⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Went to Bluestone Lane on Sunday with to work on my website and planned to stay for maybe an hour… and ended up there for three because everything was that good. The food, the coffee, the vibe—impeccable. I had the B.L.A.T.E sandwich (chef’s kiss) and had multiple coffees that were perfectly made and never rushed. Huge shoutout to Norma and Michael, whose service was genuinely warm, attentive, and made me feel so welcome without hovering. It’s rare to find a place that’s equally perfect for getting work done and actually enjoying yourself. Cozy, calm, delicious, and consistently excellent. I will absolutely be back—especially days that Norma is there making the best coffee and next time I’ll plan to stay even longer and try out a Lavender Matcha that Norma recommended!! 😉☕️🥪✨

If you’re looking for American style + healthy food + really good coffee, this is the place to go. We absolutely loved it. The avocado toast was amazing — finally a generous amount of avocado, not a tiny thin spread, but rich and abundant. The gluten-free bread was the best I’ve tried in the U.S. The granola with yogurt was excellent, and the waffles were delicious too. Highly recommend!

The staff are extremely kind and attentive. The breakfast wrap that I had was super yummy, the eggs were fluffy and the ratio was perfect. The potato wedges were deliciously crunchy. I had a cappuccino with a double shot (much needed) and it was divine. Highly recommend!

I had a really delicious breakfast here. I ordered the Sunshine Burrito and a smoothie with peanut butter and protein powder – both were absolutely amazing. I also had a flat white, which was great. Water was provided for free, which I really appreciated. Very friendly service and a cool, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely coming back!

I decided to stop by for lunch today. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and a latte. The pumpkin spice latte was one of the best I ever tasted it. However, the sandwich felt short of my expectations. The cheese was hardly melted and the sandwich was just falling apart for the price. I don't think it was worth it.

Delicious spot for a cozy lunch. It gets packed on the weekends with long waits so I highly recommend coming in off hours or during the weekday. Vibe is coastal beach. Reminds me of the seaside beaches on Cali. Their strawberry matcha latte was fantastic. Not super sweet for those that need a break from overly sweet drinks. Food was good, came out really quickly. Staff was really nice and was able to accommodate our toddler with a high chair.

We got there close to opening time & found a table but soon all the tables were taken. We ordered Cappuccino & a Latte with 2 avocado toast. They forgot one of them & we had to wait a while for the next order, which was underwhelming, the bread wasn’t toasted well & the quantity of avocado was half the first one. Apart from the service, the food is good. Quality & the interior decor is good as well.

I come here every week and I love the food and the people! Norma and Alex are so friendly and responsive. I always look forward to coming here. Ps The lemon ricotta waffles are delicious!!

One of the only breakfast spots that were open after getting Shakespeare in the Park. Reasonable pricing, fine service for the early hour. Overall decent breakfast. The lemon ricotta waffles were surprisingly not bad, and the athlete's burrito was nutritious but not all that flavorful. Sadly the only hot sauce they had was Cholua :/ The fresh juice was a great complement.

This location although a bit small inside has plenty of seating outside and some inside too. They are very friendly and helpful with any questions I had about my birthday treat and sign up drink. The almond croissant is one I truly recommend it is delicious. Pro Tip: sign up for the app rewards and get a free coffee beverage. Also put your birthday on the app for a $5 reward which is enough for a pastry!

Having been to Bluestone Lane in Philadelphia I didn't find particular excitement coming here. However, this particular day was cold, windy, and rainy. We needed to sit, warm up, get some food so we can be fueled. I do have to say I was pleasantly surprised by wonderful services, and although the food did not seem anything special they were well made and presented. If all Bluestone Lane was like this place I would frequent a lot more often!

A well balanced, healthy way to start the day! I used a claim here last week and this week as well. Will be back!

Love this place. Never seen a proper restaurant cafe that also roasts and has specialty coffee! The coffee was good and they make their syrups in-house. The food menu looks amazing, I can't wait to come back and try it whenever we visit the museum of natural history. The inside was really cute and Alex and Michael were wonderful. We will be back!

