Really disappointing experience with this company. Changing out lighting in a new home, I had originally planned all my fixtures to come from Blueprint because of their stylish inventory. I had three custom made. The first two pendants would not hang straight, annoying but stuff happens. They offered to ship them back to repair the "slipped washers" that caused the problem.
The cost of the electrician's wasted time on the pendants that couldn't be hung was my bad luck. All generously forgiven on my end...
So I ordered a hanging fixture (once again custom made) and very expensive. They extended a generous discount and a rush order because of the original mishap. Excited for the new hanging fixture, when we (husband, electrician and I) opened the box the extending wiring had been sheared clean off from the fixture. The piece of excess cut wire was wrapped in a neat coil and secured inside the box sheared and unattached.
Took the photos, phoned the company and they immediately denied responsibility, insinuated that this happened on my end. The response included detailed description of how my electrician must have forcefully cut it while we were standing right there.
This from she/he, the customer service person: "I don't know if the contractor is pulling the wool over your eyes or IT WAS A COLLABORATIVE EFFORT'. He/She suggested that we could send this brand new custom de$$$$igned fixture back at my own expense "both ways" and then they would repair at another EXPENSE! She/He implied my "contractor" may not have been an actual electrician. The correspondence got more and more condescending and I got it fixed by my same electrician who is licensed and accredited to the highest level and whom I can trust.
Relieved to be done with this company and still insulted by the way they handled it I warn you. This is my fourteenth house, I have purchased many goods and services but have never been so disappointed in a company.
