ is quite good value for $65pp. You dont get to choose your own meats though. They would bring out tray after tray of predetermined meats/sides. After you complete a tray you wait ~20 minutes for the next tray. I think most people can finish 2 trays to nearly break even from normal orders. We went on a Tuesday night, the French waiter provided excellent service (thanks).

Yelp
Delicious barbecue. Can stand up to even the barbecue in the southern US states. Beautifully presented and very flavorful.

Yelp
I'm a Native Texan and this place is nothing short of amazing!..... seriously I live in Austin Texas home of such BBQ legends as Terry Blacks, Blacks, Coopers, La BBQ & Franklin Bluebonnet is hands down my favorite- truthfully I was in Melbourne for just over a week total and ate here 3 times! Honestly it's not just the amazing food but the amazing people as well..... especially the bar tenders Josh & Ellen- they are superb! Bottom line..... If facing a firing squad and forced to pick my last meal; I'll take Bluebonnet. I'll even say their brisket is better than Franklin BBQ of Austin Texas.... yeah I'm going on the record with that statement.

Yelp
Dropped in here for an early dinner on Wednesday. First customers there haha. The two staff working at the time were fantastic and offered great advise on what was great on the menu and what their favourites were. Followed their advise and went with the house sausage with grits as a side and pork belly slaw. Then ordered some beef brisket. All were fantastic. Will definitely return to this place.
