Guys i like this place, it is well maintained. It walkable distance from Casinos and shopping. They stopped breakfast because the breakfast room is not meeting county rules. Hopefully they will sort this out soon. If u are reading this here is a tip We have two larger rooms (2 king bed and kitchen/jacuzzi) which u can upgrade for a fee. This room is not available online. Just in case if u are looking for more space.

Google
Priced fairly, great front desk employee, located in an awesome spot, clean and safe. Not much more you can ask for from a no frills motel. Recommend for sure. Only complaint was that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the people in the room next to me and that parking is tight during busy times but I still found a spot during a peak weekend.

Google
I looked at and read the reviews of Blue Lake Inn prior to staying. It's unclear as to why there were so many good reviews. See below for details. Will not stay again. Location goes a long way but the cheap beds, old dingy carpet, and lack of hot showers puts this place at a 2 star at best. There are so many other options in that area. Pros: Good location friendly staff Fresh coat of exterior paint Cons: No pool or hot tub in winter No breakfast Very old dingy carpet Poor water pressure in shower Shower water warm at best (no hot showers) Thin walls and ceilings TV is cheap, sound is terrible, and no streaming. spectrum only Cheap beds Interiors not updated at all

Google
Quiet, clean, and affordable. It's also a very easy walk to the Heavenly gondola in ski boots. The rooms are dated - but who cares if the goal is a clean place to crash after some adventure.

Google
NO BREAKFAST. They removed it from their main page but every review, AI summary, and travel site still lauds their breakfast which no longer exists. Great location & service, OK beds, decent price. Main reason for poor review is poor heating system. Room 120 is in a separate building with 3 exterior walls and poor insulation, meaning the heater needs to run nearly constantly and is loud and severely dries the air. Temperature fluctuated from freezing to cooking in the same night with no changes to heater. Had difficulty sleeping and eye irritation from the hot dry air, never had before. Edit: +1 star for quickly updating breakfast on their main page.

Google
I chose this hotel because of the more affordable price point and the included breakfast. I called the hotel and they confirmed that breakfast was included so I booked it directly through them. When we arrived they informed as that the breakfast is not longer offered due to some county regulations. However I was not informed of this change via email or phone. If I he’d know I would have chosen a different facility. I Spoke with the hotel manager who was defensive and didn't even bother to apologize. This was very disappointing.

Google
Excellent location, just off the Main Street and opposite gondola complex. Rooms are okay size, but both rooms and bathrooms need renovation. Breakfast is less than mediocre, and very small breakfast room for so many rooms. Overall, value for money, but yes, you get what you pay for.

Google
This was a nice place. The staff was very welcoming and nice. There was a constant noise coming from the room next to us which made it difficult to sleep. You can also hear when anyone around your room is showering. But the rooms are clean. It is on par with other inns I have stayed at in this area.

Sayaka T.

Yelp
We love The Bluelake Inn! The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. The location is great (less than 5 minute walk from Heavenly Gondola/Village). The rooms are always clean. Highly recommend, especially if you're coming to Heavenly to ski!

Michelle B.

Yelp
This is a nice motel style (meaning outside entrance) hotel room that offered everything needed for a night stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the price was right. Would stay again if in the area.

George S.

Yelp
Very friendly desk clerk when we checked in; clean, comfortable room, with all the expected amenities; very comfortable queen bed; sharp tv reception. The only reason we gave it 4/5 stars instead of 5 was a terrible parking situation: no assigned spaces, inadequate parking availability.

Mark V.

Yelp
Nice room for the price. Clean, all amenities were supplied. Great location! Right across the street from the village full of shops/restaurants. Don't be fooled by the offer of free breakfast though, bagels only. Skimpiest breakfast I've came across at a hotel.

Jay W.