Save yourselves- my boyfriend and I both experienced food poisoning after eating at the UWS Bluestone Lane. We ordered different brunch entrees and beverages but both had the same symptoms. I have dined at other bluestone lane locations without issue. In addition to a clear food safety issue making customers sick, the service and food were both really awful. My BF is allergic to dairy. He explained and inquired with the waitress whether the chicken avocado sandwich contained dairy if the cheddar cheese was removed, did the chicken salad have any dairy. He also asked it the potato wedges were cooked in dairy. Our waitress believed both mayonaise and eggs were dairy, after he patiently explained that neither eggs or mayonaise contained dairy, and he could eat both, she confirmed with the kitchen that there was no dairy in either item. that really should have been our sign to leave . The "chicken salad" was just large chunks of cold chicken breast on sourdough with mayonaise spread on it and onions. Never seen a chicken salad like that. The service was disjointed (multiple servers coming to our table after we had ordered to take our order, general confusion, it took 25 minutes to get our bill). When we went to pay, we were shown the total amount on one of the card reader devices but it was already clicked through to the pay total amount page and we were unable to see an itemized receipt. At that point it has been such a wait we just paid and left. The food was also awful and not what I have experienced from other Bluestone Lane locations. Please, please save yourselves and dine elsewhere

Pricey but decent breakfast that was very filling. The breakfast burrito was a lot of food and justifiable price. Seemed a bit dry and too much tortillas in certain areas. The burrito could benefit from a salsa on the side or something. The pumpkin cold brew was powerful even with only one shot. The cranberry white chocolate cookie did have walnuts in it. Was ok. Would recommend for a filling and casual breakfast. Would eat the burrito and I liked the drinks. Would skip baked goods.

Maybe it's dramatic, but good food is often associated with some of my best memories. I met one of my best friends at Bluestone Lane (he was a waiter) and it has become a classic in the city (that's New York City-for those who claim that Philly is "the city"-wrong). This Aussie inspired cafe has many of the classic brunch items with some unique spins. Their avocado toast ($15.75) is some of the best I've had. It's a little bit crunchy and spicy and the avocado always tastes very fresh. I'm a huge cherry/grape tomato fan, so I love that they add those on. You can customize it however you'd like. I paired it with some strawberry cloud matcha ($7.75) which is frothy and sweet-virtually one of the only ways I'll drink matcha! It is a smidge expensive (even coming from a New Yorker) but worth a visit as there are many locations throughout the city!

Decent, but nothing special. I usually really enjoy bluestone lane but this time was a miss for me unfortunately. Service was fine, nothing great, had to flag down to get water a few times. Food came out a little slow but that's fine. My biggest concern would be the food didn't seem super fresh? Some of the salads were wilted which was disappointing. The burrito is still great (everything in there is cooked). Good outdoor seating and decent indoor seating, for outdoors, I would recommend the front of the building if you can, the side seating is prone to bugs.

YOOOOOO this place was amazing. We had a bit of a wait but it was so worth it. The blue smoothie was fantastic and a must-order if you're a smoothie type of person. I had the athlete wrap and it was great they could sub out the sauce for something that fits my palette. My partner had the chicken bowl and he loved it! The ambiance and service were amazing. It's nice you can order via the QR code or the server. 10/10 will go again :)

Walked in and sat right at the bar for an intimate time with my partner! The waitress was very attentive and served us well. Provided us with recommendations and put in our orders quickly. Although our food and drinks came out after a lot of time it was all delicious and enjoyable. For a meal shared for two, it was definitely on the pricey side and nothing too special about coming back. But definitely worth coming in for a coffee! Enjoy every sip of mine!

Really good food! If you're vegan not too many options but I got the avocado toast and it was good! Drinks amazing for sure. Pretty good brunch place would go again. I think the waitress was not new because she didn't seem to know a lot. But overall good experience!

