Bluenose Lodge

We stayed here three nights in early July on the second floor in a room at the front of the hotel. King size bed was comfortable and room was spacious for two people. A lovely sitting area outside the room in the hallway was perfect to sit in for early mornings before breakfast. The hotel was very quiet even though most(or all) of its rooms were occupied. Breakfast in the dining room each morning was amazing. A nice offering of a full breakfast and always a friendly server. We enjoyed dinner in the dining room one night and then on the outside patio which was also very nice. Food was very good with our compliments to the chef. The hotel staff were so nice and helpful with any questions. We would definitely come back to stay here when visiting Lunenburg again, which is a seaside town worth a visit!

The Bluenose Lodge was a wonderful destination. It has been painted in the colourful style of Old town Lunenburg charm, with high end,tasteful decor. The service was lovely. The bedding was deluxe! It’s walking distance to Lunenburg so you can easily go check out the town. The breakfast was included with our stay- delicious avocado toast on sourdough with poached eggs. The dining room was closed for a wedding the night we were there, but usually there is dinner available.

The staff at the Bluenose is so friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious and comfortable (though the mattress needed replacing). The meals in the dining room were delicious and beautifully prepared and presented. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch couches with a glass of wine after a day in Lunenberg.

We stayed here for one night last week. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are really friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely. Our only complaint was that we weren’t staying longer than one night. Would definitely stay here again

We did not stay at the lodge but came for the prime rib dinner. Only 3 other tables. The server was lovely but the dinner was lacklustre. We ordered rare and medium rare and they were medium to well. The room itself was very charming but not sure that we would return.

We attended their Dinner & Show package - the show was the Rum Runners' Ball. What a delight!!! The inn is gorgeous, the staff wonderful, the meal delicious, and the play hiliarious and very entertaining!!! This event is on every Wed until 24th of Sept, so book your place. We will be going to more events at this beautiful inn!!!

Our group of 4 enjoyed dinner in the lovely restaurant last night. The food was presented beautifully and everything was delicious from appetizers to dessert. Our server Melanie was wonderful…perfect timing with our orders and a warm personality. Thank you for a great night!

Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Great location— close to historic waterfront wharf with lots of restaurants and shopping. Also a good restaurant at this B&B. Enjoy the outdoor seating or a drink in the parlor— good wine selection