Yelp
Quiet place. Fridge in room made loud noise while running so I had to unplug it. Warning for you old folks out there. The toilet is so low to the floor it is better for a little kid (measures 14 inches from the floor). I'm 75 and have weak legs and using that thing was like crapping in a hole and standing up afterwards was a struggle. Rooms well worn, paint and carpet has seen better days. Not coming back.

Maryann R.

Yelp
Location! Location! LOCATION! It's one block from the Heavenly gondola. A few blocks from the beach (which is gated btw). A few blocks from the casinos and NV state line. The price was absolutely RIDICULOUS! I paid $55 per night, including tax and fees. Crazy!!! E It's like 1975, but whatever. It's ugly, but I enjoyed the blast from the past! Very spacious room with fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Good heater. Free parking. Excellent customer service! Guy at the desk was super nice! As for bad stuff, it smells old. And you can tell people used to smoke. I got used to this odor, but if they changed the carpet and curtains, it'd be gone. The pillows weren't super comfortable. And the pool and jacuzzi were not operational. Maybe I have low expectations? If you want a safe, clean place (albeit old), this works!!!

Molly L.

Yelp
Decent motel, and ok for the price. You can walk to everything from here - we rarely used the car over the weekend we were here. Service is great and friendly, the check-in was a very smooth process. The room was merely okay. Nothing particularly outstanding about it, but we did have a few comments: Pros: - Coffee maker in room (a must, for me lol) - Mini fridge in room - Convenient location - Large parking lot - Good water pressure in shower - Large room - Continental breakfast from 8am - 10am. Cons: - Stuffy, even with the windows open on 40 degree nights it got hot - AC doesn't appear to work, or work well. - Pillows are thin and hard - Bed is like sleeping on a rock; it was very uncomfortable. - Pool and spa were closed in June? Overall okay. It was nice for the budget, but I think I would like to spend a little more next time and stay somewhere with a comfier bed. My back was killing me when we left, I was so grateful when we got home to our own beds. To me, the beds were the biggest downside to this motel. If they updated their beds, this motel would easily be a 4 star stay for me.

Rebecca B.

Yelp
Should have read the reviews before booking. Extremely worn down for the price we paid. Apparently the pool hasn't been working for several years. Definitely a dump. For the same price you can stay at a much better hotel in town.

Giacomo C.

Yelp
3 stars are just about right. Not fancy, not horrible. Rooms are clean, but dated. The carpet has an old smell and the furniture has been there for a while. Bathroom amenities are also dated: toilet would barely flush the solid waste (hold the flush down the entire time if it doesn't). If you need more towels, just ask at the office. Our door wouldn't lock, so they fixed it. One of our card keys wouldn't open the door, so we used the other one... not a big deal if you're traveling with your family and are always together. Water pressure was very good. TV helped keeping toddler entertained while grown ups were organizing stuff. The pool is still closed. Beach passes are $5/person, and do sell out, so get them in the morning (you can get a refund if you don't use them). The beach is not close by, so you either walk in the sun or drive there (if you choose the latter, go early or you won't find parking available... like in most beaches in Lake Tahoe). Overall, despite the average review, I'd go there again, considering the prices here. You know what you're getting.

Juan Pablo M.

Yelp
For the price, it's more than enough. Location is walking distance to anything you might need in South Lake Tahoe. Breakfast (assortment of Bagels, oatmeal, oranges, coffee, and tea) is included in your stay as well. Room has all the amenities you need. Beds are a little stiff, but totally fine. Fridge was loud. Pool under construction. You get 1 parking spot for a car. I would come stay here again.

Emily C.

Yelp
Great location, in the heart of Heavenly Gondola. A budget inn but charges about $400 for Friday - Sunday 2 night weekend stay. My biggest concern is the lady who works night shift at the front desk..... We arrived at around 10:30pm, called the front desk number. Her response: "Stop calling, I will make you wait longer outside if you keep bothering me, just wait" don't call again I did not expect this, as this is our first time, horrible experience. Answer the phone & communicate. This is not acceptable for someone who works in the hospitality business. It was about 14 degrees outside, waited for front desk lady for 15 minutes. She took her time.... Other notes: Free but limited parking Free breakfast - bagels & orange juice Rooms are pretty spacious Stuffy rooms - had a hard time sleepy & being comfortable with heater on

Briana O.