Service wasn't super attentive, and I didn't interact with anyone except for when my food and coffee were brought out (ordered from phone). I burnt myself pouring coffee from the glass jar (with hot coffee in it), which I wish just involved a singular cup with coffee in it (or at least a jug with a handle on it). Food was good, coffee was too otherwise. Cute location.

Stopped by briefly with a friend for coffee. I ordered an iced decaf oat milk latte, and he ordered an iced latte with almond milk. We had our choice of where we wanted to sit and we got a nice table with a booth. They had a food menu too, but we had both eaten. The coffee was really good and although it was loud we could still hear each other for a nice conversation. Our waiter was also really nice, and our coffees were ready in good time. I would like to come back and try some of their food options in the future. I didn't know that Bluestone Lane was in the neighborhood, but I'm glad that I found it because I will definitely be coming back. I was very happy.

Ordered 3 lattes to go, waited 20 minutes with not even one ready while the barista served his friends sitting at the bar before making the drinks I ordered way before them. Staff was rude and had an attitude, don't go here.

Oh my gosh I love this place. I came here with my friends for breakfast on a trip and we agreed that this was the best coffee we had while we were here. I got the BL burrito which was good and the fries that came with it were so good and fluffy. My friends got the gluten free banana bread which was seriously gorgeous and the avocado smash which also had a wonderful presentation. Our server was kind and we loved how cute this little spot was.

The wait staff was extremely inattentive to my friend and I, they left us sitting there for forty minutes after we ate, and did not come over even when we tried to get their attention. The blueberry waffles are nice if one prefers a more cake like, crumbly waffle. Fifty minutes have passed, still waiting on waiter. There are about ten tables and five waiters, and they have checked on both of the tables next to us, but not us. I think we have turned invisible. It's been an hour now. Very good eggnog latte and potato wedge fries though.

I love Bluestone. Their food is always consistent, mostly healthy, and super delicious. There's a variety of options, including vegetarian. Their menu isn't overly extensive, but what they have is all really good. I eat here for breakfast all the time at the location on Amsterdam, NYC and also in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles. You can't go wrong grabbing a morning bite here and their avocado smash and potato wedges are addicting!

The cutest little coffee shop! I was so excited we got to sit by the window and watch the rain drizzle. It just looked so adorable and so New York. I got a vanilla latte and it was not only beautiful but super tasty and not toooo sweet. My boyfriend got an amazing little hot chocolate. Our waiter was kind and attentive, even though we only ordered drinks. A nice spot for a coffee and I would love to try the food in the future.

Everything was simply delightful! The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding. We were lucky to enjoy the gorgeous weather, making the outdoor seating perfect. Inside, the atmosphere was warm and cozy, adding to the charm. But the true highlight was the drinks--beautifully crafted with flavors that complemented each other perfectly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Enjoyed the teas and smoothies for an afternoon break out of the sun. Very cute venue next door to a cathedral and got seated quickly.

My usual order has always been an Aussie iced latte and an avocado smash. I decided to take a chance and try something different and ordered the BL Vegetarian Big Brekkie. Soooo good!!! And I still got a little avocado smash with it! I'm not a big mushroom person but the mushrooms had some nice flavor. It's definitely a big dish which I could not finish. The service was great. I'm guessing it was the manager that kept checking in with us more than our waitress. When he noticed my latte spilled on the table he came and cleaned it up which I thought was a nice gesture. Total bill for two brekkie and two types of lattes = $57

Yoooooo!!! I'm very particular about my avocado toast, and now I'm hooked! Customer service was awesome. The atmosphere was quaint and clean. I definitely recommend Bluestone.

