Bluegum Dubbo by Travellers

We had a great stay at this motel. The beds were really comfortable, and the furnishings had a modern, updated feel that made the room more enjoyable. The location was also super convenient right near plenty of restaurants and shopping options. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and pleasant to deal with. Overall, it was a smooth and comfortable experience.|While my stay was overall very pleasant, there are a few areas that could be improved. The mini bar fridge, while convenient, was fully stocked, leaving little to no space for guests to store their own items especially challenging given the fridge is quite small.||The bathroom could also be more comfortable during colder months. There was no heat lamp, and the bathroom window had an open vent at the top, which made it quite chilly particularly for someone visiting from Queensland in winter.||Lastly, the single bed didn’t have an electric blanket, which would have been a welcome addition during the colder nights.

Stayed before, will again if in Dubbo. Great renovated apartments, clean, modern, all you need, and the king bed studio was roomy, comfortable bed, small lounge area, and kitchenette. Free parking outside unit. Set back from main road, was quiet! Friendly staff on reception, helpful. Bakery across the road! Can’t say more than it suited us, and I didn’t even look to stay elsewhere. Note there is an upstairs, so if you prefer ground, request this, preferably by a phone call if possible.

The room was very clean, all linen and towels fresh. Newly renovated rooms with up to date appliances. New tv with all streaming applications available. The owners were extremely helpful, stocked mini bar, and basics with tea, coffee and fresh milk.

I had a very good stay here and was impressed! The place was very modern and comfortable. Housekeeping standards were really high too. Only issue is that it's a bit far from the shops, restaurants and pubs if you want to walk. But well worth it if you want a comfortable stay in Dubbo.

Friendly welcome by Alex during checkin. Our room was great. Modern appointments throughout the room, great hot shower with plenty of elbow room. Bed was super comfortable, exactly what you want after 10+ hours on the road. Would I stay here again? Yes!

I started staying at Bluegum for business trips as I was recommended by a coworker, I thought I'd just book in & then check out other places and decide for myself. I promptly made bookings for my next 3 trips at Bluegum as they are such terrific hosts & the accommodation is comfy, clean & I do feel at home. The bed is so comfy, I love that they provide me a yoga mat to stretch after a long drive & they recommended the best cafes with yummy food! Jodi

We absolutely loved our stay at Blue Gum Dubbo. The rooms were spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable—everything felt thoughtfully designed with travellers in mind. The beds were cozy, the showers had great pressure, and we appreciated the little extras like fresh milk, quality toiletries, and fast WiFi. The location was super convenient—close to restaurants, shops, and just a short drive to the zoo. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, offering great local tips and making us feel right at home. It’s clear the team at Blue Gum take real pride in their property. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dubbo!

Rooms were spacious with comfy beds, hotel level bedding and the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. All very modern and well appointed throughout. Staff were friendly and helpful. Having parking was also a bonus and location was great.