Yelp
I have to take a minute to thank the Bluelake Inn for being so accommodating to us on NYE. We had stayed there a couple nights and were planning on going home but that day had a pretty heavy snow storm and we only got about 20 minutes out when we realized the drive was too dangerous and decided we should stay one more night. It was NYE so finding another hotel was gonna be difficult and not to mention pricey. But we called Bluelake Inn and asked if there was any way we could come back because it we were too nervous to drive home and not only did they let us have our room back but they gave it to us at the rate that we had paid our other nights instead of the higher Saturday night rate. So that saved us at least $100! We are super grateful for the excellent customer service and will definitely come back in the future.

Conny H.

Yelp
The price may be good. But this place is out dated. Rooms don't look anything like it as advertised. The bathroom was yuck and the pillows were hard as a rock and smelled like dirty dogs. Never will I ever return there

David B.

Yelp
We've been coming to the Bluelake for years. It's perfectly located in South Lake, walkable to the beach, nearby casinos, restaurants, etc. Randall the manager is always kind, friendly, and professional, and it's a joy to see him whenever we visit. He and his staff do a fantastic job of maintaining this motel. It's nothing fancy, but it's always clean and clearly well-run. We always recommend the Bluelake to friends and even complete strangers that we meet while in Tahoe! You can't ask for anything more if you're looking for a well-run, friendly, affordable, clean, quiet, and perfectly located motel. We'll be back very soon, I'm sure! Thank you to Randall and staff! ***My only criticisms are more for the motel ownership to consider. Some rooms we've stayed in could use new curtains (which can be patchy and let in light) and bathroom sinks have some cracked tiles around fixtures that need some fixing, retouching, repainting. We understand that the pool and hot tub are closed while dealing with city permits. Looking forward to finally having those open again.

K M.

Yelp
You may not think it is a big deal, but to me small details such as taking the time to fold toilet paper or towels for decor was great attention to detail.Overall, great 1 night stay and clean beautiful room. Vending machine has all items for $1 each, machine ate my $ and FD was able to reiumburse, thank you! Very likely to return!

Michael M.

Yelp
We stayed in this room the other night and we were going to use the jacuzzi tub in our room and as we put on the jets black stuff was coming out of it. The manager Randall did not want to do anything about it. This black flakes made of biofilm, skin flakes, mold, and mildew. They need to perform a deep cleaning at least once per month to prevent the buildup of biofilm. You should not stay at this location because they don't care about having a clean room for there customers. Especially during covid time.

Caleb G.

Yelp
Stayed here this past weekend. I understand it's the popular season and we are really close to the lake, but it's no excuse to stay where we did and pay what we did. The bathroom was not good, with the tub peeling and black stuff on the ceiling. The pool was closed while others were open. The staff was friendly enough, but it doesn't make up for a lack of a good hotel room, which also smelled like smoke for some reason.

Marianne B.

Yelp
One of the worst motels i have been in, had to check out a day before. The whole place needs renovation in my opinion. The price at the time i stayed was way too overpriced for the quality of the room. They charged extra for "pet-friendly room." The room was under illuminated, smelled like smoke, and all the furniture looked old and outdated. The bath room was clean at least but the bath tub had chipping paint all over. The bed was somewhat comfortable but the pillows were hard as a rock (and only 2 per queen bed.) For, light sleepers good luck getting some sleep if your room is located in the first floor. You can hear every step and creaking from the room above you.

Sencer S.