Giving one star cause I can't give 0! I recommend this place to my husband because I liked the food once I went! This time was ridiculous! We are waited for more than one hour FOR A BURRITO AND A CROISSANT! One table that arrived 30 MIN AFTER us, twelve people, got their food BEFORE US AND FINISHED IT BEFORE WE GOT OURS AND EE ORDERED BEFORE! Get better! Thanks

I dined in at this Bluestone Lane in UWS last year and have ordered take-out a couple of times since, including today for lunch. Dining in, I loved the B.L.A.T.E. (Bacon, Arugula, Avocado, Tomato, Egg). It wasn't as good when I ordered take-out, because the food wasn't as hot and tasted like it'd been sitting there for a while--especially the fries, which was disappointing. So this time, I decided to try the Breakfast Bowl ($16.23+), which comes with sautéed kale, cherry tomatoes, feta cheese, avocado, warm farro grain and a poached egg. This is probably a better option for take-out, although the "warm" farro grain wasn't warm. I was also surprised at how small the portion was, but it was very tasty and I loved the fresh ingredients. It is on the pricier side, but still a great option for a nice, healthy light lunch.

Delicious breakfast, great service! Avocado toast and yogurt were SO good! Convenient to stop and get cookies from Levain a couple of doors down for later snack!

Not your typical tasting vanilla latte! I give the overall experience a 4, but taste of the coffee would probably be a 3, wouldn't get it again, but wasn't awful. The taste seemed a bit off with a slightly bitter after taste. It doesn't really taste like vanilla, maybe more cinnamon like. It is an unusual flavor I haven't tasted before. Service was fast as I got it for pick up. It was at the front near the door when I entered. The inside and outside seemed like a relaxed place.

As a whole, I quite enjoy Bluestone Lane. They have light, healthy brunches and a very convenient app that allows you to order ahead of time or even reserve a table. This particular location on the UWS is cute, but the menu seems less robust than the one I usually go to in Dumbo. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and was seated right away in a cozy booth. We ordered the B.L.A.T.E. ($15.25), the Warm Chicken and Ancient Grains Bowl ($17.50), and the Rainbow Bowl ($16.50), along with some drinks. My Rainbow Bowl was so pretty, and I loved the petite heirloom carrots-- it definitely gave me some inspiration on how to make delicious salads at home. I didn't particularly taste the chimichurri yogurt dressing in the bowl but it was still satisfying and I left feeling satiated but not bloated. My Fitzroy juice was deliciously energizing; the citrusy grapefruit and lemon juice with the pineapple and ginger was such a refreshing combination. My only complaint is that the food did take a while to prepare. A party of five that was seated after us received their orders and left before we even got our food. The staff were very nice about it though.

Breakfast was very good. We had the berry brekky smoothie, iced magic, soft chili scrambled and avocado, and the breakfast bowl with smoked salmon. Food was delicious. My only complaint is the wait. It took a good 20 minutes for the food to arrive after ordering. The place was picking up and there were lots of to go orders. Waitstaff was very friendly and it was an enjoyable experience

Bright and friendly experience. This is new to me so I decided to try cafe options. Ordered the beet latte with oat milk. I've never thought beets could be a latte. Has digestion benefits among other things stated on virtual menu. It was plain but slightly sweet. Healthy options via menu. Next time I'll order food. I see an Australian aesthetic down to some of the staff. Great day/ brunch eatery.

Once upon a cold rainy Saturday, my friends and I needed to tuck away for some warm comforts. Being far from our usual neighborhoods, we found this cute quaint coffee shop on the upper west side. This was the best decision. Some of the best cappuccinos I've ever had. I swear it did have a childhood hint of powdered chocolate milk to make the taste pop. Even the matching cups and saucers to the name of this place appealed to me. The loss of one star comes from the small selections of food to order on the menu and it is a small amount of seating inside. Other than that, still a quaint stop for any UWS locals.

I ate here yesterday for the first time for lunch. I had a scrambled egg on toast with avocado and arugula. My lunch was very good and I enjoyed it. However, the restaurant was not very crowded but it took a long time for our food to arrive and our waitress was not attentive and not friendly. I'm willing to give Bluestone another try but if the service does not improve I won't return after that.

Fantastic breakfast! We got to the Natural History museum too early, so we found this place (ok, I found it on Yelp) and sat at an outdoor table. They ask that you order and pay on the app (scan the bar code on the table), and they bring your food out. My granddaughter and I both had iced chai lattes (paper straws!). She had the Brekkie Board, which was a half serving of the Avocado Smash and Collective Granola. I had the Banana Bread plate. They were both fabulous and looked like works of art. I would absolutely return next time I am in town. The service was great, and the interior looked pretty (I had a quick view from using the restroom).

