Interesting place for events

We need more places like this. Circular entrepreneurs disrupting the industry with environmentally friendly solutions. Tom gave us a great one hour tour of all the initiatives. From mushrooms growing in coffee wastes to chairs made of fruit leather or tables made from metal fabrication waste, everything at Blue City is reused or repurposed, rethinking our linear economy.

What a blast to be part of the Pecha kucha evening that was hosted here. I enjoy the program and activities they organise here.

Innovative environment to push circular economy movements! Really loved how they renovated the unused swimming pool into a new incubation space.

Had a guided tour here. It is definitively something that you will like if you find climate change important and you put that in your work. Blue city has been a thing for almost 10 years but not even the main attraction (the part that used to be the pool) isn’t even renovated. They do have experience rooms where they have special equipment to test things.

Visited as part of a work conference. A mixed experience. It was fun to be in such an unusual place and the catering was excellent! However it was extremely cold, we had to wear coats and use space heaters, which wasn’t ideal. The hard surfaces mean that people talking create a huge amount of noise (my phone registered 75 decibels in one session). And the toilet provision just isn’t adequate- and the ratios of male/ female are really outdated, which surprised me. Bluecity is doing some amazing things for startups and circularity, but it’s not a good conference venue yet.

This building became a home for lots of different startups and small companies. There is an open space area where employees can work alone or have meetings or meet people from other companies while having a cup of coffee. The surrounding of enthusiastic people makes the atmosphere there friendly and motivating.

Awesome place! There's a big hall for hosting events, and it's a brilliant place. Original, blue and with a great vieuw. They offer spaces for a variety of blue/circular companies. I'm curious where this is going. A great team of people pulling the robe, that's for sure.