Yelp
They say all their rooms are no smoking. But ours is clearly smelling smoke. People in the front desk is saying there is nothing they can do. They cannot provide deodorizers. They are booked completely for the next 4 days which is my duration of stay- although I see lot's of people coming and going. At least the 1st floor rooms should have sheer curtains. They have only blinds. So you have to choose between complete darkness and privacy. Their "continental breakfast" is muffins.

Antida B.

Yelp
The room is very outdated and the bathroom is disgusting and the shower feels like little sharp pins hitting you. The bed is rock hard and so uncomfortable. We will never stay here again.

Mary C.

Yelp
I paid $225 for two nights for a single King room in October, through Expedia. I was really hesitant to stay here at first, just because of some of the reviews talking about how dirty it was. While traveling, I have always stayed in Marriotts, best westerns, etc. so I didn't know what to expect from a low budget motel. Pros: GREAT LOCATION, walking distance from food, beach, entertainment, etc. , friendly staff, quick/easy check in process, clean, plenty of parking, good pricing, quiet area. Cons: uncomfortable bed, fridge made weird rattling noise, the free breakfast was sparse, old/run down aesthetics inside and out. Overall, I would stay here again. The pros definitely outweighed the cons. It was worth the price.

Anthony Z.

Yelp
This was last minute reservations. Of course I procrastinated on AIRBNB. Urgggg. But I did good though. We were next to casinos and down the street from lake docking and walking distance to enjoying night on the town. So much good food, drinks and great spiritedness in people around us. Especially with everyone having to mask up.

Richard R.

Yelp
Nice motel for the price . I received a nice Veterans discount . Room was very clean and we choose the top floor for quiet time and it was . Good parking except got stuck on the ice patches.. Close walk to state line and the villages. Breakfast sucks, only coffee and bagels. Requested little extra time for checkout which they refused !!!!!!!!

Chris T.

Yelp
We went here for our first ski trip of the season. The price was really good (from a third-party website) for the location and time of year (one week before Christmas). The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable enough. The heater worked great and it was very quiet compared to some of the casino hotels I have stayed at in the area. There is a small fridge in the room with a coffee maker. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean which is most important. It has a vintage feel which is fine with me. We go to Tahoe for the skiing, not to sit in the room. All I need is a comfortable bed and a clean, warm room and I am happy. Also, it must be quiet, which this was. No hidden costs. No hassle. Thumbs up in my opinion.

Phong T.

Yelp
Overall, the inn was ok for the price. The parking is limited. They have mini fridge, microwave, and TV in our room. It is only 5 minutes walking from the shopping center. It also has a private beach pass for their customers. Might book again.

Laura B.

Yelp
We stayed at the Bluelake Inn last weekend for Yelp's Tahoe Getaway (!) and had a fantastic time. This is probably one of the best values in the South Lake area - walking distance to the Harrah's and Harveys, a quick stroll to the Lake, and a 15 minute drive to Emerald Bay. We booked via Booking.com, but would also book directly with them in the future. Everyone that works here (front desk, cleaning staff, pool cleaners, breakfast czar) is incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome to the area. I usually stay in AirBnB's or cabins, but this was by far our best visit and I'd check here first in the future. The king-size bed was clean, the room was spacious, and the 8-10 am breakfast was solid; pastries, fruit, and cereal, and a whole range of teas (I became a little obsessed over the spiced chai). Rooms also have a fridge and microwave, so I kept a rotisserie chicken in tow for the whole weekend (Safeway is right up the street). If you're drinking like a Tahoe Yelper drinks, you'll be better off getting yourself a room-chicken. Thank me later. The spa and pool were insanely under-utilized, I guess because at first glance they look like the frigid pools that adorn a Motel 6. The entire pool area was clean and comfortable - the spa is at 104, and the pool a nice 86-ish. It's the first pool I've been able to just walk right into in a long time. We hit the spa a couple times during the weekend and never found anyone else down there. Lucky us! Minus one star for not being able to shut our swollen bathroom door very easily (#211, if anyone's making repairs), and for the heavy traffic right in front of the windows. You can choose between privacy and views; both at the same time can be risky. In short, this is a great place to either crash or make a weekend of. The prices are right, the service is friendly, and the location is stellar (free parking and wi-fi seal the deal). Check this one out!

chris c.