This place's drinks are better than their food. The iced chai was really good, iced mocha was good too just a little bit on the bitter side and not very sweet, which was great for me as someone who doesn't like super sweet things but I could see how some people would want more. For both of them, the large was only $.50 more than medium which is nice. As for the food, it was just mediocre and too expensive. It's café food but at the price point of a sit down restaurant. Both of the burritos were around $15 and are pretty small. I'll probably be coming back just to get coffee/ drinks but don't see myself eating here again.

Had the BL Big Brekkie here, which was decent. The smoothie I had had an overwhelming artificial sweetener taste which may have come from their vegan protein "In Bloom". The service was okay, the place is extremely busy and crowded, so if you're going on a weekend be prepared to wait. In general, waiting for a place that doesn't offer much differentiation from other brunch options seems like a waste of time. The prices are what you would expect for brunch on the UWS. Coffee wasn't as tasty as some of the pure cafés up here (e.g. About Coffee).

Was in the area of Bluestone Lane UWS this morning for brunch and was able to get a table for 2 after a 3 minute wait.  Tip: If you can get a table in less than 10 minutes for breakfast/brunch, then grab it because they fill up fast...had 20-30 minute waits in 3 previous failed attempts to eat here. We were seated at our table and ordered via QR code.  Paid online upfront and they somehow knew which table to bring the food too.  While waiting for our orders to arrive, I reviewed their website and found that this is a chain with presence in CA, DC, NJ, NY, PA, Canada and Grand Cayman.  Additionally, the cuisine is imbued with Australian themes, which I don't know what exactly that entails.  The breakfast, at least, seemed like dishes that one would get at most nice restaurants. My partner ordered the Cappucino (with steamed almond milk and dusted with cocoa; see pic of the one with the heart) and I had the Flat White (double espresso with whole milk).  There is something special about the coffee here that I can't immediately identify other than to say that the coffee does not have a burnt/extra roasted taste, feels soothing as it gets into your tummy, and just feels like special care was taken in its production and presentation.  Additionally, the foam on both was very smooth and frothy.  I see why there were a lot of customers buying just the coffee! We had the Avocado Smash with feta, tomatoes and some herbs on toasted multigrain, which my partner said had fresh ingredients and enjoyed very much.  I had the BLATE comprised of bacon, avocado, arugula, tomato, egg and garlic aioli on a brioche roll, which was very satisfying.  The egg was a perfect sunny side up and all the ingredients blended very well.  The side of mixed greens was a healthy replacement for my usual choice of tater tots, hash browns or home fries.  Additionally, we ordered a side of scrambled eggs and bacon to share...both did not disappoint! Overall, the food was healthy, the ingredients were fresh and the experience was enjoyable eating outside as it was a very nice day!  Can't see why we would not be coming back...maybe next time for lunch!

Relaxing covered spacious outside for a quick afternoon pick-me-up. There are QR codes to scan on the tables outside, select your items, pay, and your order will be out in a few minutes. Perfect rest stop after a long stroll at nearby Museum of Natural History. A better alternative over the usually crowded Shake Shack or typical sbux. Oh, the blue/white striped paper straws are a very cute and eco-friendly touch!

It's cute, and the service is friendly. But the food was mediocre and that's probably the best I can say about it. I ordered the breakfast burrito and added in the spiced chicken, but I couldn't believe how bland this was. It was as if it had no flavoring at all. I added a fair amount of salt and pepper and hot sauce and that certainly helped, but otherwise I was really disappointed. You should be aware that if you're coming here to work, I didn't see any outlets. I understand their location on the UES has plenty and the menu is the same, so if it still looks like something you want to try and you need to get work done, check out that location. I also don't like the fact that if you order using the QR code at your table, you leave a top right away like it's a to go order. Tipping should really occur after the fact but in fairness, the server offered to take our order the usual way, so you do have a choice. Anyway, I'm just one person and other people clearly really like it. So check it out if you want a cute place to eat with - and I'll give it this - really hearty filling food. Just because I wasn't enthralled doesn't mean you won't be. I might be an idiot. You never know.

So glad to have discovered this chain! Staff is extremely friendly, food is fresh, and it's an overall vibe! I felt slightly rushed since I was eating solo and pulled out my computer to get some work done, but was informed that on weekends you typically can't stay for long. Also, I wish they would lower the music volume a bit. Overall, I'll def be back!

This location of Bluestone Lane is cozy! I'm giving it 4 stars because I feel the prices are a little on the high side. Today I ordered a chai latte and I found it to be perfect! I have to say, it was one of the best I've had in the city. It wasn't too too sweet and the flavor of the spices came through. The person making my drink put a healthy amount of cinnamon on the top too. The service was fast and the staff were friendly. I'll be back when I feel like treating myself.

This is really lovely food. It's fresh, healthy, flavorful, well-seasoned. The avocado toast, the salads with poached egg, the muesli w yogurt, its all fresh, delicious, nicely plated, reasonably priced and always delivers. I think its a lovely place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The inside decor is quite calming and happy, the servers are really kool and the coffee is always nicely brewed.

This place has gone way down hill. The breakfast bowl was a salad with raw kale. The portions are small. The food is average and the menu has changed so the selection is way worse. Would not recommend. Also the service was not great, took a while to get water. People next to us got one dish and the other 5 minutes later

Outdoor and indoor dining are both currently available but with limited seating at Bluestone Lane UWS location. The ambiance is relaxing and cozy. We love that there is lots of plants inside the cafe. The staff was friendly and follow the safety procedures carefully. There is no paper menu, customers need to scan the barcode and place their orders online. The phone service isn't good there but Free WiFi is available. We started with Latte & Mocha to refresh ourselves and had their Big Brekkie & Brekkie Board with scrambled eggs for weekend brunch. It's a little pricy but the portion was great. The food was overall decent, especially the signature yogurt and granola.

AMAZING food! My favorite was the soft chili scrambled eggs with avocado. honestly, I'd 10/10 recommend that. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the chili sauce complemented the dish so well. The avocado was also so flavorful, totally loved it.

I went to brunch with my son. While everyone was pleasant, the first server who took us to our table was not. He basically sat us at the table and told us to order using the app or someone would come by in 10-15 minutes to take our order. It was cold and weird considering that when you use the App you are also asked for a tip amount in advance of getting any service. So I was a little confused at this serve yourself approach. This is not aligned with what I proceed to see the other servers do. When they sat people, they also offered beverages. The first person who sat us never returned. I would have pulled the racism card but I can't because EVERYONE else was overwhelmingly wonderful. The place is clean and cost. People kept rolling in and out. Many seemed like repeat visitors and the food was good. Would love to see some kid friendly options but a lack of didn't influence my opinion.

I work from home and this is where I love to come and bring my laptop with me and have a little self care. The Avocado toast is pretty good. But my favorite thing on the menu are the banana bread and iced matcha latte! They have outdoor seating. You can order from the app for dining in and you can get points. The staff here are always attentive and friendly! It's a vibe!

Came here on a Wednesday around 1pm for a party of 2. We were seated immediately, given water and a menu. The ambiance was small and modern with lots of natural light. I ordered the green goddess bowl and added the lemon chicken and my husband ordered the ancient grain bowl. The green goddess bowl was perfectly balanced with good flavor. The ancient grain bowl had fresh quality ingredients, harmonious flavors with chicken that was well seasoned and very tasty. The service was good! We were checked on frequently and kept getting water which is essential. The coffee: my husband ordered an espresso and I ordered a long black. If you like milk based drinks and dark roasted coffee then this place would be decent for coffee. FYI my husband and I are really into light roasted single origin coffee so this is a bias that works against this place. Other than that, this place was really good! We would come back for the food.