Yelp
I was a bit nervous at first as I booked this without Actually seeing photos of the hotel. I saw a lot of bad reviews and good ones as well so I just gave it a shot. My daughter and I got the hot tub room. She thought it was the the best thing ever. Although it was super outdated, she didn't really seem to notice. The hot tub worked and had a separate tv for that area. The room was overall clean. For 180$ I can't complain. I would stay again.

Jenny G.

Yelp
We loved our time at the bluelake inn! I would really recommend this place to anyone who wants comfort, but has a limited budget. We paid 43$ per night, which included a continental breakfast as well. The inn is right in the city center of South Lake Tahoe, with anything you need close by. The rooms had clean and cozy sheets and even two additional blankets for anyone who needs an extra portion coziness. The only downside was that the maids start working early and therefore also end their work early. When we checked out at 10:30 they were already waiting in front of our door to finally get in. The other day, we left around 12pm for activities and they didn't come to clean the room. Seems like that was already too late for their services.

M. G.

Yelp
My advice if you want a working toilet, clean room, working shower, any customer service, or a good night sleep DONT STAY HERE. Zero stars. 1. I wish I read past reviews, but we came in late and went strait to bed. Was up all night by a little barking dog. We were told we had to be on the pet side even though we have a registered service dog (not an emotional support dog) but the one you need to, you know, survive. I can't imagine the people on the other side got any sleep either as this dog was very loud. 2. Heads up! The free breakfast is bagels and bananas 3. Open the blinds to find gum on them and realize the entire room is not very clean. See pics. 4. Found out our toilet didn't flush and I called down only for him to tell me he could send a maintenance man in. My husband was out so, No I didn't want a man in here while my daughter was napping. Instead of offering us another room he said I had to call back by 3:30 or it couldn't be fixed. I asked if we could be moved to a king size bed now and was once again told it wasn't a pet room when legally my dog is not considered a pet. I still understood and decided to wait for my husband to get back from his business. 5. My husband comes back has to use the unusable bathroom. He goes into the lobby to ask about about a bathroom realizing it was probably too late to move after I told him the situation. Only to have the front desk say that "I told your wife maintenance left at 3 there is nothing we can do". He explained our daughter was napping and was basically told oh well. 6. It is 7:00pm now and I find out the shower is backing up with water well above my ankles. 7. I have tried to call front desk for the past 10 minutes only to call from my cell and have her promptly pick up after the first ring. She had been ignoring my room calls. Also didn't acknowledge when I said she didn't have to ignore my room I simply wanted to inform her of something. I very nicely explained the shower situation and she said she would leave a detailed message for her manager. 8. Just checked out. My husband just checked out and she said there was no manager there. I went in 4min later for her to tell me no one asked for a manager and they both started laughing like I had made it up. The very cocky manager laughed in my face after I told him my situation. As a business owner I would never treat anyone the way we have just been treated. We just traveled cross country staying in many hotels along the way. This was BY FAR the worst. You were even worse than Davenport, Iowa. Hats off.

Shawn C.

Yelp
I did a search for a place to stay that was pet friendly and Bluelake Inn popped up as a option, so I booked it. So then I go and look at the itinerary and it said No pets allowed? I had no choice but to cancel my reservation and lost $100. Its a good scam you have to give them credit for that.

Yogi S.

Yelp
If you are looking for a nice place in Tahoe with awesome access to the gondola this it a great choice! My wife and I stayed here early in January, 2019 and the staff was fantastic. They worked with our date changes room requests with noting but good humor. Our room was very clean and everything worked. We splurged for the room with the fireplace and the hot tub and cannot recommend this room highly enough. The breakfast was simple but on time and ample to get our day of skiing started. A very short walk and you are at the gondola. Literally 2 minutes max.

Larry M.

Yelp
When we made the reservation they were really accommodating,,,, told us they had a pool , and have Continental breakfast , assortment of fruits and muffins,,,, as well as coffee and juice,,,, So we were expecting to swim in the pool when we got there from a four hour drive , NOT THE CASE SWIMMING POOL WAS CLOSED, they said due to COVID but every other hotel's pool was open !!! CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST CONSISTED OF LITTLE TWO BITE MUFFINS ( very small) AND ORANGES OFF OF SOMEONES TREE ,,,, place is old , run down, but hey at least the sheets were clean , (only good thing about the place ) If I could post this with NO stars I would, but you can't so consider yourself lucky with one star , I don't recommend this Blue Lake Inn to anybody it's a dump !!!

Nicole S.

Yelp
If you are on a budget and have low standards this hotel will do. Disappointing for us though. Cons: FILTHY carpet - had to wear our shoes in the room because it was so disgusting. Everything needs updating. The bathroom is super weird and had a very low toilet - pretty much everything from carpet to bathroom needs to be redone. AC unit was super loud and disturbing. Our sheets looked stained which really bothered me. They need to invest in new sheets. The towels are small and seem very used; it wouldn't hurt them to buy a whole new set that is better quality. Pros: Hotel is in a good location. Our particular room (225) didn't share any walls so it was quiet & sort of in the corner. The room itself is large but very outdated. The staff is very friendly and hotel comes with free beach pass (beach is crowded though).

Kay P.

Yelp
"A BUDGET MOTEL WITH 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!" And I mean that in a good way, a very good way! It's a great price, for a clean room, and great people. I think all the employees are happy to be over with Covid and get back to work! "Blanca" was super nice booking our reservations, gave us a great PET FRIENDLY room and a 10% discount for being a first time guest! Then on our 2nd night stay there was some rowdy guests that caused some trouble and the night security manager TOOK OVER! She rocks!! Lol. (I think her name was "Sherri"?) The next morning "Randall" the manager evicted all 13 of them! WooHoo! All the other hotel guests were happy to see them go!!! You could tell he took pride in his hotel because of the employees he hires. And we always saw him around the hotel doing different things and talking to guests. Everyone from the manager to the custodian was friendly there! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION= This place is literally like 300 yards walking distance to the Heavenly Gondola Center!! The Gondola ride, Shops, restaurants, bike rentals, etc. You can even walk to the Casinos. And if you don't like to walk, it's like a $8 Uber! The Pet Rooms don't smell because they have flooring instead of carpet and even though they allow pets it's still NON SMOKING!! Love that!! Some of the other reviews complained about Parking and it being OLD.... OK...Realistically, it is an older place... and could use some TLC and definitely isn't perfect, but it is a Buget Motel!! ...... So if you want perfect go pay $150-$200 a night at a resort!! Not to mention, the pet fee here is only $15 a night (as long as your pets are good) and at the casinos they want $65 a night extra just for 1 dog!! And as far as parking, there is another lot in the back with plenty more spaces. We'll be traveling to South Lake Tahoe a couple times a year and I believe we just found our favorite place to stay!

Marjie E.

Yelp
Affordable price, clean, and a 2-3 minute walk away to all the shops/restaurants. Nothing fancy, just a basic room with a microwave and fridge. Also pretty quiet at night, which is important to me see since I like to wake up early to hit the slopes!

Jaxx V.

Yelp
First timers at this place over the weekend! Will definitely be back! Man who checked me in Sunday afternoon was probably one of the nicest people I had ever met in my life. Rates were decent! Great food options all around! Awesome taqueria down the street. A quick walk to the beach and passes are included! Extremely welcoming to my service dog. Room was average, but had plenty of pillows, and good channel selection. Just a quick walk to the casinos and the prime area! Recommend if you're on a budget and not looking for anything fancy. Overall this place deserves a chance!

Sam S.

Yelp
This little gem is in the heart of all the Heavenly action at a fraction of the cost. Super clean and Trenton, front desk, was very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Ali J.

Yelp
$200/night for this dive? A/C didn't work, windows were gross, chipped paint, there was a fridge and microwave in the room which was nice but for the price an ABNB would have been way better. The front desk lady was super sweet though, offered to switch rooms but we had already unloaded at that point...she earned the second star. Place was musty too. I will say, for it being run down, the customer service was really good.

Yelp
I made a reservation online to stay at the Bluelake Inn. I paid a premium rate in order to stay in a room with a "Double King." When I arrived, all they had for me was a room with a Single King. They looked at my print out and agreed that I was sold a room that did not exist. When I requested that they adjust the bill, they stated that the issue was with the online travel site and I needed to discuss any credits with them. I felt like I was being totally mistreated by The Bluelake Inn. No, I would not stay here again.

Allison N.

Yelp
WiFi was down when we went- this was an issue because we are working remotely. Staff was semi pleasant- but not very flexible. However they were accommodating about canceling if it did become necessary due to WiFi situation.

Heather T.

Yelp
They steal your credit card information and will not refund you for charges they made to your account that was without your consent! Beware of this business!!! Unethical and will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau! BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!

Alex A.

Yelp
My room was clean which is the most important thing. My only negative comment is that there was not a throw latch on the door. However, I did not feel unsafe. I rented a pet friendly room, and I have no complaints. It is only a few minutes walk away from several restaurants as well as shopping. I stayed on a weeknight for less than $80 which is a bargain. This was my first time staying overnight somewhere since Covid19 took hold, and I am not upset about my choice in accommodations.

M V.

Yelp
We stayed at Bluelake Inn earlier this month. I think the only thing going for this place is location. Price was ridiculous for what you get but it's summer time, not much out there to choose from. People at the front desk were very friendly but the rooms and building need a lot of work. Pool was closed, beds didn't seem to have any springs in them, bedding very cheap, hair dryer did not work. If we needed anything, we had to go to the office (toilet paper, towels). No housekeeping. Damage to staircase. We were afraid to walk up it. Rot and cracking of cement. Unsafe. Beach and stateline only a few minutes away. That was the only good part.

Yelp
This review is long overdue. Sadly, this place has the worst customer service. One of the female hotel staff denied us of housekeeping because she claimed that we had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door, in which we did not. She was so rude that she continued to debate with me, her customer/guest for well over a week, about the sign even as I was dropping off the key to check out! Unbelievable. What a way to treat a week-plus long hotel guest. We will never return and continue to spread the word to family and friends. This place is s also a dump.

Yelp
We paid $120 after tax for a 2 day stay. This place is for people who don't care to have a palace and rather have a place that's very affordable and decent. No bugs. Clean bathroom. Clean floors. Clean towels & Sheets. Comfortable pillows. Hard Beds but slept well. Has central heating. Room is not fancy so don't expect a castle. Room is decent enough to give you a good stay and it smelled fresh.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly and very helpful in helping us plan our activities here. Not a fancy hotel but my room was clean, beds weren't great but not bad. Flat screen TV, mini fridge and microwave in the room. Heavenly village just a 5 minute walk and the beach around an 8 minute walk. My wife and I will be staying here again!

Yelp
I booked this place on hotels.com but had to change, booking and, calles the hotel myself to change i got much cooperation thank you Blanca. And saved some money. The hotel is,close to everything within walking distance shopping casino restaurants. I was very happy with the room and service. It was clean plenty of linen extra blankets and the shower is amazing, even extra, high and im tall so that's a plus. Plenty of pillows and comfortable bed. I wanted to stay longer. It has a microwave and fridge. Now the real test is the coffee in the, morning. But if I ever come back to lake Tahoe I will stay here.
